This company is responsive, fast, I didn't have to wait more than 25 minutes, but I also was in Carmel valley area. The driver was really nice, he did make me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. Something hit my VW in the road and it messed up my tire rod. This tow was fast service, easy to work with and had the difference calculated by my insurance coverage so payment was easy to complete. read more

Called AAA for a tow after my car decided to give up on me along the freeway. Charlie from Towex came out to assist. Easy going guy that took care of my car as if it was his own. Appreciate the help getting off the freeway and to a garage to get checked out. read more

They broke my foot clutch lever while loading on the tow truck. The driver admitted and gave me the piece that broke off after he unloaded the bike. Said to call the office for reimbursement. After several calls to the office and a period of mediation with AAA, the tow company only paid for a portion of the damage. My bike is inoperable until I get the clutch repaired. I am reporting to the BBB as well. read more

My car wouldn't start so I called AAA to come test my battery. Sam (aka "Wesam") showed up and was very friendly and helpful! I ended up buying a battery elsewhere to save money, but Sam tested my system so I knew for sure that it wasn't my starter or alternator. I tipped him and he tried to give it back, hehe...really nice guy! :) read more

I'm not sure if it's part of the company's business strategy, but one of their drivers ran me off the road, and refused to stop to give his insurance information while he was towing another wrecked car. Are used to work via AAA for a battery replacement diagnostic. Their service outperformed Mercedes Roadside Assistance on speed price accuracy and certainly service. Basil and his associate Martin provided a level of customer service that could not go on rewarded courteous knowledgeable they immediately put me at ease and they stuck around until my problem was solved. I couldn't be happier with the level of service and knowledge read more

I called AAA for a tow (they said it would be an hour), and John from Towex showed up in 15 minutes! Not only was he an awesome technician, but super friendly, courteous, professional and patient. I say patient because there was an issue with the AAA tow approval, and he waited for 30 minutes while I worked it out with AAA on the phone. I think John deserves a big raise (or promotion), because he's the kind of guy that any company would be lucky to have. I highly recommend... read more

I'm so disappointed with the service I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE! They are contracted with AAA. I have used them in the past with no problem. I waited an hour for a tow truck which was fine but the driver wouldn't even take my car. I had told them that I had broke my oil pan and the oil came out of the car. I also asked for a flatbed truck since my car is lowered. The guy came looked at the car and the oil on the ground and straight up told me he won't take it. He told me he didn't want to take it because he didn't wanna get oil on his truck. He was so rude and unprofessional. Then he told me I need to call someone else because he WILL NOT take the car. I overheard him on the phone explaining he didn't want to clean it. He legit left me here stranded after I waited and told me to call someone else. I then had to call AAA to tell them what happened. They lied and said the guy told me it was a liability issue since the car is low and they didn't want to break it more. This was definitely bullshit since he said it was because of the oil. I agreed to sign a waiver and they said someone will be there in 2 HOURS! I waited two flippin hours just to get a call that said they won't come at all because I'm a liability. Like I said before I have cracked my oil pan before and AAA called towex to get me. I have had no problem before? I never had to sign a waiver. The guy was just a rude ass who didn't wanna clean oil. Now I am literally stranded at 12am since I pay for AAA for nothing apparently! DISAPPOINTED THAT AAA WOULD HIRE SUCH A LOUSY COMPANY WITH TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES!!!!!!! Don't even bother with this company read more

Called AAA for roadside service. They sent out this company and their driver (STEVE) middle eastern dude:. My problem. My truck was stuck in the muddy grass. (No traction) just needed to be pulled back literally 2 feet. First thing driver says before getting out of truck. "It isn't gonna be covered under AAA. " I said why? He said it is further than 50 yards away. I said.. you're crazy!! It's 20 FEET ..max!! He didn't want to be bothered it seemed. Instead all he did was get out of the truck to take pictures. And tell me he couldn't do anything. I told him. You're what's wrong with people. You CAN help. You just choose not to! It would ya e taken 5 minutes to hook up the winch and pull my truck out. Instead he got in his truck and just left. STEVE is a piece of shit for an employee . As far as the rest of the company.. idk. Judging by STEVE. I would stay clear of them. I was able to get truck out myself after getting off at the situation. But STEVE ‍ you can go fuck yourself! read more

Thank you, Towex, for a painless resolution to a flat tire. The driver arrived within THREE minutes of my call to AAA. We thought the flat was from hitting a bad pothole but he discovered a large piece of metal embedded in the tire. He was able to repair and refill the tire on the spot in about five minutes. Because the hole was so large, he recommended that I take the car to my tire shop to make sure it would be okay to continue driving on it. Thank you for your fast and very friendly service! read more

So I was bringing a customers car back to them not realizing that her vehicle had 30 miles before empty. I was not familiar with Rancho Santa Fe at all... Made a turn here and there looking for a gas station to find the cost one was 5 miles away only problem was I had been driving on 0 miles till empty for the last 10 minutes so 5 miles want gonna happen. Pulled over called AAA they said about 30 minutes, ugh ok. I was delivering the vehicle after work so I was a little frustrated in myself lol not stopping when I had exited the freeway. Phone was dying, out of gas, and of of work haha. 7 minutes rolls by and I see lights in the rear view. Alex was pulling up and gave me 2 gallons in a jiffy. I was super happy it was quick and easy. Not to mention he knew right were I was going and told me exactly how to get there. Alex was super friendly and I was happy that he got me and my customer back on the road. Thanks again. read more

Battery died on wife's car. AAA came, jumped it, said they felt battery wouldn't hold charge. Correct. Said they had a mobile battery service. They came out to test battery, sure enough after six years it finally died. Omar came within 30 minutes, had the battery installed within 30 minutes and we were on our way. Service was great and professional. read more

I just witnessed Toe Ex driving like a crazy animal on the 805 S. After he was uncomfortably tailgating me, he used an exit lane on the right to pass me and another car in front of me. He drove over a median to merge back onto the freeway while nearly hitting the vehicle in front of me with the back of his tow truck. Yikes! This tow truck driver looks like an accident waiting to happen. I would not trust this driver with towing my vehicle after witnessing these dangerous driving practices. read more

This morning I called AAA and asked them to send a technician to replace the dead battery in our Toyota 4Runner. "Sam" from Towex arrived within 20 minutes after I called and went right to work. I was impressed by Sam's outgoing personality, general helpfulness and professional demeanor. Five stars to AAA, to Sam and to Towex for prompt, excellent service! read more

Battery was good one day, would not start the car the next. Called AAA which sent Towex. The tech jump starts our car, runs the test perfunctorily ignoring every indicated step such as "Rev engine and hold" -- but does get a printout showing test results which he takes with him -- and leaves telling me to just drive the car for maybe 30 minutes to recharge the battery, telling me "usually that's all it needs the first time". He doesn't leave any paperwork with me. As instructed, I ran the engine and drove the car (without stopping) for 30 minutes. Parked the car. Tried to start the car 45 minutes later and -- of course -- battery dead. Avoid this outfit if at all possible (unfortunately AAA might send them). read more

Take my advice. Any time you're dealing with a tow service, be sure to call them back to remind them of your situation. It's very common for them to completely forget about you. When that happens, the 30 minutes they told you it would take becomes over an hour :( read more

They said they would take 1/2 hour to pick me up. 55 minutes later I called & the guy had trouble finding my name, then said they would send someone in 1/2 hour & I was only 3 miles away, so I cancelled. Worst towing experience ever! These people refused to tow my truck, the said it was to heavy. I spoke with the dispatcher at aaa, and they said it was fine. The driver showed up looked at it and said it was oversized. An hour and a half later it was picked up by a smaller tow truck. When I called to complain the pretended the phone didn't work. Awesome! I would of been fine to pay for the towing but that option wasn't even given. Thanks for wasting my time. read more

Not happy with this Towing Service at all-they filed a lien on my car after an accident even though I had given them a release to my insurance company. When I called to get it straightened out the answer I received was "I wasn't here that day". I asked for someone to call me and no return calls. So after a bad accident, I have to file additional paperwork caused by their bad service. They were used through AAA so I also am going to complain to them as well. read more

Would give zero if I could. AAA had these guys come out to check my battery on two separate occasions after stalling. I was told twice that my battery was fine by these guys and provided with a receipt that showed the "read" was battery in good shape. My mechanic told me differently. One of these instances was today. I called AAA again and asked for a different company to provide the service. The other company's battery diagnosis agreed with my mechanic. Bad battery. A waste of a day. read more
