I just got saved by Juan from A & D Towing. He couldn't have been nicer. They showed up 20m after the call and had me on the flatbed in minutes. I requested the flatbed for my 240Z and Juan took great care of my car. I will be calling A & D Towing again the next time i need a tow. The prices and the service were both above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Juan. We enjoyed meeting you. read more

I was supposed to go on a trip but then my Jeep wouldn't start. It seemed to be having a weird battery issue and next step was to tow it to the dealer. Another tow company wasn't available, A&D said they'd be there in 25 minutes! Geo called when he arrived, I told him everything going on, he listened and then decided to jump the battery and it fixed the issue! I couldn't believe how easy it all felt after trying to troubleshoot it before! I also asked him for specific things on my receipt for insurance reimbursement and he was sure to put more than enough info on the receipt. Thanks Geo! read more

Did a really good job for me towing car to the repair shop. Picked up the phone, charged fair price, moved quickly, professional. Delivered car quickly showed up on-time. Recommended read more

Sooo excited they exist! I was standing beside my car and just happened to notice that the back tire was so low it seemed like the wheel was about to scrape the ground. I was pretty scared because I don't have much money at all and I use my car to drive for DoorDash to make money. I decided to see if there was anyone who would come out for something as trivial as inflating a tire/patching it, not thinking I'd find anything. Called them up, got a quick answer by someone that wasn't rude (in the auto industry!), quoted $75 with an ETA of 30 minutes. He arrived almost exactly 30 minutes later, patched up my tire, was very friendly, and charged me exactly $75. From what could have taken 4-5 hours of towing, finding a tire shop, waiting around in a shop, etc., to about 10 minutes of work and pennies in comparison. Couldn't be happier! read more

WOW!! What great service!! I had tried my road side service and would have to wait 4 hours for a tow. I called A & D Towing and we were on our way in 30 minutes just like Stephen said. Professional driver showed up and got us down the street for service. I highly recommend these guys. They were awesome. read more

Waited 2 hours in the freeway last Saturday for Alex's tow truck. Alex initially said it would be 45 minutes. Then 25 more minutes after 45 minutes passed. Then 10 minutes, multiple times. Quite disappointed. I wish he was honest and gave us the waiting time up front. read more

Chose this towing company after my tire went while on the freeway, that was scary enough. They sent a wonderful guy who got there in a reasonable amount of time, 30 minutes I think, came prepared, was pleasant and professional, switched my tire competently and left. The cost totally fair and the transaction super easy. read more

I had a flat tire and called a few different local towing companies. They had the best rate of the three I called ($50 initial and then $4 per mile thereafter). Not only that, but the owner himself came out to get me because none of his workers were close enough and he had quoted me a 30 minute wait or less. There were no hiccups and my car was delivered safely to the tire center. This company truly cares about its customers! read more

MJ was prompt, professional, and personable. He turned an ordinarily stressful situation into a positive experience. Thank you for replacing my 5 year old battery. read more

Fast and affordable. Gentleman that showed up was professional and assessed the situation well. read more

I received amazing customer service with dispatch and to the guy that came out and helped put my spare on, I believe his name was MJ. It was $65 to change the spare which was the average price in my area. They came in about 20 minutes and right on the quoted time. Thank you A & D towing for being so awesome and speedy! 10 out of 5 stars would recommend! read more

The driver Duane was extremely helpful in replacing a flat tire. Attentive service, and solid recommendations on where to get repairs done. unlike many towing companies this company was very personable and easy to talk to. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! As a young, female who is fairly new to the area, I was afraid that I was going to get completely ripped off. Alex came to tow my car 10 minutes after I called him. He said he could take it to his shop if i wanted, which just happened to be right down the street. He told me that he didn't think it was going to be a big problem (with my car) and completely eased my mind. He even gave me a ride home! He called me the next morning and explained to me what was wrong with my car. He was extremely honest and kind. When i picked up my car later that day it looked brand new. They had fixed everything, washed it and even gave it an oil change. I was extremely pleased and the prices were super reasonable. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone that I know in the San Diego area! Thank you Alex for all your guidance and help! read more

I recently bought a classic truck that had to be towed all the way from Spring Valley to Carlsbad. I scheduled the tow for 3:30pm on a Sunday many hours in advance because I had other obligations later that afternoon. I assumed doing this would ensure they were there exactly as scheduled but I didn't consider other things like traffic accidents blocking roadways might take precedence and they were a bit late. I responded by being a complete and total impatient ass which I very much regret. A stressful situation got the best of me but the driver remained calm and cool, letting me vent my frustrations and remained very professional. In the end I apologized and tipped the guy 40 bucks. They got my truck here safely, the price was better then most other places, he took the shortest possible route without being asked saving me money, and remained calm, cool, and collected despite my childish and embarrassing temper tantrum. If I need a tow and they'll deal with me again I'd call them first. If they were right on time it'd be 5 stars all day. read more

Got a flat tire, and thought I'd have to get the spare tire installed or get towed to a local tire shop. The quotes I got for both of these when I called ($65 for spare tire installation, $85 for a tow) were both much more affordable than some other places I called. MJ came out in 40 minutes, and recognized the leak was caused by a giant screw in the center of tire - he was able to plug and patch the tire in minutes! He saved me an unnecessary trip to the shop and the whole ordeal took about an hour total. He was also very friendly and answered my questions about the procedure as he worked. read more

I spent a good amount of time calling around for someone to tow my 1969 VW Bug. Just like any good stereotype, I found each company true to form: rude and overpriced. That is until I found A & D Towing and Alex. Alex is the bomb-diggity. No. Seriously. He really is. He's just a good guy. No hidden agenda. No hidden costs. No empty promises. His company even has a special tow truck that is used for vintage cars to make sure they are given extra care at no extra cost. So there you have it - Go Alex or go home (many many many hours after waiting for a tow). read more

I was trying to get my recently restored 1957 Porsche shipped from Sacramento to San Diego and got a friend to tow it as far as the Los Angeles area. I contacted Alex to get it from LA and take it the rest of the way. He coordinated with my buddy and was able to bring the car the rest of the way to San Diego that same night and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. read more

I have had nothing but the best experiences with this company. Honest, friendly and timely. No matter what i have needed be it mechanical work, diagnoses or even help purchasing a good used car, I have been very pleased. Alex is awesome!! You wont meet a nicer guy. All around great customer service from Alex. Things were not perfect since we had a little mishap. However, Alex corrected it and left things better than when we first started. Granted if it weren't for our incident, then I wouldn't have noticed that I had new scrapes from where I stored it outside for a few hours, which made me sad, but things all happen for a reason. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have noticed the mini issues I had, met the amazingly friendly ones: Bruce and Borris. I probably looked worse for wear, but in the end came out smiling. Alex was very good with handling my car, no stalls and lined it up perfectly on these thin looking ramps. I was very impressed because there was no way I'd be able to do that without any help! The cost was low, but they were far from cheap from their work to customer service. They went well beyond expectations. I know whom I'll be calling for a tow again! read more

Alex is awesome and amazing he is very customer service friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help any and all of his customers. I had got a a Chevy van that needs a new motor and she was able to help me find a very reasonable mechanic 2 replace the motor and it's extremely great to have such a kind and generous person. I see why this is the best towing company in San Diego. If you ever are stuck on the side of the road and need immediate assistance this is your go-to company without a doubt. Also they have a conveniently-located shop that is right off the freeway in case you need your vehicle towed and picked up they offer a very fast service you really can't go wrong with hiring A&D Towing!!! read more

I desperately needed help towing my Odyssey to the border so a friend could get the transmission repaired in Tijuana. AAA would not tow it because it was't going to a service facility and I was now at the mercy of a private towing company. We scheduled a pick-up time and John arrived as arranged, loaded the Odyssey and safely delivered it to my friend without any issues or problems. John called to let me know as soon as my car was delivered and my friend confirmed that he was very professional, polite and the car was delivered in perfect condition. They take credit cards and the price they charged to tow was perfectly priced and reasonable. Great business and fantastic people! I highly recommend using these guys. I will always call on them whenever I need help and I am definitely going to give their business cards to my friends. read more

A&D TOWING PROVIDED THE MOST RELIABLE AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!! Originally when my car broke down, I had Geico call a roadside service. The first people they sent never showed up. I then sought out a company through Yelp and found A&D. I told them the situation and they worked with me tremendously. Although Geico didn't have a contract with A&D, They were still able to accept their payment! Yes, when you're asking for a roadside service, ask specifically for A&D! They will work with you! After waiting for about two hours for the first company, A&D showed up in 20 minutes. The driver Jon was very professional and took his time to ensure that my vehicle was safe for the ride back to the shop. I can't stress how happy that made me. Even though I hope to never need a tow truck again, I WILL NOT HESITATE to call A&D if needed. read more

A & D Towing - Towing Near Me - San Diego, California

Saved me on the side of the road!! Geico's app was "undergoing maintenance" and I couldn't get through on the phone for roadside assistance. At 1:30am stuck on the side of the freeway I was getting anxious, after calling a few tow places they all said they would be 45 minutes and over $100. When I called A&D he assured me he could fix my flat for $75 and he could be there in 20 minutes. He got there in maybe 7 minutes and changed my flat to my spare so fast! I never had to get out of the car i felt so safe. I made it home safe and I'm thankful! read more

Thought my 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse was waterproof and I tried being a 'boat mobile' last night over by point loma in the flood rains. Nope, car died instantly. When the engine in my son's car quit we needed help. He's a Marine at Camp Pendleton so I had to coordinate everything from Seattle. Alex answered the phone and had his driver John pick up the son's Vette. Since my son was on base and not available Alex and John took extra time to find the car with only a general street location. They expertly pulled it on to a flat bed truck and drove it 45 miles north to Oceanside, CA. They texted me pictures of the car being loaded and then being delivered to his home. The charges were VERY reasonable! I can not express how professional they were and what care they took with my sons car. I HIGHLY recommend A&D Towing to EVERYONE in the greater San Diego area. Don't trust your car to anyone else. Thanks Alex and John! read more

Called about 2:00PM yesterday, and got a tow rolling in my direction to cowels mtn for my baby car that had a bad belt...it sounded awful! Alex showed up in his big white truck and was chatty and super nice, complimenting my bf's truck and struck up a conversation with both of us. Nicest tow driver I've ever met. He hooked up the car in 10 min and I was on my way in 15. I am so glad I opened up Yelp and found a nice company and used A&D towing. They will definitely have my future business, and hopefully only recommend them in the future. Being stranded is NO fun! especially when I had a wedding to attend! He towed it 10 miles to lakeside muffler and welding for me, and Alex phoned me when he dropped it off announcing the car made it in one piece. I was impressed and relieved as I was scampering to my next vehicle to make a wedding! All in all I was impressed, and really happy I found AD Tow. I'll use them in the future for sure! Best towing company! When I called Alex, I ask him if he can pick up my van from Oceanside and delivered to me in National City. Alex said no problem and his driver John would pick it up for me. Thanks God John was ok with driving for almost 6 hours since it was traffic going there and coming back. I'm so relieved that a and d towing help me get my car back. :) read more

A & D must stand for Angel Delivered!! I needed a jump start. He did just that and told me to keep the car running (drive) for 20-30 minutes to get a full charge. Well. . .I was stressed and in dire need of wine. Needless to say, but I will, the store was NOT 20-30 mins away so I arrived and turned my car off; it didn't want to start when I returned. I had to call him AGAIN from the store parking lot. I know, I know, but you question my actions without considering my thirst. . .and stress. Anyhoo, this guy didn't even charge me for the second time!!!!!!!! read more

Great and very fast service. Highly recommended! Fixed my flat tire in less than 20 minutes!

I am visiting my aunt in San Diego, CA. Yesterday, I went to the store and forgot my cell phone. My car would start and stop over and over. I was stuck in a parking garage! I used the phone in the store and was lucky enough to eventually get to A & D Towing, since most places refused to come. I spoke with Alex, the owner. He came and his driver came with the truck, towed my car, and Alex drove me home. I have a Volvo and most mechanics have to specialize to work on them. Alex knew how, and he replaced a small part, drove my car around and it was fixed. His price was so affordable! He also brought my car to my aunt's house today! Wow, he truly makes customer service his priority. He is kind, thoughtful and knows his stuff! I would recommend him 100%. He is the best!!! read more
