    I've used HERM twice this year. Once for car below floor and another for hydraulic hose/fluid…read morechange with a valve replacement. Both times they provided excellent service. The service tech was extremely knowledgeable and communicated well. And Dave the GM was very easy to work with. They provided a written quote for the work to be done and there were no surprises with the final bill. We have used other elevator companies in the past that were not as competent nor as transparent. Will definitely used them again.

If you had mentioned at that juncture that you would charge me $845 whether you repaired the elevator or not, I would have never engaged your company! FACT-Your advice to me was to get another repair company to do the job, with a steadfast refusal to return any of my payment. Your charge was way outside of reasonable when you consider your subcontractor was here for less than 1 hour, which is the total investment in this job for your company. He looked at different views of the rollers, and left with the elevator in the exact same condition as when he got there. You also recommended that I could consider directly contracting with your subcontractor to make repairs, but that it would have nothing to do with HERM-the deal would be between him and me, and that is not what I contracted for. sometimes in business you have to chalk up minor losses as a cost of doing business, but none of that has happened here...
