The worse part about finding a nail salon you like is having to find another because your favorite nail techs leave and sadly that has been my experience throughout the years. My first time at this salon I did not care for the service or experience because I felt my pedicure was rushed and the guy that did my nails was rough, however the complimentary drink stole my heart. I decided to give another go of it and booked with SOFIA. Sofia is amazing! I always get compliments for my nails; Sofia does not miss a beat. Danny does my pedicure and he is amazing as well. Everyone is really nice and friendly. The staff is professional and the price is reasonable. I have been to nail salons all over and appreciate the location of this nail salon in my neighborhood. My daughter in I are Bubble Tea Queens, so the drinks are the added perfect touch. The staff who make them take their time and delivery is restaurant worthy. I usually avoid places that feel overhyped or everywhere, but I trusted my instinct with this one and I'm so glad I did. Now I don't go anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, the energy feels like a little oasis. Spa-like, calm, and intentional. The decor, the soft lighting, the gentle music, the overall ambiance, even the check-in process feels seamless. The points system and easy check-in are such a plus. Like with any service spot, once you find your person, that's your person. No one is perfect, but everyone genuinely tries, and that matters. I always forget to ask her name, but shoutout to my cute front desk friend with the long hair and tattoos. I adore her. She's always so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Alex did my nails multiple times and they came out beautiful. Even though he may seem a little cold and stand offish, he does amazing designs. I've had others do my nails here and no one does it like him. The guy that gives out the free drinks is a sweetheart as well. He always makes my drinks the way I like it. The decoration is beautiful and the wait is not too long if you come on a week day. The nail techs work fast. They have an ATM in the back. Tried this salon for the first time and it's probably going to be my regular spot. It's HUGE, and you get a complimentary drink with any service $65 or more. The price is great especially for everything I did, and my tech did it all pretty quickly ($95 full brisa gel set + designs). My regular pedicure was good ($45) but that's average for gel. I'm sad because my toes came out fine but she really didn't do a great job on my finger nails. She cut off the tips of my nails so that the meat was showing and then nicked me on my cuticle. You really have to be careful who you get at the salon. I would hope that if i am sitting in someone's chair I wouldn't have to worry about bleeding. read more

The Instagram hype is real!!! Came here with my mom as walk ins (it was difficult to get an appointment via telephone). No issue as we were seen right away. The check in system was easy to understand.'I love that you accumulate points towards money off. A ticket is printed and your name is called. Upon entry we could feel the first class experience. The space is grand, clean and beautifully decorated. Felt very upscale with reasonable prices. I opted for a gel pedicure. This is the best pedicure I've ever gotten in my life. The time attention and skill was magnificent. My mom got her nails and feet done. She enjoyed her experience as well. Love this GEM!!! They do it all here nails lashes wax the works. I went in specifically for nail art but I was due for a pedi so I did it, an $80 pedicure . the pedi guy was cool until he started grating the TOP and SIDES of my feet! he was definitely bugging. I was charged $35 for a design that looked aweful! the nail tech was rushing the whole time. the most important part was failed! they only take pics of the REALLY GOOD ones & "Free" Drinks aren't actually free when you see the price at the end! It was an alright experience- not great, and definetly not amazing; reminiscent of any regular nail salon just with a 'complementary' drink (if you spend more that $35+). I booked my appointment in advance and was on time. When walking in you check in at a tablet at the front desk area. Just to be clear on the price I knew to ask the front desk person for clarification- she explained that the service I wanted would be a gel builder full set [$65] with design (french tip chrome [$20]- like in the inspo photo); she told me that I can discuss my design and pricing with my nail tech which I guess I shouldn't have done and clarified right there since during my set there would be a bit of back and forth on accomplishing the look I wanted and ultimately the price changing from what I was expecting. The pedicure bath was great - the first person I had who did the foot bath, and callous removal was great - just one thing that was iffy about the cleanliness of the tools (washing them and putting them back on the cart- i would like to think metal items would be sanitized with special equipment and pumice stones are single use ?). When it came to the design thats where the issues came in. A new nail tech came in [Danny] and I explained that I wanted the same look as in my inspo look, but in brown/"chocolate." Initially it seemed like they understood my request so i sat back and relaxed. But when it came time to do the accent nail/chrome thats where things became an issue. I kept on getting told that the look they provided is what I had shown them from the inspo- which is great, but let's just do it : BROWN/chocolate (not orange chrome). I ultimately had to forgo the accent nail i wanted and go with something entirely else/simpler. Since the color was off [orange] and in my opinion it looked weird- but truthfully i think I would've stayed with the design if the color was brown chrome; I would like to mention- during that process of getting the design, everyone who worked there seemed to chip in their advice on how to accomplish it/color, and I felt at the end there may have been some frustration with my nail tech maybe possibly due to removing his attempts/ the time it took to do the nails/ me insisting on my vision and requesting something i wanted... the end product for my toes were okay, a simple thin chrome french tip with NO design; the front desk woman (who i believe is the manager) took over ultimately to spare us both, and I moved on to my manicure. My manicure was done by Son, he was very patient with my request/ inspo pic and my AGAIN request to just make it BROWN/chocolate in color. He began cutting and filing and shaping my natural nail; he was quick with the builder gel and I voiced that it was too thick/bubbly for my liking. I went under the light and felt the dreaded 'burn' He and another woman/person working there reassured me the bulkiness would be filed down- so i trusted that and allowed him to work. I explained that i wanted accent nails on my ring finger and thumb and he went with the gel color i chose as a base; my worry was building at this point because, the color i chose compared to how it was coming out was very different- Son reassured me and said it just needed a couple more coats and it would look like the demo nail color, which was the case. He did forget my accent nail request on my right hand, which wasn't too much of an issue for me, However, I kept telling him that i wanted the color to the edges and he said he would come back and get to it, so i said okay and allowed him to continue on. At this point/for me it looked like my nails had a thick bubble of nail polish; i was hoping that bringing the color to the entirety of the nail plate would atleast help make the builder gel layer not look so bulky or be a bit more seamless. However, I allowed him to continue, believing/hoping that this shape/look would come together yet not being to complacent and constantly requesting that the base color be placed on the edges just to have him reassure me he would get to it....as he simultaneously was working on to the accent nails. It was visible to me that now he was working fast and i asked what time they were closing (which i believe has to be the reason why my nails were going this way) While working on the accent nails he gave me his reccomendation to do my chrome french, a gold color to make it pop (which again i knew I didn't want) i voiced that the chrome on my hands should atleast match the ones on my toes. I let him show me what the gold looked like, and i did not like it -which he did not give me any grief about and just went searching for the chrome color on my toes. However: when he brought back the chrome i was surpised because he did NOT bring back the chrone color on my toes but instead a chocolate chrome [i.e. the color i wanted the entire time!!!]. I was finally pleased by this one shade/thing; but that was short lived as now the manager came to do payment with me. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Go somewhere else. I do my nails without fail every 3 weeks- at different places around the world so I've had my fare share of bad nail experiences, and im not one to complain much- but honestly this was definitely one of the worst. The aesthetic of the place is nice. And they do give free drink. But that's as far as the good aspects of it goes. My nail tech was off putting. Not accommodating at all. I decided to let that go and just get it over and done with. I walked out and my gel nail immediately started chipping. Walked back in and they got someone to fix it. At that point I had been there for 2h already and explained that I had to go. They said there is nothing else they can do and I just have to sit through a redo- no option of a comp or refund. Might as well have kept the original cause it was pretty much the same. The new tech was probably worse than my original, and my design is pretty straight forward. I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. After visiting this salon, I developed a fungal infection that I did not have before my appointment. This happened shortly after my service, and the only new exposure I had was this salon. Cleanliness and sanitation are extremely important in any salon, and unfortunately, my experience raises serious concerns. Tools, stations, or foot baths may not have been properly disinfected, which can easily lead to infections like this. Dealing with a fungal infection is uncomfortable, stressful, and requires medical treatment, which no customer should have to go through after a beauty service. I would strongly advise anyone considering this salon to be cautious and ask detailed questions about their sanitation practices before booking. I personally will not be returning and wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. read more

Male did my pedicure. Kept trying to pressure me to get a design as if the money I was already spending wasn't good enough. Cut the hell out of my skin while trying to cut my cuticles. The picture I'm posting is how my polish looked as he jumped to the next chair to help another customer, extremely wrinkled. I had to force him to fix it AND i had to ask him to put some lotion on my feet. He was super rough with my feet moving them all kind of ways. After all that the receptionist walks away 3 times as i was trying to pay having me wait about 7 mins until the person who did my pedi had to come close me out. They gave me back my change and I asked where's the rest and she had the nerve to say "we usually just round up". I had to force her to give me back my change. Lastly the Taro was TERRIBLE. I'm sick of these Asian people coming to the hood and being disrespectful to the very people who are keeping their business alive. read more

I received a pedicure and the experience was horrible the lady with the blonde green is hair wasn't attentive she rushed the entire process. I had to tell her to make my toe nails even. Then I told her I wanted the 70 dollar spa she gave me the 35 dollar one when I told her that she not doing what I asked she said it was too late and started to paint my toes and walked off and went to another client and never off to put my feet under the dryer because I didn't get gel so I needed to dry.
