    Bacon cheddar burger
    Alec B.

Amazing burgers!! Thick patty that was cooked perfectly. Bacon cheddar cheese and bbq sauce made for a wicked combination. Asked for the fries extra crispy and they were perfect as well. The chicken quesadilla was delicious with a ton of meat, could have used some hot sauce to really bring it over the top. Service was great, place should have better reviews than what is shown. Definitely recommend!!

Five of us came here after church today and had a wonderful meal. We were seated quickly despite them being very busy. Our waiter was great and took good care of us. It was very loud so I didn't catch his name. Three people had a chicken Caesar salad, one had a pizza and I had " the special " which was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Wow, a huge plate of food and it was all delicious. No boxed potatoes here folks, they are the real deal! Casual place , lots of noise, but we enjoyed the food and our visit.

Came in yesterday evening for dinner for the first time with family and we had a nice experience. Our waiter was friendly and the place despite being busy, we were seated right away! The restaurant has some arcade games for the kiddos to play to keep them busy, which is nice as well. Now onto the food, my step mother ordered a glass of wine and found lipstick on her wine glass when they brought it out. A bit gross, but they replaced it immediately when she brought it to the waiter's attention. She ordered their Caesar salad with fresh catch salmon and enjoyed it! I split the Brogen's Standard pizza without mushrooms with my father and 17 month old and man it was delicious! They butter the pizza dough, giving it that extra flavor and it's the kind of just the right amount of greasy, extra cheesy pizza you wanna eat. I would definitely recommend stopping in and trying out this place for yourself, I for one will be back to try more items on their menu!

My sons TWO onion rings. Fifty cents a ring. What a joke!

Awful experience tonight. We called in our order to a rude, know it all kind of guy. He tried tacking on extra charges. The menu online says all of the kids meals come with either fries, onion rings or cole slaw. We ordered one kid's chicken fingers meal with onion rings. He charged us an extra dollar for the onion rings. Whatever but when we got home we saw that we received TWO onion rings with that meal. Yes TWO! We also ordered a kid's quesadilla with fries. He tried charging us $3 for the fries. When I questioned him he said he would take off the charge but there was a typo on the menu and a side shouldn't come with the quesadilla. When we got home we found out that the fries were burned. They were inedible. The pizza was good but we were charged $3 for a side of ranch. I do not recommend this place!

Medium rare bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries!

Ordered pick-up from this local pizzeria located in a roadside shopping center on St Simons island…read more They do not offer delivery so I had to pick it up and it was close to my hotel. I placed a pick-up order for a large 16 inch sausage pizza and an order of 12 mild buffalo wings. The employee on the phone said it would be about 45 minutes and upon arriving, I noted that the business did a brisk sit down and carry-out service on a Friday night. The business has a walk up window to pick up carry out orders bc the interior is small but if the person who is working the window/ counter/ cash register is busy/ distracted it can take a few to get their attention. The young lady who took my order advised that my order should be up soon and I ended up waiting closer to an hour. When I got my food, everything was well packaged and prepared. They also gave me plates for my hotel room. Upon getting the food to our room, my wife and I dug in. The pizza was thin and crispy with sliced sausage and a nice pizza sauce that had a great flavor. The wings were crispy and well sauced. Their ranch is thick, flavorful and perfect for dipping wings in. I am pretty sure the ranch is house made. So glad we asked for extra ranch. We had enough for left over the next day and the food was just as good cold the next day. Good option for a pickup to go meal after a long day.

In Dante's Divine Comedy the inscription above the entrance to Hell is translated as "Abandon all…read morehope, ye who enter." Seems like a fitting transom for V's Pizza SSI. First, I blame myself. I have written reviews of this restaurant twice (last was 2021) with negative results. Friends wanted to go, and while I should have spoken truth in the face of optimism I did not. I became complicit in the single most negative SSI restaurant experience of 3 different families spanning over a decade of residence. I want to point out that I do not blame the staff. They had one person taking orders, one person making pizza and one person tending bar. Their attitudes were similar to a person who has reached the end of their rope with no support from the people who actually profit from owning the business. They were doomed from the onset. Our Odyssey (nod to Homer - similar length experiences) began at 6pm. There was one other group of 4, otherwise the place was empty. 3 families (9 total adults/kids) ordered a total of 6 pizzas. If you have been to V's before you know that the pizza is 13" and over priced like bottled water at the airport. Come to think of it, eating here was very similar to ordering food at the airport with similar customer service. We received food in such a ramshackle fashion, and behind others who ordered behind us, that I actually considered whether this place utilized a food lottery and just failed to notify the suckers who braved the fiery cauldrons of souls burning in hot pitch. I have said I do not blame the staff. While I do not blame them, I recognize that they did nothing to actually alleviate the situation, such as stop taking pick up orders when 10 tables in the restaurant had been waiting on dine in orders for or 1.5 hours. This might be enough to write about....hold on. The quality of the food....dear sweet lord the quality of the food. Have you had wet pizza? As you read that, do you consider what it means? Imagine a pizza Dominos, Pizza Hut, whatever. It is sitting in a light down pour over the very center of the pizza to where on the outside the cheese is melted and the crust looks right. Then, you pick it up and the center falls away like a piece of Wonder bread dissolved in a glass of water. No. it is not appetizing. The word moist springs to mind and nobody likes that word. On the positive side I appreciated the Stromboli I ordered, I just can't wait to take it home and finish cooking it. 2.5 hours later we wanted to leave. We cancelled the items we had not received yet and left with the realization that although there is no need for a Blockbuster video anymore at that location, it would have been preferable to V's Pizza in 2024.

We made an online order for two pizzas to be charged separately . when we arrived to pick up the pizzas, they rang both orders on the same card and the second order charged for two pizzas. So essentially we paid for three pizzas on one card. We didn't realize this until we got home with our pizza. We called immediatel, but they couldn't find where they had charged our card. What?! so the next day we went there with our receipt and they still didn't understand what we were trying to explain and couldn't find the order on their computer. They wouldn't give us the overcharged amount but instead gave us a card on which they wrote Free large pizza. The overcharge was for the amount of a specialty pizza., $27.--. Tonight we ordered online once more and ordered our 'free' pizza. we ordered a specialty pizza like before. When we picked it up and gave them our free pizza card they said it was only good for a cheese pizza and charged us extra for each of the toppings that were included in the specialty pizza which came to $12.95. So not only did we get overcharged the first time but we got cheated again the second time. Needless to say we won't be back. This is not customer service.

The restaurant is large enough with good bar space and two dining sections. Overall it gives a nice quaint ambience with a big wood fired oven in view from the bar. I ordered an Old Forester well bourbon on the rocks and my wife ordered a glass of red wine. We followed up later with the second round. We enjoyed our drinks and chose to try a handful of items off the happy hour menu. We started with the brie, the chef's choice tacos, the oven roasted olives, and the Caesar salad. Everything had a wood fired flare. The oven roasted olives were a nice order meaty and oven hot. The Brie was wood fired melted with a side of house jam and what I would call a ciabatta roll. It was my favorite. Again very good. The chef choice tacos were beef and came as an order of 2 small but tasty tacos. We shared the Caesar salad which had a nice smoky flavor with a tasty dressing and overall good. Everything was fine and definitely above average and would probably order those again. There's a pretzel and chicharrones also on the HH menu We ordered a Meatzilla Fire bread off the main menu which was tasty thin pizza. A little thin crust for me but everything was fresh and good quality. $1 charge for parmasian cheese. I would likely come back again to try some of the mainstay entrées, like scallops, bone-in pork chop and ribeye steak which looked a little pricey but again sometimes you get what you pay for. Looking forward to our next trip. I would definitely stop by and try the happy hour for excellent drinks and some tasty shareables and remarkably inexpensive drinks. We generally don't order dessert but tried the Eula May which was a sour dough pound cake. It was excellent. I would rate this restaurant at a 4.5, however, it is much better than many of the places I've tried in Brunswick or Saint Simons Island. I'd make a final rating once I try again and taste the entrees. The Yelp average of 4.2 is way too low for this place. I chose to give it a 5.0 rather than a 4.0. Definitely worth trying.
