Stopped by for a latte since I was in the area and ended up leaving with a box of three goodies as well. Located in the food court of International Mart, this Tous Les is somewhat tiny but has enough room for seating. Grab a tray and tongs and make your way down the aisle grabbing backed goods that catch your eye. I ended up with three - crookie (so good, but definitely sweet), chocolate cream donut (verdict still out - yet to be eaten) , and a sweet frank roll (my son loved it!). To drink I got the ube latte. Not super sweet, but I should have gotten a double espresso shot - next time. Solid spot for pastries and a latte. I'll be back. read more

Be aware that this location is inside the Grand Mart supermarket, adjacent to the food court. Inside though, the actual cafe has the same ambiance and furnishings as the other stand alone cafes in the area. Although the cafe is open until 8-9pm at night, also be aware that many items sell out earlier in the day and are not restocked. (We ended up going at 5pm on a Saturday and snagged the last baguette.). Super clean and comfortable, the breads and desserts here are amazing! Had a curry donut and a honey cheese pancake - both were to die for! The baguette was fresh and excellent as well - they never last long in our house! read more

The pastries here are my absolute favorite. I went to the Tous Les Jours in Annandale before, so I am stoked they opened one in Germantown. Any of the blueberry pastries are very amazing, and their savories are good too. Flaky and fresh, always. The cashier was extremely patient with me as I downloaded the app and helped me to get the best possible savings using multiple transactions. Their app has poor ratings, but it did help me get some free cookies, and I had no issues. read more

This location does not have a great layout. I understand they wanted to have a seating area but this made the area where the breads are so tight! You're always bumping into other customers and some are mean and slow. Also, pastries are overpriced and the ones with fillings are not filled well. Today I ordered a drink ($6) for the first time and it did not taste good and the person who made it was rude! Very disappointing! read more

The quality of the baked goods at this location does not stand up to other locations. My mom brought me a couple pastries and they were visibly overcooked. I've never had a bad pastry from a Tous Les Jours until this place. So disappointing. read more

What a hidden gem!!!!! This bakery/cafe is located inside of a grocery store. The bakery is well lit, modern feel, and very clean! The pastries taste as good as they look! So many options, all fresh and ready to go. Don't sleep on the sandwiches, they're really good - ask them to toast it! Great place to "work from home", pretty quiet, and service is prompt and always adding more baked goods. If you buy something from the grocery section, you get a 10% off coupon for the bakery. This bakery has a good amount of drink and food options despite Britney nestled in a smaller space. I wish there were more options later in the day but I understand the constraints of bakeries not always being able to have fresh baked goods after the morning and lunch rush. Good place for drinks always get my drinks on time even thought is really busy and today that is not even busy the girls took for ever with my drink when I look my coffee was just sitting there at the coffee machine for no reason until I said something and they stop talking and got to work again then when I got it is wasn't even good like the other do it so when I ordered a refund they lady in charge Mayer give me attitude and took 15 minutes for her to do the refund I needed need to work more on how to talk to costumers and how to work in the machine to be in charge of the others specially on some basic knowledge like a refund read more

Annnnnd another review. Would love for them to have a rewards program because I visit so frequently beside the drink stamp card. Found myself with house guests and nothing for breakfast that they would eat. Cue excuse to travel for some pain du chocolate and chocolate avalanche. Upon entering, I was cheerfully greet and welcomed by several of the morning weekend staff members. They just brought out the fresh breads (9 am breads were coming out) so helped myself to a baguette, chocolate pretzel (more of a chocolate bread twisted into a pretzel shape with little crunchies), mushroom pastry, matcha croissant, and a matcha lemonade (in addition to the other chocolate orders). Like I said before, I come here frequently but loved how there were still new foods to try. Not sure if it was because I was hungry, but everything was delicious. I didn't get pictures this time but the chocolate pretzel was pulled apart and quickly devoured. A guest tried a bit of the matcha croissant and was surprised by the hint of bitter (first time trying matcha) in the cream but it didn't deter the regular household members. So good, we went twice before I managed to post this review - Tous Les Jours Germantown is located in the New Grand Mart Asian grocery store, and it's not hard to miss as it's to the right inside of the entrance. The smell of fresh breads makes it hard to not stop to take a look. Plenty of staff are around baking, serving, and stocking baked goods, so it's not hard to find someone if you have a question. There's also a seating area, but if it's full, it'll be tight. Every pastry we had was amazing, and the iced ube latte with espresso was a big hit for me! read more

Before competitor bakery in the area I went there often I liked one of the nutty breads they make which is really good and their lavender latte. Their lavender tasted better in the coffee than the other place. But it was quite off putting recently I went there they filled the entire cup full of ice and when i asked for less ice, the guy gave me a half filled cup of coffee, it was ridiculous, what ethical biz practice is this? Like they thought it was ok to scam customer with ice and when asked for less they just give you way less coffee. The other aspect is the use of margarine or hydrogenated fat in their baked goods. read more

If I could title this review it would be: The most fresh baked goods in MoCo! This isn't my first time eating the baked good from Tous Les Jours, my family has been bringing them home for a few weeks but I never ventured out in person until today. VERY glad I finally went for myself, everything was so aesthetically pleasing... from the way the goods are shown, the seating area and the simple but cute store corner. I really appreciated the consistency in goods as well, size and designs were wonderful. The staff were also extremely kind! It was my first time so I wasn't so sure about the flow of things but someone quickly helped me. I spent some time looking at cakes for a birthday, soon one of the staff members came over to help me and gave me some recommendations for slices. My current favorite is the chocolate covered croissant with almonds - the slight crunch of the chocolate is nice with the softness of the bread. Tuesday 7/2/2024 Located inside the new grand market, This spot specializes in baked goods with influence from the French and Japanese. Its pretty much self service with you having to pick out what you want on a tray and then paying for it with a worker once done. Also MOST of the baked goods are on the lighter side when it comes to their "sweets". I spent $56.58 and got a mango smoothie, taro cream bread, milk cream red bean bread, custard bun, mini cheesecake (soufflé), carrot cake, caramel apple pie, honey cheese pancakes, strawberry croissant, garlic cream cheese bread, and vanilla cream donut. -The garlic cream cheese bread was decent at first but got even better once warmed up which made it good. -The honey cheese pancakes were a unqiue and tasty creation. -The taro cream bread was my 2nd favorite that I had, it was soft and not overly sweet. -The milk cream red bean bread was my favorite and I was surprised I liked it as much as I did. -The vanilla cream donut was decent but be prepared for ALOT of cream on the inside. -The mango smoothie was a solid smoothie. -The mini cheesecake (soufflé) was alright but I don't really see the hype for it. -The Caramel Apple pie was decent but it was a bit disappointing due to the lack of filling that I was expecting in a "caramel apple pie". -The custard bun was alight but nothing crazy for me. -The strawberry croissant is decent and it looks great. -The carrot cake was disappointing and after paying $10 for it, I can definitely say it wasn't worth it. All in all, this bakery experience was a pretty good one that I would come back to and recommend. Heads up: make sure yall try the milk cream red bean bread and taro cream bread. read more

I absolutely love Tous Les Jours, they have amazing coffees and fresh/tasty bakery items. I always get their honey lavender macchiato which if you're a lavender fan like me, it's worth it here. Usually I'm not so much of a fan for honey, but the combo together is delicious especially as a macchiato. I got their mango doughnut and a strawberry pastry which both were super flavorful! The interior reminded me of a Tous Les Jours in VA because they had the pink/gray velvet shell chairs here. I'll definitely be visiting more often for coffee before they move down to Rio area. read more

Having this bakery inside the grocery store is genius. Get your groceries done and I think if you spend over $25 you get a 10% coupon for your purchase here. Having a mix of savory and sweet items is a plus, I've been here since opening day and I've been going consistently and their quality is still amazing. I prefer this place over Paris baguette in Germantown. My favorite is the cloud cake if you like light fluffy fruit cake and any of their pastries its a hit no matter which one you get. read more

I stopped at their new location, and was really impressed with the variety. We only tried a few of the French pastries (croissants, including ham & Swiss), baguette, flaky apple turnover, strawberry and cream cake, and a vanilla fruit tart). It was all so fresh, and had great taste. The cafe is super clean; really friendly staff. There is so much there to choose from, so will definitely go back. Everything is baked fresh daily and they even have a sign with the schedule of production for all their baked goods. My favorite had to be their honey cheese mochi pancake. OH MY GOODNESS! Pastries are consistently good with both savory and sweet options: We particularly like the soboro and red bean breads, which are sweet but not cloying. Great addition to Germantown! It is inside of the New Grandmart grocery store, where the food court area is. The pastries and coffee are very good. There is a nice seating area. They do run low on pastries towards the evening, so I recommend going earlier in the day. It is a little smaller than other locations in the DMV, but they still have a great selection of food. You guys, run, don't walk to Tous Les Jours. I am not exaggerating, but this place is amazing in all possible ways. This café is inside an Asian grocery store, so it's unassuming from the outside. When you go inside you will see the café on your left. It's a small café with plenty of comfortable seats for you to stay and do work or study or even just hang out and catch up with friends. Couches, cute seats, plenty of tables for you to stay a while. The display cases for their pastries and desserts are amazing! Lots of freshly made pastries - the look and the smell are enough for you to lose all self-control and buy every single item ( we kinda did). Lots of these café are all about looks and no substance, not this one! Every single pastry we ate was delicious. Their mushroom onion and cheese pastry is mouth watering delicious. The flaky and buttery crust, the nutty cheese, and the sweet taste of the mushroom were yummy! That's my favorite. The Yuzu pie (not a pie, they used puff pastry) with a yuzu filling in the middle. It was light and flaky, and it was citrus-y without it being too sweet. Come to this cute and friendly café.. trust me, you won't regret it! I'm always down for some Asian-inspired baked treats and pastries so I knew I had to check out Tous Les Jours when I was at my school in Germantown. I love the look and vibe of the place - bright and open, located in the food court part of the new New Grand Mart (which I'll need to check out another time!). I picked up a few assortments of treats: the chocolate avalanche, corn cheese donut, curry croquette, mocha cake mini, milk cream redbean, and strawberry cream croissant. I also got the ube latte, though I don't think there's any coffee in it. It was still good though! I've only tried the corn cheese donut (unique and my husband really liked it but I didn't think there was enough corn cheese flavor) and curry croquette (not curry enough and the bread seemed greasy). My mother-in-law had the strawberry cream croissant and enjoyed it a lot, saying that the cream used in Asian desserts are always "not-too-sweet" (IYKYK, highest praise a dessert can achieve from an older Asian woman). I'm saving the other treats for tomorrow but I'm sure they are all good too! I'll definitely be back as it is right down the street from one of the schools I frequent! read more

This is a South Korean bakery that I've been extremely excited about. I believe this is the first location in Maryland and it's located inside the New Grand Mart. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. Inside, you'll find the bakery right next to the check out on the left side of the store. They have so many options, everything is displayed with labels and easy to access. The desserts and baked goods taste extremely fresh. Their drinks are made quickly, I got the ube latte but it just tasted like taro. Their service is quick and the staff are happy to answer any questions that you have. Tous les jours is one of my favorite korean bakery and this one located inside New Grand Mart is convenient and great. While it doesn't have as many options as other standalone Tous Les Jours I've been to, what they do have is fresh and tastes great. I really like the soboro redbean bread, sweet rice donut, sesame bread and their iced caramel macchiato is great. I will be coming here often. read more
