After a long day shopping I managed to check out Trinity Kitchen for the First time and being a big fan if Mexican food I wandered over to Tortilla to take a look at what they had to offer
The menu was small but sounded really good. There were various meat options available including chicken, beef and pork however the chicken had sold out and the staff failed to tell us this until they had already started making the burrito. It wasn't a big deal and we both went for the beef instead. The staff were not very happy and were more bothered about the fact that they were going home soon.
The burrito was packed full of delicious mexican treats I couldn't wait to take a bite.
One word....Bland
Possibly the most bland mexican food I have ever come across! The beef didnt taste fresh, the sour cream was runny and not at all like the thick creamy stuff I love. The salsa was an insult to salsa, it was so watery and tasteless!
Definitely made the wrong choice and should have gone to Pho!
One thing I really hate is when burritos are wrapped in tin foil. Not only does it look terrible it's just asking for you to chew on a piece as you are eating. Makes for quite a shock if you have a filling in one of ur teeth!
So if you like really tasteless food that is attempting (and failing) to be mexican then you will love this place. If not, steer clear. read more
