As a result, its always steadily busy, but rarely packed out to the rafters. Its difficult to get Mexican food right - some places underdo the spices and so on, and some pile them on too thick. This place gets it just about right. All the standard Mexican fare is here - enchiladas, burritos, fajitas and so on, and all are actually very reasonably priced. In additon, there are a range of very reasonably priced desserts and a decent range of drinks on offer too. The staff are attentive and helpful, the food is cooked quickly and never less than tasty, and the atmosphere is always spot on. Its not a huge place, and that suits it well. They also offer take out food, which is every bit as good as their in house food and comes in handy if (like me) you live a few minutes away but dont want the restaurant experience. Recommended.

It will fill you up and was spicy enough but it was nothing like as delicious as real Mexican food or even Mexican food I have eaten elsewhere in the UK. Overall a fun, colourful resto with indistinctive food. 3 stars for Mexican connoisseurs, 4 stars if you're not bothered too much about your guacamole.

Well that attitude just spoilt the whole meal, I told her she had just lost a christmas party booking due to her attitude to which she just said 'so'. What a shame and a let down to such a nice place and decent food. Wish Malton was still open where we never had a bad meal or attitude. Won't be going to St Nicholas St one again in Scarborough.

The meat and toppings here do not have that issue. The burritos were big and filling. I missed having something on the side, like rice and beans though. That would really clench it for me. As for the drinks, there are tons of great cocktail options like margarits, mojitos, palomas, etc. as well as Mexican beer options like Modelo and Corona.
