I'm not sure how anyone could rate this place less than 5 stars. From the outside it looked cool. Then when I walked inside the initial host was seriously a totally great young man for my entering. Then since I was alone, I sat at the bar table and the waitress was totally perfect the whole time. The food I got was seriously perfect for real. I've never been in this area in my life but if I am ever back in this part of the country, I will definitely stop here again.

I thought this was a Mexican place for some reason, but it is a sports bar. They were really busy but we were seated right away. Our server came quickly and took and delivered our drink orders. We ordered the shrimp app. I cannot remember what it was called but they had a sweet and spicy glaze. They were cooked perfectly and there was plenty for 2. I chose the Philly cheese steak with tots. The meat was real steak. Not the thin processed stuff you get some places. There were plenty of onions but no peppers or mushrooms so they missed it there. The cheese was provolone and there was plenty. Tots can be tricky. These were perfectly crisp and not mushy so they did a good job with that. The server was very friendly and got everything right, however I think they were very understaffed. We could see our server constantly but she had a lot of tables and did not get to our table often. This appeared to be a management issue. It did keep us in the restaurant longer than needed.

We arrived a few minutes before 7pm which is when happy hour ends. Our waitress didn't come to our table til after 7 so we missed happy hour. The reviews weren't the best so I didn't have high hopes but the food was really good. Steamed Shrimp - 9/10 Fresh shrimp. The Buffalo dipping sauce was tasty. Lemon Pepper Wings - 5/10 I like that they were fried hard but the seasoning didn't stick. It tasted like I was just eating unseasoned chicken. Rib Dinner - 10/10 The rib meat was so tender it fell right off the bone. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth.

Go elsewhere. Food is not worth the price. Service is hit or miss. Overall environment, lacks quality.

Our drinks arrived quickly, and the complimentary butter croissants were warm and delicious. We started with the spinach dip, which was phenomenal, along with the salsa that had just the right little kick to it. For my entrée, I ordered the meatloaf (without gravy) with broccoli casserole and green beans. Everything was cooked perfectly. The meatloaf was flavorful and moist, the green beans were seasoned just right, and the broccoli casserole was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and offered great value for the price. My brother ordered the fish and chips with steamed broccoli. His plate was piled high with food, and he said everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself was very clean, tables were bussed promptly, and even the restrooms were spotless. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

The anchor store is Sally's Cop Shop. There's plenty of free parking. Interior Pretty bare bones, but well lit and clean. The walls are adorned with the many awards won by Chef & Owner David Ouimet. Customer Service / Ease of Ordering Casey (sp?) was our server / cashier. She was warm and welcoming and had extensive knowledge of the menu (which is always appreciated). My lunch buddy was running late, so we chatted for quite a bit before he arrived and by the time I left, I felt like Casey and I were old friends. I sampled the soup-of-the-day during my wait, and it was so delicious that I just had to order a bowl. For some reason (eco? germs?), they don't have a hand-held menu and the writing on the chalkboard, though neat - is a bit 'curly' and condensed - so I struggled to read it. It didn't help that I had a whopper of a headache and was struggling with some neck pain - lol. They take phone orders and online orders via DoorDash, etc. When dining in, you order at the register, server brings food and handles refills, then you pay at register once you've finished dining. Food (see photos) I like that there's a good bit of diversity on the menu. I knew this was a farm-to-table spot so I was expecting a lot of fresh, delicious flavors and they did not disappoint: My lunch companion had the shrimp & grits and he loved the taste so much that he ordered a second entree to to take home for dinner. My lunch buddy also had the Alfredo pasta special with blackened chicken. They're an option for grilled chicken as well. I went with a burger with cheddar cheese added and the the soup-of-the-day (Tom Kha Gai). The soup is typically garnished with cilantro and green onions but I omitted it because I'm in the soapy cilantro camp. My burger was delicious. Cooked to the perfect temperature. Juicy. And super messy because of the black garlic aioli - but worth the mess. Lol. The burger comes with a side of house-made pickles - but I omitted those. My soup (pardon the bad photo) was oh-so-tasty. Lots of chicken and mushrooms. I was so happy about the soup because I was struggling with the side options. I don't like 'dark' potato chips and every housemade chip I'd ever had was dark. I don't love pork rinds and none of the other sides would really pair well with a burger (grits, pasta salad, potato salad, brussells sprouts slaw). Price / Value I think the prices are what one would expect based on this type of fare being served. Overall If I lived in town, this would definitely be a spot I'd hit up weekly for lunch. Amazing food and awesome customer service - what else can you ask for?!

I never…read morethought I find a better fast food burger and fires better than In-N-Out, but Five Guys is better. I am still trying to figure out if it is a good value, because this is not a cheap meal at all. Two bacon cheese burgers, two regular fries and two milkshakes, was almost $70.00. So yea, Five guys is great but is it $70.00 great? The wife and I ordered the same meal. Bacon Cheese Burger (all the way), regular fries, and milkshake. The burgers are double and huge and getting them all the way is the way to go. The fries are fresh greasy and yummy and OMG, they give you so much. The wife enjoyed her coffee milkshake, and I had to try (are you ready for this), their bacon milkshake because who doesn't love bacon. The Bacon milkshake isn't vanilla ice cream with some fake bacon flavor in it. No sir, it is vanilla ice cream with real bacon, miked in. Yea, this is something new, different and good. So after writing this review I have come to the conclusion that $70.00 Burger and fry meal for two is worth it at Five Guys. After all you get what you pay for.

With the mixed reviews, we knew were were in for a great meal or a bad one, we were not expecting anything in between. It clearly leaned toward the later. The cleanliness of the dishes were hit in miss. You could pick up a plate or fork and it would have dried food on and so you go get another. The restaurant itself is very large and looks really nice. We were very happy with the service provided to us. The best thing on the menu was the fried pork chop, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes. OK as long as she's had plenty of sauce, but I didn't see the fried ribs they were talking about that I was looking forward to trying. The fried shrimp was popcorn shrimp and wasn't great and they didn't offer fish this night or at least we didn't see it. Most if not all the vegetables were cold and had little flavor. The worst dish by far was the fried Okra. One bite and I was done From the dessert bar I enjoyed the banana pudding and had two helpings. The wife thought the pecan pie was pretty good. She absolutely hated the lemon meringue pie which was grainy in texture an overly sweet. And both of us thought the coconut cream pie was not good at all. Again if you're a big eater and you like quantity and lots of options, this place is perfect for you but for us it's not a good deal.
