I've been going here since I was 10 years old! The staff is amazing and they truly are nice and genuine! If you are experiencing any financial hardship the doctors here will work with you to make sure you get what you need at a discounted price! I had to get new glasses cause mine were broken and I didn't have the money at the time to cover the expenses and Dr. Mann worked with me and allowed me to order glasses for the half the price! I don't recommend going to this location for your eye exam. They overcharge you for things they don't do. Pure thieves. My advice to you stay away as far as you can. If you have to go there make sure they charge you only the copay you're insurance allow . They always try to steal more than the copay . Call the insurance and report them. read more

The worst service ever. -5 stars Order glasses for my son March 2019 it's now July 2019 no glasses. I've spoken to 2 managers and I'm told glasses will be in the following week. No calls 1 month later I call them to check on status, and I found out it's was never ordered. The manager told me his ordering the glasses and they'll be in on The following Wednesday. I stop in 2 wks later still no glasses. Finally I've told it's will be expedited for next day. I didn't receive a call the next day so I call myself and I'm told the tech didn't have time to cut lenses... my child hasn't had his glasses for 3-4 months now. No one wants to explain to me why, nobody wants to take ownership of the mistake. Don't waste your time going there! read more

The location at waterford ct I really loved my examination the detailed specifics about my eyes.the doctor listened to my complaint which I have to mention the many other Eye centers I went to didn't. Made it so I could see close up and far away. The only complaint i would have are the prices WoW!!! I swear I was purchasing a small village in Nicaragua and with extra cows. I got glasses from them around a year ago for an exorbitant price and they've broken at least ten different times(I wasn't rough with them just putting them down would break something). The doctor was nice but the quality is awful and when I went in for a refund on them they made it as difficult as possible to get a new pair. read more

Wow-- I can't believe I'm the first to write a review of this magical place. I went because not only had my frames broken, but the lens had popped out. There was also a large scratch on the lens, but I wasn't expecting that to be fixed. Not only did the optician fix my glasses so they look good as new, he also magically made the scratch disappear. Walked out with a smile. I have been in need of a new pair of eyeglasses. But have been hesitant due to the high prices and the inability to make an appointment because of my busy work schedule. While I was running an errand I decided to just pop in and check out what I was in for. Well this is what I got. A wonderful greeting, prompt attention, help in making choices, a deal without even attempting to haggle and a second set free because they worked with my insurance. All within 20 minutes. Went to Pearle Vision for my annual exam. Dr. Mann is great. I needed a new prescription and they suggested just replacing the lenses in my existing glasses. $335!!!! later I had new lenses. When I checked out at the exam they said the lenses were $237 and the exam was $65, I thought that was a little high, but paid for the convenience of getting them done there and not having to go somewhere else. When I went to pick up the lenses I was charged another $101, when I asked what that was for they said the lenses were actually $338 (???). I complained that seemed extremely high just for lenses as my wife had gotten one complete pair of glasses at Pearle for $138, and two complete pairs at Cohen Vision for $360. I was told these lenses had the special "Pearle" coating (really???) Needless to say I will never buy eyeglasses at Pearle Vision in Waterford again. I'll get my eyes examined by Dr. Mann and take my prescription and go somewhere else for my glasses. read more

I am extremely disappointed. I was told that my glasses would be ready in one week. At the one week point I was told that the lenses had come in and my glasses would be ready in a couple of days. At the two week point I was told they would be in within a couple of days. 3 days later I was told that they wouldn't be ready for another week... That makes a total of THREE weeks! The reason given was that their tech had been out sick for a week and their backed up work had to be sent out. Not even a courtesy phone call explaining the delay. This place had been recommended because of their courteous service and timely delivery. I WILL NOT be recommending this facility to my friends. read more
