    BOGO Pretzel
    Tim A.

Most of the food here is NOT Irish food. They removed the bangers and mashed, most items are burgers, wings or taco style food. They do have soft pretzels, fish and chips along with Shepard pie. That's about it. We started with the pretzels. They were BOGO so we each got one. They were hot and soft served with mustard and queso. Not beir cheese, queso. Big enough to fill a dinner plate. I ordered an iced tea. It was nasty, obviously old. I told the server and asked for water, she did not remove it from the table and after we paid i saw that she also did not take it off my bill. I ordered fish and chips for dinner. There were 2 huge pieces of fish, one would have been more than enough. They were perfectly cooked but not enough tartar sauce and the server did not come around while we were eating to get more. The fries were soft and"not hot". Everything we are was either exceptional or bad. The men's room was filthy. This always concerns me as to the cleanliness of the kitchen. I seldom give 2 stars. The great fish and pretzels deserved better than a 1 but the soggy fries, dirty bathroom and not taking the cost of old tea off the bill won't let me go to 3.

Cute place!! First we walked on and was greeted right away. We asked to be at where we could watch the game, and they couldn't put the game where they sat us so they moved us to where we could watch the game. The waitress came and took out drink orders and told us about the specials they had. We got pretzel with mustard and queso, it was a soft pretzel with the outside being crunchy- very good! I ordered Lieutenant Dan tacos. I wish it was a bit Spicer, but very good. All in all great visit.

The pretzel was grabbed before I could get a good picture. Served with cheese and mustard, the pretzel was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very good! I had the blue cheese burger with blue cheese, bacon and crispy onions. It was delicious!! Cooked medium, it had good burger flavor and blue cheese melted - mmmmmmm!! Our waitress checked on us often and gave us all a military discount.

Good basic "Irish" themed bar fare. Staff friendly. Concern - "B/87" rating... room for improvement. Reuben was good - lean and sliced thin! Bread pudding with ice cream for dessert.

When you find yourself in the St Mary's, GA / Fernandina Beach, FL vicinity and in need of some Irish pub time, this is the place. After a busy afternoon of running errands, we stopped in at the Wee Pub for some wee bites (and a wee dram of adult spirits). We were doubly delighted to discover it was also happy hour (3-6) pm. Havin' the luck o' the Irish on our side, we proceeded to order a couple o' pints and some food. We tried the beef taco combo (Irish grub is more diverse than ye might think), along with some Drunk Chicken (yes, it IS marinated in whisky), and both were delightful. If you are a fan of the Black & Tan, Wee Pub's version is wonderfully refreshing - 1/2 pint of Yeungling draft topped with a 1/2 pint o' Guiness Stout. Draft, of course, as the Maker intended it. Can't wait to come back! That classic Reuben sandwich is calling me...

She was pleasant, helpful and had a sense of humor. We started with the app sampler. Fries, onion rings, jalapeño poppers, mac and cheese bites and cheese sticks. There were a ton of fries so I suggest a different side with your meal. I had a burger called the blue nose with a side salad. 2 quarter pound burgers smashed together with blue cheese in the middle. The bun had a blue cheese sauce on it for added flavor. There were pickles on it. I think they actually took away from the rest of the burger. Next time I will order it without pickles, and I really like pickles, they just don't compliment the blue cheese. It seems wings are the big thing here. Next time we will try them.

We got in fairly close to opening, and got seated. 2 out of 3 tables were dirty that they seated us at. They stayed like that until we asked to have them wiped. We had to ask for utensils, napkins, etc after the food arrived. The server would drop off one thing for someone who asked for something that was missing and disappear faster than a blink before anyone could ask for something else that was missing. It was assumed the chicken sandwich was going to be a chicken breast or one larger sandwich sized piece since it came on a burger bun but it was multiple small strip so that was frustrating to eat they were mostly gristle so ate a cheese and lettuce sandwich with scraps of chicken. The cheese stick were your average mozzarella sticks but I was grateful for them and the grits were not bad. Only had one soft drink in the hour and half we were there, the refill never showed up after 2 attempts to request one. Wish the experience was better because it's the kind of atmosphere and location I would enjoy frequenting but this wasn't much different from my first experience here.

When I gave my order to the server, I specified how I was excited to try it because it was shaved, and he told me it was his favorite, but he could never finish it. Once I took a bite, all of those concerns were gone!
