My husband and I had our wedding here and it was amazing! The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful and really just all around wonderful. In preparation for our wedding, we went several times to meet with the banquet manager; Emir. Emir was one of the best people we worked with through our entire planning process. Any thoughts we had or things we wanted for the wedding he helped make possible. We had our ceremony in half the ballroom, cocktail reception on the rooftop and reception in the full ballroom. The only thing they don't really have is a dedicated photo space however, we took photos at a nearby park that's off the water. My son and my daughter-in-law had their weeding and reception here . The staff were extremely friendly and more than helpful. The food was excellent! The menu were a combination of Grilled filet Mignon, Grilled Salmon, Chicken Parmigiana and such good appetizers such as sushi, Tiger shrimps. The lighting is very good also. It's the day after my wedding, and I'm writing this review for Tosca Marquee because simply paying them for their service is not enough. The facilities and food are very nice, but that's not why I'm writing this review; their service, from start to finish, is exemplary. On our first visit, we were given a tour of what they had to offer. During the tour, the advantages of each area, depending on the season, and the guests that we might have, were explained. After the tour was done, we sat down with Emir, and discussed details concerning the number of guests, the menu, special dietary options, seating options, vendors, and a dozen other important details that we didn't think to ask about. We were given a print out of what we discussed, and the final cost. We were assured that there were no other fees involved, and he was true to his word. They got their deposit quickly after that, and a couple of weeks before the event, we went over the plan again, settled the balance, and discussed possible last minute changes. During the event, the staff was always present, but not intrusive. They anticipated my wife's needs, and kept her at ease. I am so grateful to them for providing a pleasant, and memorable experience for my wife, and our guests. read more

The service is great, friendly staff. However the food from the brunch was like room temperature although they had it on warmers which was strange, I wanted to really enjoy the meal but it's hard when your food is not steaming. No sangria on the brunch menu is sad, especially for those who don't like champagne. I had to buy a glass of the passion fruit sangria which wasn't so great very tart and not much to brag about. Dessert was excellent. I would love to go back but I will be hard for me to do so again. Also I felt the seafood options on the brunch were all cold stuff like shrimp cocktail and the calamari, the mussels were cooked and flavorful. But it would have been good to have better seafood options that were at least cooked. It's not all that bad but there needs to be some attention to how the brunch menu is setup and the temperate of the food and better brunch drink options. read more

I came to tosca's a year ago and the food was limitless. Bottomless mimosas was always something I enjoyed, but I decided to take my boyfriend to brunch on December 23rd, 2018 and there was not much to choose from considering it was buffet. The fire under the food were all out. The food was cold and I became instantly nauseous. We had to complain about the cold food. The waitress who was serving the clear water mimosa had to be called countless times. I will never come back to this place again. I gave them 2 stars because my boyfriend didn't get sick over the meal and the manager didn't charge us for the cold food which was supposed to be hot to begin with. read more

Arrived for Thanksgiving dinner 2017 to be greeted by a cold, dark, uninviting tent with no heating system, cold unlabeled food and distressed fellow diners! The Roof top is the worst, went there for Thanks giving they had basically no heat the place was very very cold had to keep our coats on to eat, food taste was ok but Luke warm, waitress over charged us by $100 had to speak to management bill was corrected but manager had no sympathy or solutions accept for sitting at the bar in regards to us freezing. I was at Tosca yesterday for friends Brunch event and felt the need to Yelp some. While it was like an endless buffet (lots and Lots of food), I was not particularly happy with the quality of it. The French toast was yummy... It was just too bad that the syrup dispenser was broken and therefore unable to have some with my French toast. They had a cute omelette station with just one little skillet (why not two - especially if you are serving 50ppl). so I skipped out on eating one because I did not feel like waiting. I also want to add that some of the slices of french toast were burnt. The English muffin under the Eggs Benedict was Soggy... Really soggy. There was a cheese tray which had a nice selection of cheese. It was cube cheese and I sensed that the cheese was low quality/not very fresh.Anyone who knows a thing or two about cubing cheese, if you slice/cube cheese ahead of time, you must know how to store it so that it stays fresh. Another thing I wanted to point out is how tough and tasteless the Steak was (carving station). I have had much better! it is almost as if they add this cheap selection of meat to make the menu appear better. As for the pasta... It was ok. The Eggplant Rolatini was also soggy... So no I did not enjoy the breading on it. I skipped out on the sausage so I cant tell you the deal on that. The dessert selection was ok. I assume the mini cheesecake were from the freezer because they had a frozen taste. I was also disappointed that there wasn't enough to go around for everyone. That is not a good thing! The fish was awful! It smelled supper fishy and bad. I also do not enjoy clams. The shrimp must have been sitting in the same bowl as the clams because they tasted like clams. The mussels reeked... Very bad. Bottom line is that yes I would recommend Toscas to someone looking for a place to host a party. I am not sure if I would recommend them for a wedding because if they only did an ok job on the brunch menu for 50ppl.... What makes me think they could handle a menu for more than 75. They clearly did a careless job with the food. I know everyone rants and raves about this place, but I am just being honest. This was not my party, and no I wasn't going to turn to the host and say that the food wasn't great. I would highly recommend that if you do consider hosting a party here- you must come with a list of demands. The atmosphere is beautiful, the drinks are good, the service is ok, but the steps to get to the rooftop go on forever it seems. I would recommend it if you want to get a drink or two but defiantly not if you are planning on getting drunk. The drink prices are very much like what you would pay anywhere in Manhattan, even a bit more expensive if you ask me. The happy hour is from 3-6pm. I recently had an event at the Tosca Marquee for my fiancee's 50th birthday party. It was to say the least phenomenal! The catering manager Emir Mrkulic was outstanding! He was extremely helpful in coordinating the event, and worked with us through the entire process. The room was tastefully decorated, the bar was fully stocked and well attended, and the food was excellent. I had numerous compliments from all the guest who attended the party. The party was a great success thanks to the professional attentive staff at the Tosca Marquee. I would not hesitate to book another event at this location. I went to TM for a friend's event. The setup is nice, but the food was just "ok". We went for brunch on a Saturday. I would like to recommend that they label the food because it's nice to know exactly what your options are. I asked the gentleman who was refreshing the food about several of the items. Once of the Bronx's Finest. The atmosphere is nice. There's never a wait for seating although Lobster Tuesdays can get crowded at times. I've had many of their chicken dishes and the lobster Oreganta is my favorite. My friend had the lasagna and it was a little too sweet. They have valet parking and an ok amount of street parking. A friend of my had her party here and I must say that I was impressed. I didn't see the restaurant part but the event hall portion was quite nice. The staff was very friendly as well. The food was pretty good, but I could tell that they repurposed one of the appetizers as a part of the entree. Other than the place was great and I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend this place for a party. My only issue was the location, but that's because I don't live in the Bronx, so it was a lengthy commute. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Tosca Marquee and we were thrilled with our decision. From the moment we booked the venue, we were met with friendly customer service and personalized attention. We worked with Dawn, who was very supportive throughout the process and helped to manage all of the details that go into wedding planning. We had our ceremony on the rooftop deck, and a brunch buffet reception in the ballroom. The space was lovely, the food and drinks were great, and the staff took wonderful care of us and our guests. The catering costs were also very reasonable, considering how expensive weddings can be in NYC. I am giving a rating of one star (0 stars if I could). This is not based on the food, as I have eaten here many times. However, it is based on an unpleasant encounter I had the other night during dinner while celebrating my anniversary of 21 years. The restaurant was empty aside from a group of about 6 Caucasian guys sitting at the bar. They were loud and possibly intoxicated. Moments after being seated, the conversation from the group of guys had gotten loud enough for us to hear. One guy in particular kept saying "Ni$#@!" his friends would laugh and say you can't use that word. The guy then said, " I can say N%$#@ if I want. I am 2% Haitian so that makes me a N^%$# too. As the conversation progressed, the guys could be heard saying and chuckling the word N^%$# and even referenced "the black couple" sitting over there having dinner (as we being the only other patrons in the restaurant who happen to be black). The bartender servicing these guys and our waitress could see how visibly upset we were getting as I spoke up to voice my disbelief of the ignorance and not once did anyone ask the guys to lower their conversation or refrain from the derogatory talk or apologize to us for having to witness and endure such inappropriate behavior during dinner. When the guys' bill arrived, they began to fight and argue about who was paying the bill. What further bothered me was either the bartender knew the guys personally or they very frequent patrons because she interrupted the argument and said "Calm the fuck down!" She was comfortable enough to yell and curse at them for arguing, but not comfortable enough to tell them their conversation was derogatory and inappropriate. Lastly, to add insult to injury, when leaving, I asked for the Manager and explained to him what happened. He nonchalantly replied, "My apologies!" No questions asked. I am sorry to say I will never patronize this establishment again that is supportive of racist behavior. read more

She knows my voice and greets me so kindly. She knows my order by heart and so confidently. I make sure I call when I know she's going to be there. I'm so happy she is back at this location. I was just married at Tosca on 10/6/16 and I have to tell you it was truly an amazing experience! It was a year in the making, one with many changes however never once did any of the managers at Tosca make me regret my decision to hold the ceremony and reception there. Samantha was my go to, in between I also had the pleasure of working with Dawn and Emir! They were nothing but accommodating throughout any changes I had and were very helpful with any assistance I needed. I can be a worry wart and Samantha always put my worries to ease. The week of the wedding they allowed my cousin and I to drop off the decorations two nights in advance and then allowed my cousin to go in the night before to decorate which helped a great deal especially since I live in New Jersey! On the day of, all vendors were permitted to arrive as early as they needed, again not once were we given any issues on anything we asked for. I honestly have no complaints in regards to the food or service both were excellent. Everything from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception surpassed any expectations i had! My bridal attendant was Matilde and I have to just say i never once had to search for her! Any time i turned she was right there with me, making sure i had everything i needed. Not once did I even have to ask for a drink or anything, if she saw I sat down she was by my side asking what I needed, making sure I was okay. She even attended to my parents and family that she had met prior! She was nothing short of amazing! It is three weeks later and I am still getting compliments on everything. I will definitely be working with Tosca again and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat! Can't stress it enough... My wife and I had our baby shower this weekend EVERYTHING was PERFECT. The food was DELICIOUS! The wait staff was on POINT and FRIENDLY. The ballroom was colorful and sophisticated...they never stop pouring the Champagne as promised. The DJ kept the guest moving with Tosca's state-of-the-art sound system. Let me start by saying it was the worse ever!!! Beginning with the waitress, Taylor, who, while a bit friendly, serves us ice cold bread and put no butter on the table, as accustomed. It took her 35 minutes to take our order and got mine wrong; I had to send it back and wait an extra 15 after an hour of waiting. She was busy socializing and becoming annoyed when called over and actually ignored us twice (there were merely 2 full tables)...needless to say that a third party walked in about an hour after we did and somehow their service was so speedy that they left at the same time we did. At the end of dinner we ordered dessert, which took 30 minutes; in addition, we asked for one bowl of ice cream and got 2; when I mentioned how we only ordered one, I was told "oh no worries the second is on the house", but it was on the bill; lack of attention is an understatement; the bathroom stunk like an outhouse letrine! I have been calling around and telling my friends and family, this is definitely NOT the original Toscas and we will never be going back ! read more

Everyone raved about the food - seriously, the chef is awesome. He was very attentive when we had our tasting and he clearly cares about what he does. The decor is modern, and the price was right.
