We have been in our home 30 years, and suffered many years with long bouts of no power due to no power from ice and downed trees during summer storms. We were referred to JMAC after my oxygen dependent mother moved in and we could not risk protecting her with her medical needs. JMAC was by far the most reasonable and reliable company of all of the companies that we contacted to purchase and install a whole house generator. About 6 years ago, JMAC installed a whole house generator for me. They continue to do its yearly maintenance. I am very happy that I chose this company. They are family owned and the employees are family members. They did a great job installing the generator. My house had issues due to mistakes by a previous electrician. They were able to figure out a solution and implement it. The father and both sons are so nice, meaning they work efficiently, they answer questions in a manner that doesn't make you feel like you are being a bother. We wanted a Generac stand by generator and found that Jamac installs them. My initial phone call made me feel at ease right away. They were very knowledgeable and had a process to get started. There was an initial visit to view our house and our needs to determine the size of generator we needed. Their price was what we anticipated. After signing the contract and making a deposit, the generator was ordered. Once it arrived, Jamac scheduled the installation. It took 5 hours to install and add the gas hookup. I bought my generator at Lowe's home improvement store and JAMAC installed it and has since maintained it from the time they installed it and I have been nothing but satisfied with everything they have done they provide top-notch service and it is always a pleasure to talk to Angela and the whole team at JAMAC. We are so happy with our generator and feel safe when a storm is approaching. Recently my mother in law was at my house in a hospital bed and it was a very hot, humid day and there were about 15 people in my house and for no apparent reason the power went out. Our generator saved the day and turned on in minutes and we were able to continuing caring for my mother in law using the hospital bed which has an electrical component to raise and lower the bed. We finally made the decision to buy some peace of mind and made an appointment with a local Generac dealer, JAMAC Electrical Contractors, to hear the project estimate. The discussions were productive and building permits were secured easily. Installation was timely and as quoted. Unit was professionally installed and we eliminated a previous smaller propane tank with the new larger tank that was installed.
