Can't wait to indulge!! Pearlsnap Pilsner to wash it down.
Kerry S.

Look at this deliciousness!!! Small supreme pizza and a local pearl snap Pilsner from Austin beerworks. I had a pineapple jalapeño margarita with tajin to start that I highly recommend.

Got a cauliflower roasted veggie pizza. The crust was pretty good although everything else was sub par. Picking up a to go order/service on a Friday night was pretty easy although I can see how parking would be a nightmare. Pretty chill ambiance typical ona. Pizza joint with a bar. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Not a place I plan on going to again.

Kids cheese pizza

10/10 this place has damn good pizza!! The cheese pizza was good for my 4 year old BUT the brisket pizza with that barbque sauce is WHERE it's at!!! Our server Chloe was sweet and attentive. Overall wonderful experience. Will definitely recommend. (:

Half pie supreme. Amazing ranch, blue cheese, and toss sauce.
H G.

I indulged for lunch today. I ordered a Half pie supreme from Toss Pizzeria!!! The Ingredients are super fresh! I opted for the crushed tomato sauce. Perfectly tangy with loads of flavor. I could literally taste each ingredient on this pie, but the magic is when the flavors start to mingle with one another. Wowza! The pizza crust tastes so amazing! Bendable but also a nice little crunch (genius!) The garlic butter..... NOT that weird premixed stuff. There are actual fresh pieces of garlic in this delicious butter. THAT ranch!? YES!! THAT ranch we all love! NOT from a bottle! Also I want to mention their chips and queso.... It's a creamy white cheese queso. (I put a side of jalapenos in mine because I like it hot!) ADDICTIVE!!! Oh and the chips are the light and crispy type but can hold that queso!!! Fantastic!!! 5 Stars! Trust me on this!!!

Warm brussels sprouts and beet salad, to go.
Samantha C.

The highlight of this was the warm brussels sprouts, beet, goat cheese, and candied pecan salad with a balsamic reduction drizzled on top. I asked for dressing on the side since I was getting it to go, and appreciated the ability to choose the amount I put on while also preventing the salad getting squishy from sitting too long. The pizza was good, but not remarkable, and I was a little disappointed by the scarcity and size of the toppings. The flavors blended well, though, and it was not overly cheesy. I got this to go from their curbside parking set-up. In theory you enter your name and spot on the website when you get there, but from what I could tell they were either super busy inside or it was not being monitored. Another car was there to pick up at the same time and we both sat there for around 5 minutes before she went in and I phoned the restaurant. They sent someone out to my car immediately, so they definitely get points for responsiveness. From what I could tell it's kind of rustic chic meets sports bar inside, with many tvs. They have an astroturf outdoor area with some seating, but nobody was using it at that time. Would definitely stop by for takeout again, but not sure it's my kind of sit-down place. Overall good quality food for a decent price. The pizza was expensive for what it was, while the beet salad is right on what I would think for a salad of that size. You wouldn't be able to share it without needing something else as well.

Margarita was underwhelming, service was nonchalant and space was unkept. Overall, wouldn't return again.

My friend never been here as well and we both decided to come for my bday. Best decision ever. I had the short rib and it was tender and mash potatoes was delicious. I would recommend this place. My friend had the ribeye and salad. Both dish amazing. The service was fantastic. Our server did an amazing job. She was on point. The place got packed for a Thursday night. The music was chill. I will most definitely come back again to try something else. If you have a birthday come here. You will see why. Its a great experience.

It's been on our…read moreradar for quite some time, and with my brother in town, we decided to give it a try on a Tuesday night. It was quite busy when we arrived, which immediately set a good mood. The energy inside was great, the decor is beautiful, and the whole space gives off 1920s Great Gatsby vibes. The bar scene looked lively, and plenty of guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were offered seating on one of the couches near the entrance but chose a more private table instead. Our server was pleasant and kind, though he appeared new. A few small things were missed. Our appetizer plates sat on the table for about 15 to 20 minutes before being cleared, and fresh utensils were not brought out. The wait time for drinks, appetizers, and our main courses was quite long. It felt like we were there close to two hours, with about 30 to 45 minutes between each course. I arrived starving, and unfortunately the long waits made me cranky and impatient and started to affect my appetite. When our drinks finally arrived, I ordered the seasonal apple cider margarita. I was hoping it would be festive and delicious, but it turned out to be very tangy and bitter and not quite the cozy, fall-inspired drink I had expected. My husband and brother did enjoy their drinks, though. The pork belly appetizer, which came highly recommended, was a mixed experience. I would give it a 10 out of 10 for flavor but a 5 out of 10 for texture. The burnt end was extremely tough to cut through, even with effort, and my knife was not strong enough. While it did taste good, it was not the most tender pork belly I have had. I have had versions that truly melt in your mouth, and this one was much chewier. The fried shrimp appetizer was a solid 7 out of 10. It tasted good, but it did not stand out or wow me. The presentation set higher expectations for the flavor than what came through, and the sauce did not feel particularly unique. For my entree, I ordered the hamburger. It was good and well prepared, but nothing especially memorable, just a solid, classic burger. My brother ordered the fish sandwich and absolutely loved his. We had the chance to speak with the owner, who was very kind and friendly. He is clearly passionate about his restaurant and genuinely wants to continue making it better, which I truly appreciate. I am glad we finally made it in to try The Gramercy. Overall, I would be willing to come back. I think it would be a great spot for weekday drinks, appetizers, or brunch, especially during a busy work week. And I love that it is open late until 12 a.m., which is not very common in Lakeway.

The League Tavern is a gastropub…read more "Gastropub". That word is so 2010's. A decade ago calling yourself a "gastropub" was the coolest thing in the hospitality industry. Now, it is a lost artifact of another decade, along with Swedish House Mafia and Britney Spears. The League calls itself a retro reminder of the eating clubs of the 1920's and 1930's. It is pretty damm good as a gastropub. It would not really want to be an eating club of the Prohibition era. Menus in that era could be pretty awful. Mashed parsnips. Liver and onions. Greens that have been cooked to death. Tough steaks. Low quality lager beer. The Indian Puddings were all right. The fish was great if it was fresh. I wish they would bring back Welsh Rarebit. But the League sticks to a contemporary menu ... And I am glad they do. Their contemporary dishes are just great. I had a faro salad with grilled shrimp on top. The faro salad was everything I would want a grain salad to be. (I have had some awful tabboulehs and quinoa salads in my time.) The shrimp were completely lovely. Prices are high - but that is what comes with being a gastropub. The concept is: Pay more. Eat higher quality. The Lakeway market will certainly support the League in the prices it wants to charge. The selection on the menu - and for that matter the selection at the bar - is fairly restricted. Having a small menu is not a necessary correlate of being a gastropub. Some gastropubs offer you an expansive range of choices. But careful management of the menu choices means that each and every dish can be polished to a high degree of execution finesse. Practice makes perfect. My guess is that the League envisions itself as a neighborhood place - albeit a rich neighborhood place. Their customers are likely to be regulars. The regulars order their favorite dishes over and over. I myself like my bars and grills to be Cheaper, Funkier and With bigger selections on the menu and at the bar itself. So the League is not exactly my style. But what they do, they do well. They are expanding, opening more branches in more locations. They can do this because the League fills a real need in the Lakeway-Bee Cave market. If a Lakeway resident were to invite me to be their guest at the League Tavern, I would be happy to accept that invitation. Especially if they were picking up the check.

I placed macaroni and cheese and brussels sprouts in the cart. Placed the order. I got a text message and an email of my recipe. 11 minutes later I got a text saying that it was ready to pick up. I walked in to the restaurant. It wasn't very busy. I waited not even a minute when a nice women came up to me. She asked if I was picking up an order. I said yes. And said my name, I was trying to get to my text message with my receipt, she already had my bag and was walking back to me. Super quick service. By the time I got home, Urg, traffic on 620, seriously!! The food was warm/hot, so I heated it up for a couple minutes in the toaster oven. The macaroni is actually big shells, and I love that cause the cheese gets inside of the shell and it's cheesy gooey. Cheese was fantastic. Really enjoyed the Mac. Brussels sprouts I feel were just steamed. They didn't have that chard crispy outside. Just plan steamed sprouts. My small meal was delicious. Hoping to actually eat inside and have a cocktail.

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great choice for a festive gathering. Our reservation was in the evening in mid-December, so we did not get to experience the outdoor views, which I imagine are beautiful. That said, the indoor dining experience was still very pleasant. Our waitress was wonderful. She was accommodating, communicative, and professional throughout the evening. The food was tasty and well presented, and overall the group seemed happy with their selections. I ordered the bolognese. It was not the best I have had, but it also did not feel like a standout dish on the menu. I would be open to trying other options next time. Overall, we had a positive experience and would return. They have this ceiling fans open that I don't know what's the reason behind opening it when the weather is so cold. And who puts string lights close to a ceiling fan??? It was a nightmare for me and my family members.. the ceiling fan and all the outdoor dining is a big safety concern! The ceiling fan got broken after it hit the string lights and one of the propellers broke and suddenly flew to my face, luckily I saw it and just turned around but still hit my neck to shoulder area. It was a huge, thick fan propeller and I don't think people will understand this if you didn't experience or saw it in person. Everybody was in shock and panicky because no one is turning off that ceiling fan even if it was still broken and hit ME on my neck! My family had to shout a few times just so everyone is aware to turn off the ceiling fan! Compensated all of our food but it will but our life will never be the same again.. the trauma you this restaurant caused us! And I think the staff wasn't really fully trained to execute an emergency because they don't even know what to do and at the end they just offered me free wine and the calling card of who ever we need to talk incase we have future claims with them. Other than that, one of the staff members were a little bit nosy and staring at us and giving us that annoying look! And that's unacceptable and inappropriate. To conclude this, someone needs to be liable.. definitely not coming back to any restaurants named after this company in future. Luckily, the food and server was good but still not a solution to a horrible accident that could have been prevented by the staff or maintenance. Safety of customers is the top priority but they have ZERO of that yesterday! Thank God for the EMT and for my family who took care of me.

One thing I really appreciate is that if there's ever a question or concern about your food, the staff encourages you to speak with a manager -- they're attentive and genuinely want to make things right. That says a lot about how they care about their customers. On my most recent visit, I ordered the hot sake, which was excellent -- smooth and very enjoyable.
