Since that time the elevator hs broken down 10 times. The fire department had to be called six times due to passengers stuck (today myself). The ooerator on the energency line for Slade told me there was one tech at another elevator across town and Id have to wait. After she hung up without providing ANY sense of assurance that the tech would come, nor offer to call the fire department, she stopped talking, hung up and diverted call backs to a voicemail. I had to call the firedepartment myself. As a member of my buildings board of directors, you can bet who is losing a service contract, and facing a law suit. Use this company at your residents peril when Slade is the service provider.

In the midst of putting up the first painting, he literally packed up his tool bag and left after I kindly requested him to move the positioning a quarter inch to the right since it wasn't centered on the wall. Literally no conversation at all except, "I don't want to do this job." When I called the main number, the dispatcher apologized for the worker's behavior and offered an alternative handy person to stop by 2 days later. I was literally left speechless by this level of unprofessionalism - especially when the person is being paid by the hour and not a flat fee. Appreciate that the dispatcher took responsibility and was apologetic, and not defensive at all. However, having planned for more than a week and having moved work commitments for this, it's not acceptable.
