From the first call…read moreasking to setup the consultation appointment, to my final post-op visit, the experience was nothing short of amazing! The staff are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and concerns throughout the entire process. I knew exactly what to expect going in and coming out of surgery thanks to them, and the surgery itself only took about 10 minutes. I've had fillings that were way worse! 0 pain or discomfort. I'd describe the surgery itself like a slightly more complex eye exam. I opted to go with lasik over PRK, after talking with Dr. Rose (who is absolutely outstanding) and I was seeing clearly just a few hours later! Never once did I feel pressured or under informed. I couldn't recommend these folks enough! I struggled with vision since the 5th grade, and for the first time in my life I can just wake up and see!!! To me that service is priceless and the fact they deliver it with such ease and professionalism is just awesome! Thanks so much TLC, what you do changes lives, I know it's changed mine!!

Im at day 3 and seeing better than ever. I asked many questions and they were all answered without any rush. I love how Dr. Kim was able to tell me about her personal experience with Lasik, it's always nice to get questions answered by someone who has had it. Dr. Shriver on surgery day was so calm and quick, definitely helped with anxiety. (If you're like me and do experience anxiety definitely let it be known, they were nice enough to prescribe an anxiety pill for the procedure.) Highly recommended, friendly staff. The LASIK Vision institute did my LASIK surgery a week ago. Dr. Varr and the entire team made the…read moreentire process so easy. I had terrible eyesight before the surgery and I have a neuromuscular disorder that can cause double vision. We decided to correct both eyes for distance rather than one for distance and one for reading due to my risk factors with double vision. I will continue to need reading glasses but in the week since the surgery, I have 20/20 vision for distance and I am beyond pleased with the result. I see better now than I have since 4th grade. The procedure itself was fast and relatively easy - I didn't love the procedure but Dr. Varr counted down each step of the way and it was fast. I do have greater light sensitivity but that should eventually fade. Overall, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great staff, good experience (I can't say great since I don't think anyone, including me, truly enjoys having their eyeball operated on), and exceptional eyesight. Do yourself a favor and get LASIK at the LASIK Vision Institute.

I had a disappointing and truly weird experience with this LASIK provider. The staff used high-pressure sales tactics, pushed a credit card I wasn't comfortable with, were wildly disorganized, and were unclear about scheduling and payment plans. The day of my surgery, they claimed I needed another eye exam--despite already having one during my initial consultation. They got me confused with another patient and the woman who worked there seemed like she was confused about everything happening around her. Wasn't feeling super confident at this point but I was already there and prepped. A minute before my surgery they suddenly decided I was no longer a LASIK candidate because of some major issue with my eye they doesn't seem to exist according my actual eye doctor and they didn't appear to see during my eye exam during the consultation. Weird? They recommended a different more expensive procedure instead. That was the final straw. I walked out and requested a refund for the deposit I already provided them. The overall experience was disorganized and sales-driven rather than patient-focused. I'm glad all of that happened actually because I didn't bother to look them up on BBB until after all this happened. Had I seen the BBB complaints before hand I would never have proceeded on the first place.

I don't have unrealistic ideals for how my experience should be anywhere but this place was disappointing, rude, and down right uncomfortable. My experience was so horrible I don't know where to begin! The office: was awkwardly set up, the equipment was archaic and I felt like I was walking into a scene from a horror movie when the Dr brought me into the exam room. The staff: there was one nice woman working. The other woman was short, rude, unfriendly with absolutely no charisma. She misquoted me for my contacts and was very rude to me about ordering through an online company. She made me feel cornered and borderline harassed by the way she handled the situation. The Dr is nice enough but he talks almost too fast to understand didn't ask any questions and I felt like cattle being shoved off to the slaughter house. He was just downright awkward and it was very uncomfortable. I have had bad experiences at various places over the course of my life but this is by far the worst.
