    Salmon tacos
    Jennifer D.

My server, Eric, was outstanding!! After a less than stellar entry (no hostess, and 2 eye locking moments with the manager who did not come forward to seat me) Eric was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and very pleasant. I ordered the wedge salad and fish tacos, which were made with grilled salmon. The blue cheese dressing was outstanding, and the tacos...soooo good! The tortillas had the perfect level of char, and the salmon was tender and flavorful. The restaurant was fairly empty at 5:30, but that was great because it meant that it was quiet.

The vibe of this place was really good -- it definitely feels like a fun spot for a party or group gathering. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the energy of the space. I ordered the birria taco, and it was very very salty -- to the point where it was hard to fully enjoy. My husband ordered the Wellington, and that dish was actually good, so it seems like some menu items are stronger than others. The service was okay. Overall, it's probably a great place if you're going for drinks and a fun night out, but based on the food we had, I personally wouldn't go back.

This place claims to be "upscale Mexican," but it really feels more like a spot for social-media photos than quality food. We had a kid with us, and there was basically nothing on the menu for children, so I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids under 10. We were visiting from out of town and picked this for a birthday dinner, but it ended up feeling very underwhelming and overpriced. We had salmon entree. the salmon tasted good, but the rest of the entrée lacked flavor and wasn't cooked well. We ordered a few extra sides hoping they'd help, but honestly none of them were good. The steak street tacos were also disappointing; the steak was super fatty and full of gristle. The fish tacos were okay. The crisp tortilla appetizer was good, and the Playboy Bunny drink was actually pretty tasty. Service was slow. Apparently this place is a popular birthday spot. We were there for a spontaneous birthday dinner and didn't realize this was the go-to place for that kind of thing. Overall, it's not worth the hype unless you're just there to take pictures.

Let's start with the positives: We were seated right at our reservation time The murals are pretty The oysters Rockefeller were delicious... we had 18 The Mr Bubbles was tasty. The hallway to the bathroom is beautiful Now.. The surf and turf- all the vegetables, including the mashed potatoes were cold & undercooked. The 24k gold wrapped steak was over cooked.... Wasn't asked the temp preference either. We sent it back- it wasn't edible The street tacos- steak... i think we very specific- NO CILANTRO. It was brought out with all the cilantro i reminded the waiter... I was very clear. It took them another 10 minutes to remake it. The tortillas were a little dry. The meat was seasoned well. That's about all The sushi was just ok. It was missing something. We were the first table to be sat. Another woman came in after us. It still took 45 minutes to get our order and first appetizers. The service is quite slow. Overall the experience was very different from our first experience. It made it a very disappointing time, and for the drive it was quite challenging.

Tostadas Prime in Santa Clara was such a great experience. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well made. Everything came out looking good and tasting even better the flavors were on point and the portions were solid. Service was also really friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even better. If you're in the area and want a good spot for Mexican food and drinks, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Great place for big groups. Came here for a team dinner as a big group and they accommodated our preferences. We did tapas style. Al pastor was interesting! I did find the sides of the meat a little burnt, but overall it was well done with caramelized pineapples on the side. Ceviche was decent. The complementary chips and salsa were great! Thin, crispy purple corn chips, and flavorful vegan salsa

    Ceviche mixto and seafood enchiladas

The vibe of Tostadas prime was nothing short of amazing. The foods from what I had tasted great, and that also translates to their alcoholic beverage as well. During the night I went they had a fire dance, and seeing that made my night as well because I've never seen that before. I had a ceviche mixto, and also tried their seafood enchiladas, and I recommend both dishes!

Visiting with a friend who loved the place so I had a glass of sparkling wine with a half dozen oysters ... excellent I like my oyster enjoyed the dressing simple and good .. I saved a mini bottle of Tabasco to take home ... then bone marrow... I've had better but this was ok and finished with Crème Brûlée Service was fast and good I've had better service and food

I love the presentation, the ambiance, and the attention to detail in their plates and cocktails. Make this your next special occasion to celebrate or a romantic date night! First things first, make sure you make your reservation ahead of time. We had our reservation at 5:45pm on a Saturday and only waited 5 mins to be seated. The cocktails are amazing. We tried the BBL, El Cántaro, the Pasión Traicionera, and La Toxica - can't go wrong with any of them! The BBL was our favorite with the tamarindo tequila and spicy citrus kick to it. The Pasión Traicionera was well presented, the drink arrived on fire, and it tasted as if you were sipping this drink on a tropical beach. We tried the steak pasta and the ribeye steak. The steak pasta was full of flavor and has a nice spicy kick to it! The portion was a great size, and I would get it again. I wished it came with vegetables; however, you can add a side to it for an additional charge. I recommend you upgrade your steak plate to prime style so you can have the sides of mashed potatoes, asparagus, and sauteed onions because the steak plates do not come with sides. We were not disappointed with our experience. There is a fire dancer show that starts later in the evening and we caught some of it as we were leaving.

Fresh florals on every table and in garnishes for the drinks! They had the FIFA World Cup on their flat screen above the bar. Drinks: Garden Spritz and the Ube matcha latte - not too overly sweet but great flavor and not too much alcohol! Would come back to order the other options they have. Food: Crispy thoroughly cooked through diced potatoes are to die for. I still remember the crisp crunch. The chicken waffles? I don't usually get these but this is a place I would definitely come back to just so I can eat this one specifically because I know it's good. The chicken was tender and not dried out, the waffles had flavor and the proportion was perfect!

Final Thoughts: 4.20/5.0…read more Contrary to many other opinions, I personally really like brunch. It really is more for the vibes and spending time with my friends and family versus the food sometimes. For some reason, this place has always been on my list of to-go brunch places, but I've just never had the chance to go here. After our matcha run, my friend and I decided to go here for brunch. It was around a 45 minute wait today. On their Yelp, appears to be quite the quaint place to to get food and relax. Will definitely be a 4 star for me. Food: Jumbo Crab Bene with seasonal fruit: 4.0/5 This is their fresh lump crab with sliced avocado, whole grain mustard and poached eggs stacked on lightly toasted English muffins, topped with scratch made Hollandaise sauce and garnished with locally sourced microgreens. This is served with either house potatoes or seasonal fruits. The lump crab is actually fresh crab I believe. There are some pieces of the shell that were still in there. I'm honestly not even mad because that's a pretty big indicator that it's the fresh crab meat picked out. The egg is nicely poached with a runny yolk. Hollandaise sauce is quite nice and light. The Dijon mustard was quite strong for me and did overwhelm some of the other flavors on the plate. It does add a nice flavor, but occasionally, it was too much. For the English muffin, it was quite thick, so it felt kind of dry. It's noted to be slightly toasted, but its somewhat hard to tell with the mustard, crab meat, and poached egg on top, which are mainly wet items. Avocado is perfectly ripe. I'm not an avocado person, but this one did it just right for me. The fruits came with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Very refreshing and needed after the savory foods. Philly Steak Sandwich with garlic fries: 4.0/5 This sandwich has grilled steak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms topped with provolone cheese on a toasted baguette with mayo and a light teriyaki drizzle. Will come with either a side of house salad or garlic fries. I really liked how they caramelized the onions and peppers inside of this. There's that additional sweetness from it that works well with the steak and cheese. Very tender meat. The bread also seemed kind of big and just almost dry too. Not too big of a concern given the amount of filling that they give. My friend choose the garlic fries and those were amazing. The cut is just right and the crisp on the outside is just so good. You can taste the garlic, but I could do with even more garlic to it. --------- Quality: Fresh Something I really like is that they use real crab in their jumbo crab bene. You can actually feel the tiny pieces of the shell in it, which usually means its fresh. The food did take a second to come out, but both were piping hot. My friends onions and veggies were quite caramelized, which is nice. Brings out a lot of the flavor component in the sandwich. The fries were actually so good too. I wanted the side of garli fries, but it was convenient that his came with it. Super crispy, nice size, flavor is good. May need a little more fresh garlic, but overall, really good. Price: Reasonable Prices seem reasonable for what they give. Initially, it does lean more on the expensive side, but their portion sizes are larger than your average brunch place. Prices will range from between $18 to $24, with a few outliers. Service: Very sweet workers Very nice service here. Everyone was sweet, greeted us, and checked on us. Our food did take a little longer than some others around us. For us, it was around a 25-30 minute wait after ordering our food. Even the table next to us that were seated after got their food first. The food did come out fresh, so I'm not really complaining. They did let us know and give us little updates about our wait and food though. Ambiance: Classic Brunch Spot The space is nice and looks slightly cramped inside. It was just my friend and I and they gave us a seat right in the corner next to the window. Honestly, probably the best spot for me and the person who seated us also noted that it was his favorite spot in the house. I didn't see much beyond from what was seen by the door. The space looks fairly small, but fit a decent amount of tables with walking space in between still. Always love the open kitchen. It's fun to watch what happens behind the scenes. Location/Parking: Large space It's located right on Saratoga Avenue. There is a Lucky grocery store here, so there is a lot of parking around. We really didn't have any concerns finding a space at all.

For the mains, the dal was good, and I especially enjoyed the saag paneer. We also tried the white butter chicken. No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main.
