A family friend called Dennis at Tadio's Towing for us. When they came, plan A and plan B didn't work. The drivers were very helpful throughout the process and very efficient. I would highly recommend Tadio's Towing. They are good people and good at their jobs.

After at least 8 inquiries to various tow companies on Oahu over a one month period I finally was lucky to contact Dennis at Tadio's Towing. After providing the exact same explanation of my situation to him that I had shared with all the previous tow companies I had contacted earlier he was the only one who without hesitation said he could do it, provided a price, and even offered an alternative solution that was even better than what I was planning. Set up a date/time for the removal and aside from needing to bump the time frame a few hours from the original time, Dennis showed up and did exactly what he said he would. I cannot begin to express how grateful I was to find a tow service that didn't gaslight me with assurances and then ghost me, wasting my time and efforts. Dennis and Tadio's were a pleasure to work with, explaining to me the process and even more importantly, doing what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I'll be contacting Tadio's Towing for any future services I may need in the future first because my time is important (as is everyones). I highly recommend Tadio's Towing if you need a competent professional who takes pride in his work and communicates effectively with you toward a satisfactory conclusion.

Instead of immediately hooking up our car to be towed, he broke out a set of tools. He reminded us of a surgeon prepping for surgery. I called the AAA for a tow to the car repair shop. I was promised: 2:45pm O'Sung Towing LLC should arrive; I waited ... then received a text: 3:29pm O'Sung Towing LLC should arrive; I waited ... then received a text: 4:24pm O'Sung Towing LLC should arrive! I had been waiting for 3 hours! I had called AAA and was routed to an AI (I hate these things) generated texts ... do you want a STATUS? do you want to CANCEL request for a tow, or do you want an AGENT? I had waited for 3 hours! I called O'Sung Towing LLC and was told they provide 24 hour service; OMG, this is a AAA contractor and they represent AAA. We are 40 year members of AAA! This fact did not impress the AI or human Josh, or Lovye or Christine with AAA that I had been waiting for 3 hours and the fact that as a senior citizen, my request for a tow was disregarded as a insignificant. AAA wanted me to CANCEL my request for a tow and risk waiting 24 hours as their contractor O'Sung Towing LLC prides themselves to service AAA members, without regard to being members for 40 years! What is their purpose for existence! I should have called GEICO at the beginning! As a result, I am cancelling our 40 years membership with the nationwide known AAA. What a waste of time and effort and money to trust AAA. What a waste of time and money to trust O'Sung Towing LLC. AAA should not trust O'Sung Towing LLC and eliminate that company as AAA contractor. I trust GEICO.

I was greatly overcharged for a tow of our car after an accident which occurred close to our house…read more The police called a Sniffen's tow truck which towed the car less than half a mile to our house. The tow driver (Sniffen's Towing, contracted through Kuni's Auto) refused to unhook our car unless we gave him an immediate cash payment of $240.00. He threatened to tow our car back to his company's lot on the other side of the island if we didn't pay cash immediately. The driver said he could not accept credit cards. I called the Sniffen's company number painted on the side of his truck and was told that the driver was correct to ask for cash payment and that $240.00 was the correct amount for a tow of less than a half mile distance. The tow driver revved his engine and threatened to take our car away if we did not give him cash immediately. A friend had to drive one of us to an ATM to get the cash so that he wouldn't leave with our car. When we had time to research it, we found out that as per Hawaii State Law, the charge should have been no more than $55+$15 for Sunday and less than $6.50 for mileage to about $76.50. We were overcharged by about $163.50. The law states that tow drivers must accept credit cards. The law also says that the police should first give the car owner the option to call the towing company of their choice in case of a disabled car. We were given no such option. (She could have called Triple A.) I called the police to question their choice of towing company and was told that this company is contracted by the police and is the one they are required to use. My husband called Sniffen's Towing/Kuni's Auto to complain, and was told to "come down and show us your balls". No joke. We complained to the Office of Consumer Protection to get our money back and Consumer Protection wrote a letter to Sniffin's demanding that they refund the overpayment to us. Sniffin's never refunded the money. I called Consumer Protection and they said that those tow companies never pay. I went to the Sniffin's place of business and asked them to refund our money. They said, "Go ahead and try to prove it in court. You will never win."
