My first stop was a Volvo dealer who assured me they had the truck I wanted. Fifteen minutes later, after actually driving there, I was told it had been "sold yesterday." Not a great start. Then I called Auto Kingdom -- and the contrast could not have been sharper. Right from the first phone call, everyone I spoke with was friendly, relaxed, and -- importantly -- straightforward about the condition of the Honda Ridgeline I had my eye on. No games, no mysterious "just sold," no pressure. When I arrived, Michael met me and immediately struck me as someone who genuinely enjoys people. Knowledgeable, yes -- but also friendly in a way you don't see much in this business. The whole process was refreshingly simple. We talked, I looked over the truck, and maybe 20 minutes later the paperwork was done. No drama, no surprises, no last-minute upsell. Driving the truck all the way back to Maine, it performed flawlessly the entire trip -- though frankly, it's a Honda Ridgeline, so I wasn't expecting anything less.
