I happened to pass by here looking for a sparkly pair of sandals to potentially wear with a costume, but instead I found a matching wristlet clutch at a very discounted price. The store is well organized and color sorted. The manager rang me up and was very personable, patient, and attentive with my questions. Specific items are steeply discounted, and other items are closer to regular prices, and sometimes they're both covertly placed to one another, so you have to read (and reread) all sale signages and verify prices because most (if not all) items are final sale. One star deduction due to the other sale associates not being as helpful and friendly in assisting me, but overly watching my every move in that store...iykyk. read more

I have always thought of Tory Burch products as classic and elegant. Today, I had the chance to visit their Clarksburg store. The people who work there were helpful and friendly. I was greeted warmly and offered assistance when I needed it. They had a beautiful selection of shoes, bags, and accessories. I liked a particular handbag for my daughter and daughter in law. But, the price point was bit higher than I expected. The store was crowded and well stocked. So, if you are looking for something special, it is a good place to visit. read more

Tory Burch came through in a clutch! I was on a search all week online & in local stores/malls for a navy blue sandal for an upcoming trip and literally the evening before my flight, I remembered there was TB outlet. I called Clarksburg 1st to see if they had any navy sandals and a nice young lady name Liz said she would text me pics of what they had. I received about 4 photos and told her which 1 I wanted and would be on my way. This was literally 1 hour before their closing. I was able to jump on the ICC and get their with about 15 mins to spare to browse the store. This was actually my 1st time going to Clarksburg Outlets. Had I known it was so close, I would have visited prior. Liz was there and provided me the sandals to try on and I was able to make my purchase. I also bought a pair of earrings, everything in the store was 40-50% off. Some of the other reviewers are right, there's a ton of staff that pretty much every corner you turn, someone is asking if you need help. It can be a bit overwhelming but I rather that then no 1 help at all. Great store, will be back in the fall for some more items. read more

At some point during the pandemic, I decided to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. And that something is: Buy a purse. It's a very long story, but originally I wanted a very particular Longchamp purse that I saw one of the male characters carrying in one of the foreign dramas that I watch. The search for that purse is a saga that probably wouldn't even fit in this Yelp review, but it involved me paying someone in like Singapore to try and buy the purse there online there, and then have it forwarded to me in the U.S. When it came down to it- the foreign site that didn't ship to the US didn't even have the exact purse I wanted and I was lucky enough to get all my money back from the package forwarder. But yeah, I decided I wanted a purse. Part of it was that I was watching all of these foreign dramas where so many of the guys carried awesome purses and I was jealous. But the biggest part of it was Covid. During Covid I started carrying around a cornucopia of different things that just wouldn't all fit in my pockets. *Extra masks *Hand sanitizer *Plastic utensils *Gloves * etc etc etc So I was like... ok, the time is now. So when things died down a bit with Covid I set up a special event with my friends that I called "Purse Day" which was basically going to the Clarksburg Outlets and going purse shopping (But it was more special for me cause it would be my first purse ever). Where did I find my first purse ever? Tori Burch! It's technically their "Sports Bag" concept - but it has a strap and is worn like a messenger bag. It has so many pockets, is pretty minimalist in design, but is super high quality constructed, and I think it's just perfect for what I need. I did go to PLENTY of other stores in the outlets looking for purses. Many were just much more feminine than I would like for me personally. And the stores that did sell more masculine style bags/purses - a lot of them were just not super comfortable to wear or didn't have the amount or combination of pockets that I was looking for. Like I did see a pretty nice purse at Lacoste that I think would've worked, but it was basically like a tote bag with just 1 small pocket on the inside, and it la-coste a lot of money for just that basic set up. The store associates at Tori Burch were super friendly and accommodating as well. There's defintiely a good deal of employees there to help on a regular basis, and they are pretty efficient and friendly when it comes to grabbing stuff from the back and also ringing things up. I liked the purse that I got SO MUCH that I went back recently to see about getting it in another color. Lucky me, I waited long enough that when I went back the purse I wanted was 40% off! Score! Now I have the black and blue version of my purse. One thing I'll note is that the black purse I bought recently didn't have the strap inside when I bought it. I realized this when I got home. I called the store and informed them, and they curbsided me the black strap that was missing, along with a little handwritten note thanking me for my business. Overall, wouldn't hesitate to visit Tori Burch again. After all, I'm a purse carrying member of T.Burch now and will always have fond memories of Purse Day there that I will carry with me... along with my super fashionable purse. read more

I drove from an hour away to go to this particular location to get a holiday gift for my mom. When I walked in the store there were a few sales associates who were clearly available to assist me but no one even greeted me. I walked in stopped at the jewel to look at a pair of earrings one sales associates looked and me and turned and went the other way. I then walked to the back of the store to check out some purses and even picked up 2 to see if anyone would say hello do you need any help. Nothing! Then I walked over to the shoes I picked up a pair of shoes and still no one asked me how I was doing no or told me they'd be with me in a minute. I left the store. I'll make my purchase online!!! I typically love a good outlet, especially TB, but this was unfavorable. TB outlets typically have good sales (40-60% off) and their merchandise is fully stocked and pretty current. My issue are the sales associates. I get that you work on commission but please don't hound me down, trying to make me purchase things that I'm unsure of. That was literally my experience this past Saturday. There were some cute driving loafers in a bunch of colors. I picked up three along with some boots and tried to make my way back to the couch on the other side of the room, which is where I left my stuff. As I made my way, an overly eager associate was like "what size?! what size?! do you want to try them on?!" I'm thinking dang, can I have a seat first and figure out what color I like? That type of experience made me not want to purchase anything. I'd rather shop online during a TB "secret" sale then be bombarded with sales folk. This ain't the car dealership. read more

The call was to show my family member as they were looking for a handbag. There was no mention of this policy of not allowing video call in the store. Expect to be waiting in a long line during special event deals and holidays. I came here during Black Friday and waited for 45 minutes to get in the door. The 45 minutes was worth the wait! That evening they had 40% off and additional 20% off an item. They had a few items that were 50% in the clearance section so everyone and their mothers were going crazy in there! The deals are hit or miss but I'm lucky enough to be living close by the outlets to get the first dibs. I was very happy with my purchase and I'm sure my mom will too once she opens her gift on Christmas! The store was organized for the most part considering it was Black Friday. Let's talk about Tory Burch for a second, I received a gift from my cousin and it wasn't my style which was fine because she gave me a gift receipt to exchange it. Well. I went and was looking through purses and they said that the purchase "was final sale but we will make an exception".... I'm sorry, but why give a gift receipt???? So I was like "oh, thanks so much for being considerate" without rolling my eyes even tho I felt the urge. I finally settled on a bag. See I have a brain injury which leads me to having major troubles with decision making, I'm used to this indecisiveness so it didn't bother me, but I tried out ALOT of purses. After purchasing and walking out, I then realized I didn't have my phone. I was looking and looking and then ended up going back to the store. They said they would call the number i I left if they found it and that they looked through all the bags.... I did not believe them at ALL. I finally found someone outside (poor guy) that didn't think I was crazy to help me look for my phone. Me and this individual looked through every bag and finally I found it. It was a terrible experience because they told me they looked through them all and they didn't find it. They care more about their image than the actual customer. Mentioning i had a TBI also was most likely "under their criteria for a worthly customer to receive any type of care". This store is beautiful. The layout was very beautiful and the lightening was just right to view the products. This story stays very busy and they use crowd control with lines to monitor the number of patrons in the store. The customer service at this store is AMAZING!!! I went to the outlet looking for a leather work tote. It needed to be something sturdy, large enough for all my crap but lightweight, stylish and affordable. I have a lot of Coach products and expected to be purchasing from them, but I've never treated myself to anything from Tory Burch so decided to have a look while I was right there - the two stores are opposite one another. The products in Tory Burch were comparably priced, and surprisingly I found the perfect bag here at a price I didn't feel too badly about. Likely would not have purchased this purse at the originally listed price, but for what I paid at outlet I feel like I got a bargain and have already received complements on the bag. This is a really nicely stocked store with helpful staff that are "there" but not "in your face" too much. Go during an off-peak time so that there are no lines and you can browse without bumping into other shoppers. read more

Was there on Sunday of their Grand Opening weekend. Line was about 2 hours to get in but there was a great sale of 40 plus 25% off select items. There were enough staff to help but it did seem a little frantic at times, which is understandable for any new store. Good selection of handbags and shoes, which there was a separate line for. This store has a pretty good selection of items but the salespeople are terrible. It is obvious they work on commission. They will try to sell you anything even if it does not fit. Beware of what you buy here as the return policy is 14 days and they are very strict about that. If you need to return an item, I have seen them gossip about it among themselves. In addition they do not send out the birthday coupons. I hate this store. Salespeople at this store are annoying and not helpful. I needed a pair of shoes in a certain size and they said they would let me know if it came in but of course they did not. They were also not interested in holding the items for me to pick up. I was beyond happy when I found out that a TB outlet store was coming to MoCo. The brand carries items such as handbags, shoes, clothing, and accessories. Items are displayed on shelves throughout the store and there are 3-4 cash registers for checking out. Tip: Try to come during the week. If you come here on a weekend or basically any time the majority of people have the day off, expect to wait in a line to enter the store itself. The wait is AT LEAST an hour to get into the store during this time. Also, once you are in the store there are separate long lines for trying on shoes and for checking out. It can be quite hectic and overwhelming trying to navigate through the store, but it is expected when you have a crowd of people in there. Lexi is always helpful and knowledgeable about the products. She does very well with customers and maintains a calm demeanor when it is a madhouse. There is one store associate there who is in her own world every time I see her; she does not make herself available/approachable to customers AT ALL. She is too busy tagging items and unaware of any customers around her. It is unprofessional and a bad reflection of the company. I do not know her name, but she wears dark eyeglasses and has long dark hair. Even though the sales are amazing (because I truly love and live for a great deal), the store can improve on a few things. First, the shoe line can be better controlled. You have to wait your turn to ask for your shoe size and then it is the next person's turn. In theory, you would think that this is a simple concept. Unfortunately, people who already have had their turn will continue to ask for additional shoe sizes and this will delay someone else's turn. There should be additional staff assisting in the shoe department. Also, customers who are just tagging along with someone else should not be allowed to sit in the shoe area. It is not a "waiting area" as it prevents someone else from being able to try on shoes thus causing more of a delay. The addition of mobile devices could also make the checkout process more seamless. Since it is a new store there is room for improvement in the future. read more

I bought a shoe to surprise my girlfriend and mistakenly I got half and size smaller when I went back to exchange it I met a lady name "April Hoffman "she claim to be a manager of the store . I explained that I need to exchange half a size bigger and I forgot the receipt at home but I can call American Express and they can prove the purchase but she posted this transaction saying she doesn't have the size and when I call back later she said I've the size now but your two weeks passed and we can't do anything , I'm also calling the corporate office to avoid these cheap tactics and misleading busy individuals by posting it to later . I don't recommend any one to buy from them this store especially having a manager like "April Hoffman ". I'm also reporting this matter to better business bureau. read more

The zipper just broke and instead of providing some form of reasonable customer service, they instead suggested that I look at their "new" merchandise. The good: well stocked and organized store. The bad: as others have stated, the salespeople follow you around and hound you so that you can't even focus on the products. I specifically had to ask several staff members to leave me alone so I could view items and make choices. Also, you must return or exchange within 14 days of purchase. You can't even get store credit or as I said, make an exchange. I had purchased several gift items and decided not to use one, so now I'm stuck. After reading the past reviews I must admit that I was not expecting to even be able to get in the store with it being a holiday weekend. But when I got to the store I was greeted by a friendly employee who let me know about the sales that were going on and the store was very easy to maneuver around. I went straight to the shoe side and it only took about 5 seconds for Lexi to come by and see how she could help me. I found two pairs of shoes and was in and out of the store in about 30 mins. Even though I had to go back because they forgot to add the discount to one of my shoes, I find the store very accommodating. I went today to the Tory Burch Outlet in Clarksburg, MD on Memorial day weekend and saw multiple signs advertising "40% off the entire purchase". I picked two Tory Sports shirts and after waiting for 10 minutes inline, I was given an astronomical price to pay by the sales associate and told that these signs didn't apply to the clothing racks, especially to Tory Sport. How would have I known?!?!? I asked to speak with the manager, hoping that there was some sort of misunderstanding, pointed to the sign nearby and stated that there were no exclusions in "fine print", etc. spelled out specifically. The manager didn't even bat an eyelash and tried to blame it on me for NOT understanding that a sign like that should not have been considered to cover the ENTIRE store, but just the table it was placed on. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. I was offered a miserable 10% discount in lieu of the rightful 40% I deserved - I declined and left the store empty handed and super disappointed, to say at least. BAD experience with RUDE, INFLEXIBLE and UNWILLING to take care of their customers' personnel. Very inefficient system on this store. They know that a lot of loyal customers will be visiting this location, but nothing seems to have changed since the last time we're here. We wanted to exchange shoes that my wife find uncomfortable. To do that, you have to get in line to get in the store. You have to get in line to get to the shoe area. You have to get in line to get your shoe size and you have to get in line to make the exchange. Too many lines just in one store. Ugh!! Tory Burch is a great brand but with a shoe experience like this makes one want to go to the competition instead. I complained to the manager about the line and asked what the process is for controlling the crowd in the shoe area. Eventually, more staff was moved to work the shoes and a person to monitor the number of people getting in the shoe area. 2 stars because the deals are great 50% or more off are the usual sales. Very organized and often fully stocked. Does not have the latest style but none it's still great choices and pricing. Great for a gift to wow someone whose into labels. Now why just 2 stars: I need this store to remember its a discounted outlet. The staff is very nice rude and overbearing. They do not greet and look ppl up and down who are not Asian or white. Yes they do have black workers there but they been trained to harass ppl of color as well. I went in to purchase for a friend due to the terrible reception she couldn't see through the FaceTime clearly or receive my text msgs but non the less you could see me on the phone and talking. Every damn 2 min do you need help was asked in some type of formed question. I didn't mind it at first and was very glad for the first associate help - she came off nice and genuine-but after the 5th person asks if they can help you and your clearly and visibly getting help from 1 associate and clearly on the phone showing the purse in its section- you know your being treated in a rude manner. An Asian associate with horrible makeup and black associate with a pixie cut were extremely obnoxious. It's funny how you can literally walk in with just a wallet- nothing in your hand and because your black you will be treated like a thief. As I waited for my friends response I sat on the sofa and noticed that no one else was harassed like I was and believe you me I was ready to go but my friend doesn't have an outlet anywhere near her. This store needs better training on customer service and needs to stop trying to stereotyping black ppl. Was in with my mother today, she wanted to do two things. Exchange a gift she received and buy a gift for someone else. Two completely different missions. We drove about an hour to get to this store. Upon our arrival we were immediately greeted in a moderately busy store. We started sharing our objectives with one of the floor ladies (seemed to be a manager), she told us we would not be able to exchange (because of no receipt since it was a gift) but did inform us of the 40% off and to let her know if we got the receipt emailed to us (by the person who gave the gift). We did start checking out other items in the store and we ALWAYS felt supported or someone was always around to answer questions. They were ALL polite and helpful. Not one person was rude. We tried on accessories, bags, perfumes (eventually we bought perfumes as gifts to be given) and there was a team member around as soon as we need help. GOOD JOB LADIES.
