Warning: Fraudulent Towing Company Impersonating other Company I've been a loyal customer of the original Company for years and was shocked when I encountered a new company, Tow ME Ed, trying to scam me with a completely different rate and, more concerning, attempting to impersonate the legitimate Company business. This is a classic case of a chameleon business--one that steals the name and reputation of an established company in an effort to deceive customers and take advantage of their trust. It's hard to understand why some businesses choose to steal someone else's hard-earned reputation instead of creating something original and legitimate. Tow ME Ed is clearly trying to trick unsuspecting people by using a similar name, and I urge everyone to be cautious and verify any towing service you choose. Tow ME Ed is not affiliated with The original Company i call, and they are intentionally misleading customers with a fake business identity. Tow Me Ed is simply a cut above the rest. He was friendly, relatable, and he made a seemingly stressful moment (your car dying in a regular parking lot) a lot more palatable. Ed is reasonable with pricing and is also helpful in payment methods (I gave him my credit card over the phone, and he was able to come over quickly after it went through). First thing that he tried was recharging the battery to see if I could be on my way already. When that didn't work, he got to work, we were able to tow my car and take it to my mechanic, all while having a cool conversation (Ed has had an interesting life). My Volkswagen key and car didn't operate and I called Ed to tow the car back to Burbank Airport Car Rental. He came to the Rose Bowl parking lot in time and picked up the Volkswagen Car and went to the Burbank Airport. I took his word to leave the car in the middle of the spot where the bus shuttle runs to pick people up.
