Although the cafe is open until 8-9pm at night, also be aware that many items sell out earlier in the day and are not restocked. (We ended up going at 5pm on a Saturday and snagged the last baguette.). Super clean and comfortable, the breads and desserts here are amazing! Most people, especially on weekends and days off, have time to go out and shop--but you close quite early, which limits that opportunity. These kinds of hours don't make much sense for a popular bakery. It feels more like an office schedule than a customer-focused business. He was tragically killed by a hit and run driver last year. He was a friendly, outgoing, and a pillar of the community. Truthfully, I teared up at a memorial in the bakery for this family man and excellent chef. We had many conversations when I came in to pick up family occasion cakes. It is hard to believe he is not there. The business is still running under the capable hands of his daughter and son in law ( and his right hand baker- Maria). My granddaughter's cake turned out beautifully and was delicious. The bakery is still here and although I really miss seeing chef Harry, but I am so happy his family continues to honor him and serve delicious baked goods.
