I go to this salon to get my pedicure and SMS done to my nails. Anna does my nails who is the owner and normally who ever is available does my pedicure. It a small waint spot but pretty friendly. Anna does a good job as I don't like a lot done and I like them to look pretty natural. I recommend

Touch nails have been my nail spot since 2019 ... they have a came a long and amazing way. from bringing in new things like lashes & champagne. business has definitely shoot up for them and they deserve it !!! shout out to May , Daniel and CoCo. The prices has definitely went sky high but it's worth it when you ready to doll up. Amazing nail techs !! thanks for your service!

    What i asked for

This is probably one of the worst nail experiences I've had in months. I came in to get an acrylic set done, i called beforehand and they told me it starts at $56. I showed my tech, Cindy, the set i wanted (pretty intricate) and she said she could do it and it would be $110, which i was fine with because it was a detailed set. As she started doing the nails, it was clear she did not know what she was doing and other techs kept coming over, which was concerning to say the least. She then told me i couldn't do both of the colors on the set or it would be an additional charge? Which made no sense because she already gave me a price. I decided to just do the one color (pink) after going back and forth and her refusing to do the yellow. After that she attempted the design and it genuinely looked so bad i just had to choose another set. I wouldn't mind if she told me from the beginning she didn't know how to do the nails i showed her but she waited until we were almost 2 hours in before doing this flower. When i realized it was not going to look how i wanted, i told her we can change the set to something easier. She was visibly upset and you could tell she did not care how she did my nails after that. She did the nails very sloppy and some of the lines were uneven. She then said it would be $95 even though the set was way less complicated than the initial one. I did not enjoy this experience AT ALL and I'm upset i even traveled to try this place.

I follow touch on Instagram and they do a lot of funky nail designs. I decided to stop by and give them a shot. This is not the salon to feel pampered. It feels very drab with the dark paint and lack of energy from the staff- everyone was taking a nap when I came. They must work very long hours. The salon needs some life. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, so far it looks great and was inexpensive. My tech spoke good English and honored all my request. They have an assortment of very pretty colors to choose from. Oh and they get props for having Sam Smith on the playlist. I would return and be delighted with my inexpensive services.

I've been going to Touch Nails for about 3 years now. I left to go to Florida and came back home and decided to get a pedicure. Never again! Ever since half of the staff left it is truthfully a disgusting place. I've watched them use the same tools without disinfecting or sanitizing their tools today. & I'm so upset because I came in to get a pedicure. Prior to me coming here I had acrylic on my right big toe and asked if I can get it soaked off . The lady receptionist said to me that it will be "FILED DOWN" Next thing I know, I'm sitting in the chair starting my pedicure and the guy started filing down my nail. Then "KANDY" who was sitting next to him grabbed a fake nail and snatched my nail right off. It was so painful! That was my first time having an acrylic in the first place and for them to do that showed they DO NOT CARE! Just want your dollar. It really pissed me off NEVER EVER AGAIN I DONT RECOMMEND especially if you're looking for a sanitary and healthy place to get your nails done during these times. Service: Gel Pedicure & Right Big Toe soaked off with regular polish. P.S. it is a pointless to have all that plastic wrap around as if yall are taking proper precautions and y'all aren't cleaning your tools or replacing them with new ones. WORST $35 spent!

Just after I got them done.

This was my first time going to Touch Nails. My friend recommended it to me because she usually goes to get her lashes and nails done with her mother. I made the journey to Touch Nails to get my lashes done for my 21st birthday. I liked that you didn't have to book an appointment. I just called the day before to double check. The ladies there were very nice and the rooms in which they did the lashes were very cute and clean. I believe my lash tech's name was Zoe. I told her that this was my FIRST time getting lash extensions and she was pretty nice and understanding. I wanted a natural cat eye look and I think she did a good job. The final product was a littleeee bit more than I intended (because, again, this was my first time getting lashes done so I didn't want it to be too much). However, I still think they were on the more "natural" side, and they looked cute! I got them done on the 17th of March, and it's April 1st and they're still on for the most part. My left eye is fully the same, but the lashes on my right eye have started to fall off a little, which has been botheringggg me LOL. But what can I say. Overall it was a nice experience for my first time. The whole process took about 20-30 minutes total. Thank you Zoe!

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT waste your money nor time here. First: The nail technicians were incompetent and did not know how to take off my dip powder manicure. The man who started my nails left me to soak in nail polish remover (which is not the way to remove dip powder) and without addressing me, started working on another customers pedicure, I had to ask for someone to take it off. When I asked for a regular manicure I was approached twice by the same person as to why JUST wanted that, pressuring me to get a gel manicure, or my eyebrows done. Half way through the woman TOLD me to pay and gave me a dirty look when I pulled out a card (I wasn't are that it was cash only). By the way, the woman yanked at my cuticles without any oil or lotion. After the horrible removing experience I wanted to wait to see how she painted before tipping and before she finished the nail technician rudely asked "are you going to tip me?" through her mask. I told her that I had every intention to before I leave but I wanted to see how she finished me. Visually pissed off the nail technician sent me to the dryer and shoved my hand into the dryer messing up two of my nails, and when she went to fix them- she yelled out loud and told me that "I" had to be more careful. While fixing the nail, she hastily opened the nail polish bottle and spilled nail polish on my pants and the floor. Needless to say, I walked out. And I will never be back. PS. I know this is long but from other reviews I feel like I don't have to mention how dirty and unkept the salon is. I didn't see any technician using sterilized materials. Very uncomfortable place to be.

top of the ring and pinky fingers are slanted and not filed straight. middle finer doesn't even resemble a coffin shape.

Vicky did my nails and consistently caught an attitude and was getting irritated because I kept asking her to fix the shape. the top of four of my nails are slanted and the middle finger doesn't even look like a coffin shape. Apart from the fact that she was getting irritated she definitely rushed through the shaping of it. I think this nail salon is The best option available in Canarsie so if you need trendy nail designs and can't travel too far, I would definitely just recommend going to someone else and NOT Vicky.

This salon has sneaky business practices....the nail tech named MAy never once asked if I wanted acrylic or gel she assumed I wanted gel no questions asked...& once I corrected her she began doing my nails so sloppy I asked her to correct a few of my nails & she barely wanted to do that...they are rude to you if you don't want to purchase high priced designs...MAy continued doing my nails but was looking all over the place instead of focusing on getting my set done...never coming back here...then I watched other nail techs lie to customers & tell them they only have builder gel so the customers can pay more money.

M Nail Bar & Lash was recommended by a few friends so I tried it. The first time I went I was impressed with the ambiance and the aesthetics. My pedicure was amazing and I had no complaints. I got my nails done and it was fair as the tech appeared tense as well as rushed. This was an "ehhhh" on the first visit. The second experience was MUCH better. My nails were done by Star, who was incredibly pleasant, professional, and clearly very talented. She took her time and her experience really showed in the quality of her work. I was very pleased with how my nails turned out and will definitely be returning to see her again. Highly recommend asking for Star! I believe this salon needs more techs like Star. The customer service can be better if they spoke more to the customers and was more engaging. Also, they need to figure out a way of letting people know when they are eligible for a free drink without having to ask for it. Also why is the front desk receptionist so unfriendly both on the phone and in person? There are several other areas they should be focusing on to make the visit even more pleasurable.

Unfortunately, that's where the convenience ended. We arrived on time for our 11:45 AM appointment for a pedicure and Gel-X full set. My daughter was taken right away for her pedicure, which took about 25 minutes. After that, she was told to sit and wait for her nail appointment. Thirty minutes later, no one had even started her nails. When I asked what was going on, I explained that we were on a tight schedule because my daughter had a hair appointment afterward for her prom. I was told that all the technicians were busy and that walk-in customers were taking longer than expected. So apparently walk-ins take priority over customers with appointments. What bothered me most wasn't even the delay--it was the complete lack of concern. Not one person apologized or acknowledged that our time was being wasted. Had it not been my daughter's prom day, we would have left. If appointments don't matter and walk-ins come first, what's the point of scheduling? Based on this experience and the lack of customer service, I won't be returning.

Both the…read morelash tech & the master lash tech, who are sisters, are very talented & skilled at what they do. I received many compliments on my lashes over the years, which is why I remained a loyal client for so long. I also want to acknowledge that the salon itself is beautiful. The space is clean, well-maintained, & thoughtfully decorated. The atmosphere is relaxing, the blankets are comfortable, & I appreciated the Christian music and R&B that often played during appointments. It was easy to relax & even fall asleep while getting my lashes done. One issue I experienced involved excessive lash fallout shortly after an appointment. When I brought it to their attention, I felt there was an initial attempt to place the blame on me. During that same situation, I was encouraged to book a full set despite having recently received one & was asked to return the following day to complete the service. While the issue was eventually resolved professionally, the experience left me feeling frustrated & undervalued as a client. Over time, I realized that something always felt off in the overall client experience. I'm not expecting friendship from someone providing a service, but with personal services like lashes, waxing, nails, or massages, clients naturally develop a level of comfort & familiarity. Although there were moments where they were kind, I often felt more tolerated than genuinely appreciated despite my continued support of the business. There were also several moments where communication & rescheduling felt unnecessarily difficult. One interaction that stood out was being placed on hold for over 15 minutes. While on hold, I called from another number & the call was answered immediately. The reaction once realizing it was me made the interaction feel uncomfortable. I also invited them to participate in a volunteer empowerment event for young girls because I believed they could be positive role models & demonstrate what entrepreneurship & success in the community can look like. I viewed it as an opportunity to give back & encourage young girls to see successful women who looked like them pursuing their goals & building businesses of their own. While I fully respect everyone's right to value their time & services, a last-minute disagreement regarding compensation ultimately led us to withdraw the invitation. The situation reinforced some of the concerns I already had regarding communication & professionalism. Looking back, I realize I focused heavily on the quality of the work while overlooking how the overall experience made me feel as a client. The lashes were beautiful, & I still believe both women are highly skilled. However, over time I learned that talent alone is not enough for me personally. Professionalism, communication, & making clients feel genuinely welcomed matter just as much as the final result. If your priority is solely the lash work itself, you may have a positive experience. I can only speak honestly about my own experience as a long-term client.
