Philly made the way my husband likes it
    Debra R.

Pretty good pick for a stop off of 95. The food was reasonable and very good. 5 stars for the food. I had a large Greek Salad. The dressing was excellent. My husband got a Philly and they prepared it well. He gets raw onions instead of grilled onions and peppers. His sandwich was excellent. I loved the Cole slaw but him not as much because it had less mayo. The waitress was efficient. It was a little chilly and the music from a nearby speaker caused us to change seats. There was another, very nice looking, room but it was closed. Probably because it was Memorial Day weekend and there were several tables of people outside. The entryway and bathrooms could have been cleaner but there were very nice flowers at the entrance. When I checked in on Yelp I received a 10% off coupon. A couple dollars is a couple dollars! We would stop there again when we come through.

Good food and great service at this dive bar! I've been here a few times for drinks, so this was my first time having a meal here and it did not disappoint. It seems like a spot locals love, especially for their themed nights: karaoke, bingo, trivia, etc. The first time I came here was over a year ago, during a fun karaoke night. I got a couple shots and cocktails which were strong and affordable. This time around I was greeted right away with a friendly smile and hello. It's self-seating and there's two sides to choose from, both having a bar section. They have a pretty good selection of food for a dive bar. The atmosphere is very casual. There are some tvs and a juke box. Some of the paint needs touching up in the entrance hallway, but the place is clean and comfortable. Here's what we ordered: -Lemon pepper pork rinds with queso dip: Really tasty! They were crispy and airy. The queso dip was warm and delicious. Great combo. -BYOBurger: Patty was cooked perfectly and tasted great! The buns were soft, and the veggies and pickle were fresh. I recommend adding cheese (extra charge). Hearty burger! The fries could have been crispier; they were average. -Mussels: Cooked perfectly, but the sauce could've used more garlic flavor. Plated really well and the side toast was yummy. -Chicken Finger Plate: Fried really well, and ranch dipping sauce was delicious. -Greek Salad: Fresh and flavorful! Really good! Our server Seaonna was awesome. Not only was she super friendly, but she also made small-talk and made sure to ask about refills. I'd definitely come back here for drinks and food again. I might try out their adult bingo night or do karaoke night again soon. Try this place out if you're in the area!

If you're looking for great food, awesome daily specials and fun, witty banter with bartenders- this is your spot!

Stopped in at OBX on a Friday night to grab a drink and watch a little basketball. The bar is split up into a smoking and non-smoking side. There's a pool table, dartboard, and it looks like they set up for cornhole on the patio when it's not raining. The bar tenders were nice and seemed to know most of the customers. They have a food menu and kitchen but I didn't try anything. Overall I enjoyed it, and would come back if in town again.

I had the best experience there. Eric was so helpful and allowed us to watch Bare Knuckle TV for bare knuckle boxing in the sports bar! We had the best time! The food was great, the bar tender and servers were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. Thank you outerbank bar!! The lumpia was amazing!!! We ordered the Woody as a wrap! It was so delicious!

I learned I'm very good at cornhole, exceptional at throwing hatchet and can't shoot pool to save my life. But nobody beats me at ping pong!!!! FROM A PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVE: So basically, this was a team building exercise by corporate to fuse together a diverse crowd from different counties. The facility itself is a great idea for group events. For us, bringing a variety of personal from assorted assignments together in a relaxed atmosphere for mind mapping purposes did yield a few useful ideas. Mostly it educated. We found that we still hung on to traditional gaming match-ups such as: Tim and Lisa vs. Stephanie and Greg. We quickly learned that Greg is useless at cornhole but excels at axe throwing. Lisa was the opposite. It's all Learning. Steven can't drink enough to keep up with Diana; Tim can shoot stick, Stephanie is the best dancer of anyone in the building. These morsels are telling and provide valuable data. We persevered by focusing our strengths on various problems in the equation. Thank you very much to the kind men and women of UC for your assistance and guidance. After our evals are submitted, I see you getting a lot more business. Cheers!

I am traveling within reasonable distances of my home to experience the flavors. For example, one establishment provided a Flight of 3 menu items before committing to eating one, which was enjoyable; however, their shepherd's pie was prepared with sweetness/sweetened rather than savory flavors, which didn't bode well for me. Today's adventurous goal was to experience "bangers and mash," as there appear to be a couple of variations of this dish made with either Guinness, Port wine, or beef stock. When typing Bangers and Mash into Yelp and Google Maps, this establishment was an option for consideration. I verified that the item was on the menu and read the reviews. Upon our arrival, we were greeted well and seated forthwith. We started to place our orders when I noticed that the food item I was seeking wasn't on the menu. When I inquired about the Bangers and Mash, I was told it was no longer available. Disappointed, I opted for the Shepherd's pie. While I couldn't obtain the item I hoped for, the experience wasn't bad. The shepherd's pie was well-made and presented well; a large portion is served in an individual cast-iron pan. The flavor profiles were quite good, very savory and rich. The flavor spectrum touched all of the sensory elements. I found it quite enjoyable. My journey continues.

Unfortunately, I'm not in the area that much, and only once did I make the journey just to come here. What is the draw, you may ask? Great beer, great food, great atmosphere, great vibes! , That said, every meal I have had here has been delicious. The beer is pretty darn good & cold too! Of course, with the long drive...ya gotta limit it. But it's worth it for anything on the menu. I don't know where to start food-wise, I am trying to eat my way around the menu. The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The menu offers a little something different. The atmosphere and vibe are always inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The prices are fair, portions are ample, and there is plenty of parking. The decor is fun too! Not to mention, they give a veteran discount with proof of ID. What more can you ask for? Well, I know what I can ask for! To the owners: pretty please, with sugar on top, consider opening a location in St. Augustine. Not in the downtown area, but the folks north of town need something; they need you! Around the Palencia & Kensington area, off US 1 to be exact...or anywhere nearby in that area. The folks there would love something they can walk to, ride bikes to, maybe even use a golf cart to get to...and yes, a short drive is good too. Jus' sayin'!
