Our second morning at the resort and we made it to the breakfast buffet. So many options to choose from. You're greater at the door and taken to your seat were your server is waiting for you. He has a quick conversation asking where you are from and takes your drink order. He gives you instructions on how the buffet works which isn't different from any other buffet. Once you walk into the serving area it's almost overwhelming with the options. I changed my mind three times as to what I wanted lol. The staff told me to get everything I wanted but I don't feel right about leaving food behind for waste. As you can see almost everything is made to order with exceptions to some of the breakfast meats that are under hot lamps. Once we sat the server told us now that we saw everything he can bring us anything else we might want. Our server was very attentive without being annoying. Great service with great food! Will be coming back to try lunch.

We ate at Mango Cafe several times for breakfast during our stay, and it quickly became a favorite!…read moreEvery visit came with a warm welcome and plenty of smiles from the staff. Nestor was the waiter, greeter, and all-around "make sure you're taken care of" guy. Fatema and Betty were wonderful servers--friendly, accommodating, and fun to chat with. And a big thank-you to Fege in the kitchen for the amazing food! The atmosphere is charming, with cute decorations and open-air seating. The fans kept us plenty comfortable during our October visits. Now, the food! The steak chilaquiles were the best I've ever had, and my husband said the same about his breakfast quesadilla. The famous coconut French toast absolutely lived up to the hype. Definitely worth ordering! But those potatoes... perfectly seasoned, topped with cheese, and mixed with a little corn. Sooo good! I'm still dreaming about them. Yes, we ordered them again. Of course we did. Prices were fair, and the generous portions made sharing easy. We're at that stage of life where we eat a little less and share a little more--but apparently, I'm still very protective of my potatoes! Wonderful people, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Mango Cafe is absolutely worth a visit--and then another!

Everything on their menu is cooked fresh to order and incredibly tasty. The only drawback back is how busy it has gotten over the years, but their service and quality have not suffered.

I heard lots of good things about Reuben's. So we definitely wanted to check it out for ourselves…read more It's on the southern part of the island and we had rented a golf cart to go from the north to the South to check it out. This restaurant definitely had I more local vibe compared to some of the tourist places up north. As soon as we got there I could tell the employees or maybe even the owner started counting up how many women are party and started to shuffling the tables around to accommodate us. This was definitely one of the highlights in terms of The food that we had. Everyone was happy with their dreams and their food We got the mixed grill which served for adults. The shrimp, the lobster, the steak, the chorizo all of it was a good mix. There was a lot of vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower as well as a salad. Someone else in our party got the enchiladas and a burrito and they're very particular about their Mexican food and they both said it was the best meal of the Trip. The only item I wouldn't order and not because it's bad just because it wasn't as good was the carbonara. I ordered it to split between the children and they actually loved it but if I were an Italian I would probably be left wanting.

I ordered a latte and it was just ok, nothing special. They had a fan going but I still had sweat dripping down my sides. My waitress was lovely. I ordered steak and lobster. The potatoes and vegetables that came with the meal were really good. The lobster was good, maybe a little overcooked, but I wasnt a fan of the steak. There was only one other guest besides me and we actually talked the entire time, so I didnt get much school work done, but it was nice either way.

All inclusive resorts ask you to wear collared shirts or a jacket with slacks and closed toe…read moreshoes... only to disappointment your sweat-filled efforts to meet their dining standards... when all you really want is to eat in your shorts and slippers. But this restaurant absolutely deserves your respect... so whatever you have to drag out of your carry on to be here... do it!!! When I have the first bite of the appetizer or salad... I basically know what I'm getting myself into. A lot of restaurants are fancy with foams and reductions and blah blah... but from the first bite of the apple and cheese salad... I was undone. The complexity of texture and flavors... the sweetness balanced with the vinaigrette's acidity and creaminess of the cheese... perfection. The calamari is perfectly cooked... and not something you get at Olive Garden but one single beautiful piece of squid. The Arrabiata penne is spicy and subtle in saltiness and balanced with perfectly Al Dante penne. Slight sting of the spice tingles the tongue while the sauce feels weighty. The risotto is the star of the shrimp risotto and perfectly cooked while flavored with subtle creaminess and the goat cheese is not overwhelming but perfectly harmonious. The Ossobuco is so tender that it literally falls off the bone with a prick of your fork... the sauce is rich with the wine risotto. The picatta fish was slightly over cooked but the artichoke melody of red onion and Swiss chard was phenomenal! The basil sorbet and Panna Cotta is the perfect way to finish. I can't begin to explain the subtle sweetness of the tomato basil jam and how it perfectly complements the smooth creaminess of panna cotta! Please please don't eat anything else until you come here... then you'll regret ever going anywhere else... Inside is beautiful and the outside sitting area also has fans to cool you down.
