A couple of weeks ago, I had a craving for a good burger. You know what I mean: that juicy one that…read moreyou bite into and you immediately need a napkin. The cheese isn't so thin and nonexistent it fairly evaporates into the meat. You taste it because it's good sharp cheddar or thick government cheese. The lettuce is crisp, tomatoes are meaty, and the onions are just there in their aromatic essence - I'm not going to need a breath mint to make it through this date. And, come on, how did I forget about the beef? It can't just be salt and peppered but at least slightly seasoned. Not grisly, dry and not so much meat that it blows out everything else on the bun. Oh, and the sauce. Big stars for not just being thousand island or ranch but some concoction a chef took the time to craft. And why be a scratch kitchen if you are going to slather it with mayo? I won't even order that. Because I hate mayo and I don't want to have to ask for mustard or ketchup or some kind of bottled dressing to make up for the insult of straight mayo. Enter into my life Bubba's 33. I had forgotten about that craving but my husband remembered and found this place for a Friday night date. You walk in and it is so happy. We got there in the sweet spot between super early diners and people who just got off work. I got the burger I just described. To a T. Offered in a comforting, fresh warm bun that was worthy of all it contained. And my husband immediately reached for his napkin. Served with a side of seasoned fries and I asked for ranch for dipping, because I will judge you on your ranch, too. Much respect, Bubba. You did it. As we waited, I had to use the ladies' and happened to see the kitchen on my way. Everyone seems happy to work there, like friends, and maybe that is why the service and food were both top tier. Left happy. Comforted. With a coupon for a free appetizer because the sweet host asks you if it's your first time and then a manager - or some random guy in street clothes rather than a black top like everyone else - comes over and greets you and hands you one. I need to stop writing this because it's only 8:46 am and I want a burger and I have a long day of thrifting and errands in Phoenix that precludes a journey to Bubbas. But, we'll be back! Without even reading this but knowing I am writing this, my husband said he's craving one, too. He said, "That was a goooood burger." lol

Thank you to our server Priscilla for being helpful and checking in on us to see if we needed anything! The restaurant was clean and such a fun environment, they had good music playing through out the night! We ordered Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Mozzarella Sticks, Onion Rings and everything was hot and so good. Absolutely loved the Bread that comes with the Spinach & Artichoke. I ordered a Strawberry Margarita which was good and ONLY $5! I got the Crispy Chicken Salad and it was good, but it was huge.

My husband and I are 4pm early dinner folks on most days due to schedules . I finally noticed the hours changed !-- now 3-9pm . Upon arrival for early dinner we were greeted by the gal at the register , really sweet but absolutely zero direction . I finally figured out to grab menus and seat myself . We waited for our orders to be taken at the table until we figured out to walk back up to front and order ourselves... whoops . After a not so seamless ordering --our food arrived , correct but I expected my " value vegan plate " to be a value lol. It was a quarter of the size of my husband's chicken biryani bowl - his was so large he only ate half . Plus side everything was delicious and heat levels are customized , my hubby went with "make me cry " option and I ordered the medium heat . Both made us sweat so it delivered. I'd come back for sure but I'd stay away from value plates , not much value . Just order from the regular menu. For reference we spent $50 for 2ppl . So this isn't exactly a cheap eats kinda dinner . Vegetarian & Vegan items are clearly labeled. I'll be back for more !

The place was full when my friend and I got there. We waited for about 10 minutes for our table on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely worth the wait. First of the, the coffee was soo good!! I ordered a Lady Litchfield omelette no cheese and my friend got the nacho fries. Both are delicious and not filling at all. Looking at the dish with all the colors made me so happy and I could taste the freshness of the ingredients! The flow of service was spot on. We got refills of coffee without even asking - attention-to-detail point increased!! Last point, there's only one gender neutral bathroom. Sooo don't be like me to wait till you really have to go to wait in line...if you know what I mean *wink*.

Being a resident I drop in here about every five years and while consistent in their offerings, it also consistently "meh". We brought our pup and the service from Miguel was attentive and helpful even bringing a bowl of water for our pup. The location and ambiance is quiet and intimate (I suggest sitting outside when it's nice) and is much bugger than it looks. Coffee taste like Folgers and while each plate has a lot of ingredients, it doesn't have a lot of taste. We ordered the Lady Litchfield Omelette and breakfast burrito and while generous in portion the irony of the dishes was interesting. The omelette was chock full of veggies and minimal egg to wrap them, the burrito had a ton of egg and tortilla but minimal ingredients to taste. At the End of the Day I just don't feel like the experience warranted the $16+ price tag per meal. I'll come back in five more years and see if anything has changed.
