Three guys arrived and where very pleasant, one pulled out a monkey wrench, and in less than 2 minutes had my issue fixed. He very gracious said he wouldn't charge me a service fee but then turned around and charged me a $150 tool fee. That must have been some magical monkey wrench. I had a coupon too. That was $150 with a coupon. I have had some other issues with plumbing recently and have found some plumbers do not charge service fees or tool fees. They will give you quotes for service and not up-charge you like crazy. Do your research...ask for any hidden fees. Every plumber I have talked to I now ask, do you have a "tool fee" before scheduling and most of them don't even know what I'm talking about.

I originally reached out to them to install a smart toilet, and we agreed upon a quoted price of $350. They were scheduled to arrive between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, but they didn't show up until the very end of that window. Once they finally assessed the job, they immediately tried to tack on an additional $150, citing issues with my pipes and hinting that the total cost could easily rise even further. To make matters worse, they claimed they were completely unable to open the water meter cover, insisting that I would have to call the city to handle it. They even went as far as to claim they had tried everything, including prying it open with a crowbar. However, shortly after they left, my son arrived home, walked out to the meter, and opened it by hand with absolutely no effort. I decided to check my home security cameras, and the footage confirmed that they never even attempted to open the meter as they had claimed. It really felt like they simply didn't want to perform the work they had committed to, so they made up excuses to avoid it. I ended up hiring another plumbing company the very next day, and they were able to complete the entire project--including the additional pipe work and even cutting into the wall--for a total of just $400. The second company was transparent, efficient, and professional. I admit that I neglected to officially cancel my follow-up appointment with Jerrell's, but given how the initial situation was handled and the dishonesty regarding the water meter, I honestly didn't believe they would even show up again. I cannot recommend Jerrell's Plumbing Service based on this clear lack of transparency and professionalism, and I would advise others to look elsewhere for their plumbing needs.

We discovered a gas leak at the meter near the ground. We called Atmos (assuming they would fix at…read moreno charge - hahaha). Monday afternoon they removed the meter and said they would return with new one after we fixed the leak. So, no hot water, no heat, no gas stove (no hot shower). Started calling Plumbers Monday night and found a company that answered their phone and scheduled themselves to come out early Tuesday morning (fitting me into an already busy schedule). This company did it all! They pulled the city permit, dug up pipe, replaced pipe that had almost completely rusted thru and then tested the line. The test showed other leaks so they would have to come back (fit me in their schedule) to look for leak. They came back tuesday night and here until 7:30 pm. And back again next day. Found leaks in gas cook top, laundry room and one of the furnaces in the attic. They capped off all other future potential issues and then contacted city to come for inspection and worked with Atmos to come once we passed the inspection. All in all this company was excellent to work with, highly skilled, extremely thorough and great at communicating every step of the way! 10 or 10 from me!! It didn't even last a year before the heating element cracked... When I reached out, no one responded for a week, before I could get someone out to just come and access it. Upon inspection it was the heating element that had cracked. Rheem had them on back order, so Jeff's colleague, Antonio researched and found a replacement element, that was available the next day and made every effort to get our water heater repaired asap, before the weekend. Antonio is responsive, professional and helps in a timely manner. Jeff didn't respond for a week. We were without hot water for 10 days! The water heater never got to the set temperature of 129°, it would only get to 102°, which I don't feel sanitizes my dishes and clothes. Fast forward to less than 2 weeks later and the water heater stopped heating entirely again! I reached out to Jeff on Thursday (6/25) and still haven't heard a word from him. Thankfully, I have Antonio's contact info, as he actually is responsive and responds within minutes. My issue is I reported it not heating last Thursday, this go round, the part has to be ordered and they don't know how long it will be before it gets here. I call BS, as I ran a maintenance and construction company for 17yrs and I know all of the verbal jargon used by vendors to delay repairs/replacement of parts... I've heard them all... So we're on day 6 without hot water and no idea how much longer we're going to be without a hot shower, hot water to wash dishes or our clothes! So extremely frustrating! This consisted of pumping smoke from a $10 smoke bombs through the sewer system to find a leak. Toilet seals were leaking. Great! Problem solved, right? Wrong. After charging us $750 for the run around... the toilets were incorrectly reinstalled... wobbly and leaking. And the original problem of shower drain odor still exists.
