I'm surprised this location of BDubs doesn't have better reviews. I went on Friday night after my granddaughters' high school graduation. We actually drove around a lot but everything was closed. We were told they could not give us a wait time to be sat because it depended on when people left. That was disappointing but we were so hungry lol that we waited. It ended up being about 25-30 minutes and surprising since we expected longer. While I was waiting, I went to the restroom. I don't usually review the bathrooms, but I did notice it was pretty clean. I then asked a young lady if she could give me a glass of water since I was so thirsty. Right away she answered absolutely and gave me a cup with cold water that felt like heaven. I also asked her where we were in line for sitting and she indicated we were next. I found out later her name is Cam. Shout out to Cam - to her managers': this young lady is so nice and welcoming! Our server was Tran I believe her name is. She was also very welcoming and patient as we sorted through what we wanted to eat and drink. The food came out pretty quickly. On Monday of this week my family and I went out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. Since it was a Monday, we know it would be a little bit slower than usual. Once we walked in, we could hear one costumer that was cheering on a game pretty loudly. But after hearing that we were seated fairly quick. Their menu has a wide variety of things from burgers to wings and many different sauces for the wings. The server greeted us very nicely and quickly got our orders in and brought perfectly filled and cold drinks. My mom and I got onion rings to share that was around $8, the onions rings were amazing they were perfectly fried and at a good temperature. Then, I got the 20 boneless wings which was about $18 I would have to say they were pretty good, but the wings were a bit dry but still good. Finally, I got a dessert which I think it's called The Cookie skillet, this was amazing the cookie was freshly baked with a scoop of Ice cream on top to help cool off the cookie. I 100% recommend getting The Cookie Skillet. Finally, the service was amazing the server never let me and my families' drinks go empty. Yes it's a chain but I love knowing what to expect, especially at this location. Our waitress was attentive and really friendly. She helped my use my points for a free appetizer and had our drinks more than full the entire time. We sat on the porch and were alone for most of the evening during perfect weather. The appetizer was a chip and dip trio. Honestly the best appetizer I've ever had at BWW. My best friend got boneless barbecue wings and fries. I had bone-in wings with dry lemon pepper and spicy garlic sauce. They were cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce. The total bill was really reasonable and we had a great time. On 01-01-21 at 11:30pm my family and I ate at this establishment and had a waitress named Paisley. To start with she was polite and consistent about our table. After about 20minutes she began to neglect our table and any time we saw her through the window since we were sitting outside she was gossiping to one of her coworkers and was on her phone. When she finally came back after 30minutes she was still gossiping to her coworker right next to my family and I as we were all trying to enjoy the game and time together. If you go to this establishment I would suggest asking not to have paisley as your waitress. Also I would not sit outside unless you would like to deal with the rats that are out there. I don't often frequent chain restaurants. But, I had some friends from Germany visiting and I thought this restaurant doesn't get any more American, so I brought the Germans. Before we went to Buffalo Wild Wings I checked Yelp. There was one review and it had one star. I have to say that our experience mimicked the other person's experience. We got there around 1PM, so the lunch rush was over. It took a really long time for us to get our beer and even longer, maybe 35 to 40 minutes to get our food. The food was cold and no one ever checked on us to see how the food was. In fact, I saw the waitress look round the corner and when I tried to waive her down the turned around as if she hadn't seen me. The waitress told us she was new, and we could tell she was struggling. I tried so hard to be nice to her. What bothered me most is that there were SO many servers and no one helped her. There was no team atmosphere in this place. Very few patrons, many many staff memebers, patrons hungry, staff memebers standing around doing nothing. I spoke to the manger as we were leaving. He was sitting at the bar, not drinking, but not working either. I told him that our experience was really disappointing. I told him I wasn't expecting him to take anything off of our check, but that he needed to seriously look at the service. He didn't offer to fix anything, nor did he ask which table I was sitting at or who our server was. This place sucked. Don't go. If i could give this play zero stars I would do so. Service is absolutely horrible and prices for beer/food is about 30 percent higher than other spots in area. We arrive at bww and pick a table in the bar area. There must be 12 waitresses working, yet no one even acknowledges our existence for 10 minutes. Eventually my wife has to flag down the manager just to get someone over to take drink orders. A pint of Stella is $7. This isn't bad for Atlanta or Charlotte, but that prix is pretty outrageous for Brunswick. We went to a bar later that had good beers for $4-5, which is far more reasonable. Another issue: so Alabama was playing a no name team and winning literally 55-7 late in the 4th quarter. There were NO bama fans in the bar, yet that game (and audio) remained on the big screen even during a very close Michigan state vs Ohio state top 10 matchup. I get we are in the south, so maybe play an sec game? Ole miss was playing LSU at the same time so that would have been an option too. The wings here a hefty and meaty. I love the huge selection of flavors and the wings are very tasty. The service is slow at times and the fun games are always a nice touch. The issue here is spotty service and slow cook times. I would go back and see if this has improved. So for now 3 stars until I see some improvements. read more
