Nice weekday happy hour spot! My coworkers are regulars here. Good size parking lot so parking wasn't an issue on a Friday afternoon. Drinks and food are self service. You order your drinks and food at the bar. Seat yourself. Food is picked up at the food truck located outside the enclosed table area. They have a cute little outdoor eating space with a fire pit! What a nice touch for a colder day or an evening drink. The bar serves some great local brews. I had a hazy ipa and some fries and tater tot's. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 7-9pm, Saturday-Sunday 4-9 pm. Super chill spot that I would have never noticed!

We stopped by here to grab a drink for the range. We ordered a couple of the IPAs and enjoyed them, along with the regular fries. It's pretty self-serve - you order at the bar and get a buzzer for the food. Solid service and solid drink and food. They have a happy hour starting at 7 pm the weekdays, and starting at 5pm on weekends. There's a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. On Friday at 5ish, it was busier than I've ever seen it but enough seats for a few more parties!

Cool patio.

I'm not too sure about this eatery that is servicing this small golf course and driving range in the south bay. It definitely looks re-done, quite modern and hip versus dated and stagnant like San Jose Muni's bar area. It's a food trailer where the food is cooked, so after placing your order, you basically have to pick it up with a pager, and go sit either indoors or out. Hot Dog ($9/3*) It is a split 1/4 lb dog that's grilled. I like em just fine, but don't really want to wait 10 minutes for a simple hot dog when I'm about to head on out to the course. This is more of a sit-down hot dog, even comes with a bag of Lay's. Also I like to put onions and mustard on a dog, but their condiment self serve area is very sparse. Ketchup, mustard and maybe some hot sauce. For almost $10, which is steep for a golf course hot dog, I didn't see decent options to dress your dog. A quite un-Uhmurican move for such an Uhmurican food. Tri Tip Sandwich ($15/4*) Okay this is the thing to get here. It is crazy simple and almost a questionable value, cuz all it is, is Bun and Sliced Meat. No sauce, no produce value, no cheese. 2 ingredient meal for $15?! Okay they throw in a tiny ramekin of decent potato salad. But that tri tip is legit. Not medium rare status but certainly still juicy. A slight smoke flavor and perfectly seasoned, not bland at all. Deli thin slices and they do give you a meaty bite. I loved it but just kinda wanted some onions or jalapenos to go with on the last few bites. But as far as simplicity goes, this kinda nails it. I like how they have a full bar here along with decent beers. But their beer chalk board is incredibly hard to read, like reading graffiti off of an inner city wall. Very cluttered and almost illegible. They need to redesign that. Their patio is top notch, nice wooden furniture, even a fire pit. But even that is dampened by the 'I don't really want to be here' attitude of the weekend staff. We were there about a little past 7 pm after a hot summer's evening round. There were still a ton of people there, whether on the patio, or on the range or coming in from a round of golf. They told us that it was last call for food when the hours listed said hours til 9pm. We got served but with a ton of attitude. I still liked my sandwich, but the next few times I came in, I totally made other plans to get the hell out of there and eat elsewhere after a round. If a place shows that they don't want a customer's business, I will more than oblige. My hunger and money will go where it is welcomed. Cut and dry.

Solid lunch spot with great service when you're hitting the links. All remodeled fairly recently so it looks great. The bar is legit and there is plenty of seating. Got the tri tip sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was a little small and the meat was a little salty but not bad for lunch. Give it shot while you practice your swing.

A-SLO-ha IPA. So good!

Finally ended up here. Outdoor seating next to a fire place. Very friendly people and great company. I had some friends who were like, "yo Mikey, let us go to this bar area and order bar food and bar drinks." To which I replied, "Okay." Pretty standard run of the mill food here: Chicken wangs, sweet 'tater fries, other types of fries, burgers and other junk like that. Prices are pretty steep, so I didn't go all out with the food, and I wasn't that hungry anyway, cuz I wanted to save room for the booze. We got the sweet 'tater fries, because why would you get anything else? Maybe some onion rings as well. I am having a hard time remembering. I do remember taking several shots on an empty stomach though, so maybe that's where this is all going wrong. Ho well! So yeah, super friendly staff and super chill vibes. Would come back. 5/7. Perfect score.

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant last weekend. Thought we would give it a try. Beautiful day to sit out and enjoy a meal by the golf course. The bar area is very modern, nice atmosphere not many people in there when we arrived. Ordered at the bar, handed a pager and went outside to wait for our food. They have a permanent food truck there, making your food The food was OK. I probably would not go out of my way to go back again. My husband ordered the patty melt, which should be served on rye bread. It was not. The onion rings were overcooked. The chicken sandwich was flavorful, simple. Simple bar food nothing too exciting on the Menu. Noticed from other reviews that the tri-tip sandwich is the one to try, maybe some other time. I guess the ambience is what you are paying for . A $45 bill for lunch, no alcohol.

This is a good place to be after a round of golf. There's lots of outdoor seating and heaters. The menu is pretty standard but tasty and the portions are large. Staff were super nice the day we visited, and we had a great time.

Back of bar. Beer, wine and alcohol selections.

Great addition to Prunridge golf course. At least 12 beers on tap and at least 6 selections of wine. Haven't had the chance to try out any of the food yet but they sound great. Additional seating outside with a fire pit. I will be back!

After shooting a bucket of balls, went down stairs to grab a beer. The bar has a fun selection on tap and a bunch of tall cans also. Ordered the Tri Tip sandwich with potato salad and my buddy got a Bacon burger with onion rings, really good! Check in was easy, staff was friendly and the vibe is really chill. They have fire pit and good music. Parking was tight but nothing crazy. Cool spot, check it out.

Definitely coming back for drinks and to hit some balls with the husband. Drink are great and happy hour after 4pm with $5 drinks what a deal. Next time we will try to food, they have reasonable prices and our daughter had fun hitting balls too.

This special definitely does the trick for the weekend.
Aletta G.

Great outdoor seating with proper social distancing in place. Great bacon | avocado burger special for the weekend, and wonderful staff to help you be it Golf or food related needs. Ordering is easy, place the order at the bar, sit down with a drink and wait for your pager to buzz. You can pick up your food at the nice big food truck, very fashion forward. Facilities are very well maintained and the process from checking in to play golf or sitting down to enjoy your afternoon, is very straightforward. Love this place.

Update: Got special mango habanero wings, board says wings comes with fries. Asked them where my the fries they said I had to pay for special. I paid for special price as you see on receipt. Fraud. I didn't want to argue back n forth. Ate here before, I guess covid makes Aces turn in a BS business or board extremely deceiving. No more. I caution u the same.

I always ordered the chicken dish, so when it came out this time, I was genuinely confused. The menu describes it as having a garlicky yogurt sauce, but there was none. I even checked their website afterward, and the dish I received looked nothing like the one advertised. I also looked through recent reviews and photos from other customers, and even those dishes looked very different from what we were served. If the recipe or sauce changed, I really think customers should be informed. When I asked the waitress, she explained that it now comes with a zhoug sauce instead, but that isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. Oddly enough, the same sauce was also used on the Dorada fish dish. We also used to love the lamb, but they changed that dish too by removing the sauce and couscous base. I'm not sure why the changes were made, but it's just not the same anymore. Overall, it was really disappointing, especially since we chose to spend Mother's Day here. The food quality has definitely gone downhill. On top of that, the restaurant seemed extremely understaffed -- there appeared to be only about three servers working the entire floor all night. The ambiance was still decent, but the overall experience just didn't feel like the Meso we used to love. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place anymore.

I think traditionally, you need reservations for Cielo, but their Winter Experience (ran through December and mid-January) is first-come, first-served. The Winter Experience is a Christmas-themed set-up - very tastefully and beautifully decorated - with Christmas music (even 2 weeks after the New Year). the tables along the edge have small in-table fire pits AND a tall heated furnace - you will not be cold in December. these tables do require a minimum spend of $50 per person, which we came into this expecting that regardless - however, it sounds like you can sit at any of the other tables without this minimum spend, though you will only have a blanket for warmth. the sunset was beautiful, though keep in mind that we do live in a city, and there are other tall buildings around, so don't set your expectations too high. Overall, we are so happy we finally checked this place out, and that we were able to do so during the Winter Experience. We did find it overpriced (considering it's at Hotel Valencia... we weren't surprised) for what you get. I tried one cocktail (~$20) that tasted like a flavored soda, before switching to wine; my husband had 2 Old Fashioned, they were both made differently but both good. The food was good - small, shareable portions. We're happy to have finally stopped in, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come again. HOW TO GET THERE: enter Hotel Valencia from the ground floor; take the elevator to Floor 3; go straight down the hall, pass the front desk on your left, to the second set of elevators; take that to the top floor

When compared to the APRÈS VILLAGE experience at the Four Seasons, it doesn't come close. The food menu is very limited, and food took quite a while to come out. My partner had the lemon linguini which was much too rich and saucy. The crab was very fresh and each crostini had a large portion of crab on top. The Brussels sprouts were very crispy and very umami with the cheese and bacon combination mixed in. The empanada was honestly a showstopper. I don't know how to describe it other than you have to try it. Both pastas were good but I prefer the mushroom one over the short rib ragu. The halibut was also good, and the basil sauce made it even better. I was already super impressed with everything but I think the stars were the 2 desserts. The Dubai cheesecake was an Italian style cheesecake, so it was a lot lighter than I was expecting (which was welcomed) and captured the essence of Dubai chocolate without being too overwhelming. The Lira in Wonderland was also SO good. It had a crown of cotton candy and was a mix of biscoff cookies, dehydrated red velvet cake (don't knock it till you try it), butterscotch sauce, and strawberries. We dined at Lira on November 14th. The Service (or Lack Thereof): The Menu Shortage: We arrived for our 6:45 PM reservation only to be told by the manager that they didn't have enough menus. We were told they'd bring them "later." Ignored for 35+ Minutes: We sat with nothing but water for over half an hour. To make matters worse, a table of six was seated after us and received their full entrees while we were completely ignored. The Drink Mess: After 40 minutes, the server told me they were out of ingredients for my drink. When I picked a second option, she tried to insist I wanted a drink with celery (my most despised vegetable). We thankfully stopped her before it was made, but the incompetence was staggering. The Food Fiasco: An hour into our reservation, someone dropped off a scallop dish. A while later, a server asked if I'd "received the scallops yet," and I realized the plate I was eating wasn't even intended for our table. We were so starving that my husband and I just shared them. Once we finished, the server finally asked my husband if he "still wanted his meal or if he wanted to cancel it." I finally lost my cool - of course he still wanted his dinner! The Aftermath: My husband didn't realize that my friends had actually made a separate reservation to take me back to this same spot the following night for a second birthday celebration. After this performance, there was no way I was going to step foot in this building again or give them another cent of our money. I texted my friends from the table to cancel those reservations and book elsewhere. With service this disorganized and insulting, this restaurant won't be in business long. Super disappointing. Don't waste your special occasions here. *Edit - it looks like Lira has closed. With the service we experienced, I am not surprised in the slightest. I am hopeful that whichever future business occupies this space is more successful.
