This company is THE Absolute best. With the amount of work I requested and time it took to execute, Dave the owner and senior electrician carved out a schedule that worked for me. He honored my last minute request without any questions. The response time was quick to review the job and the proposal quickly followed and was very fair. Dave from Tower upgraded my dryer outlet and circuit breaker this morning. Leading up to the installation the communication from Dave was top notch. He was quick to answer emails and steered me in the right direction as it related to equipment choices. The breaker Dave recommended was significantly cheaper than the one I proposed installing. Knowing that Dave recommended a more economical solution right off the bat really showed that his intentions were all about doing the job properly while providing value to the customer. As far as the installation goes I am very happy with the work that was performed. Even though the floor space would be completely covered by the dryer the effort to ensure the space was protected (tarps laid down) and vacuuming of any sheet rock debris was great to see. There were no short cuts taken on this install. Dave and his crew were extremely friendly, showed up on time, and he answered a bunch of unrelated electrical questions that I had about the house. I discovered Tower Electric when searching for local electricians. Jackpot!!! Dave turned out to be a true professional. His communication was really fantastic...I left an initial phone message and got a return call from Dave within minutes. We communicated w/ texts as far as scheduling and job specifics. Both days of work Dave arrived promptly, was highly professional, personable, and worked with remarkable attention to detail. I had him change all of the switches an outlets on the main floor...put in 8 LED inserts in the kitchen (very clean & bright BTW)...and the biggest job was replacing the neutral bar and ground bar on the main panel. My wife and I are truly happy to have found an electrician who cares about doing the job in the best way possible. If I could give Dave a 6 star review, I would! I called him, we had a bad connection and he said he'd call me back. Yeah, right, I thought. Shortly after that, he did! I explained that I couldn't get a hard-wired smoke detector location to stop beeping no matter what I tried. Even after I took the unit down from the ceiling, removed and replaced the battery, the spot where I removed the smoke detector was still chirping! I lost a night's sleep because of it. Dave patiently explained "that wires don't beep" and that there must be another old detector near-by. I thought that was impossible, but... sure enough, stuffed in the desk drawer right under the ceiling spot, an old detector was chirping away. I couldn't believe it. Dave was a genius and saved me 100's of dollars. My husband and I laughed a lot about this but in the end, Dave knew exactly what the problem was! Thank you so much!! read more

Extremely thankful to David for coming out on a Sunday no less to help put in a plug we needed immediately. From the phone alone I knew he was the right guy! Usually I'm skeptical when someone says they're an upfront guy but he was really forward on what could and needed to be done. Very patient and thorough in explaining step by step what could and couldn't be accomplished as well as pricing. Maybe to some as long as the job gets done, they might not care about attitude but personally, it's always a pleasant surprise when you find someone who's both professional and kind. If I had any complaints, it'd be that it took a bit longer than hoped but I rather someone take their time doing it right than having a rushed job. All in all, great work and customer service. I've used numerous electricians over the years for household renovations, additions and small projects. I have been only reasonably satisfied by their work. Most recently, I completely gutted and renovated my existing kitchen. Dave was my electrician. His promptness, craftsmanship, and pride in his work are beyond reproach. He is pleasant to work with, always willing to share ideas and did not quit until my wife and I were satisfied. He goes the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. Contact level prior to the job was excellent, showed up on time and solved all my issues while educating me at the same time all at a very reasonable price. Wonderful personality and has a great network of other pros to recommend. I already have scheduled my next job with him and will be using him for a kitchen reno later this year. I like that he can email you any estimates or invoices, right on the spot. He's old school in his ethics and the way he does his work, but new school in taking advantage of the right technologies for helping his customers. Tower Electrical gets my highest recommendation. I used YELP to source electricians near my home in Somerset County and got 5-6 quotes for replacing 3 light fixtures. Dave (the owner) responded quickly and gave me the best quote without asking numerous questions as some others did. Talked to him Thursday PM and he arrived Saturday AM, as agreed. Not only did he hold to his quote but he wouldn't let me pay him extra for fixing my shower light, which was not part of the deal. He's been in business about 30 years and impressed me with his knowledge, work ethic, and experience. We searched for an electrician for a couple small issues, wall switches that didn't seem to control anything, add a light over the sink in the kitchen and install a new outlet on the deck. We told Dave not to come back after he ignored us for weeks at a time and was also rude to his workers and other people working on our house. He is a racist AMD has zero integrity. I found out he was fired from another job for same reasons . . Dave did not show up to scheduled appointment all the time ( this was so frustrating ) But he would say with a straight face looking you in eye that he would be at the time we both confirmed ... I had Dave over my house to update some of the lighting outside of my house. Getting it ready for the Holidays. When I built my house Dave suggested I put in a Christmas package that had all my window Christmas lights on one switch and one breaker. I've got a white light in each window of my house and one light switch turns all the lights on and off! I will take a picture of my house with the window lights on. It makes my life easy every Christmas and I don't have to get on a ladder or hire some expensive Christmas light company each year. Okay, I did have a relatively simple electrical need, that being a fix to a bathroom wall switch. We called in David after we had water damage due to a roof leak and our light was shorted out. We didn't know if the water had fried the circuit and needed to be replaced.
