The front part of the store has men's good, massive shoe rack, a wonderful sitting area and the register. In the middle part is the women's items. At the back they have the kids and men's work boots. The whole store looks new, very bright, organized and clean. We spent a while looking through the vast collection of leather goods. I picked a leather vest for myself. My wife picked a leather belt. My daughter picked a pair of sparkly blue leather boots for herders. The prices were little higher as expected for quality leather items. The associates were very friendly. At the checkout they signed up us for a free rewards account. I received a 15% discount coupon email towards my next purchase. For the first time being at boot barn, we had a wonderful family time shopping here.

They denied an exchange because a brand new pair of $100+ jeans were already ripped. Not worn, not washed, not unfolded. Simply a great experience. I checked it out on Yelp while drinking my coffee, and saw a few negative reviews focused on customer service. I also saw that the store manager had responded to each, and noted that the reviewers were located in CA. Those two negatives weren't enough to keep me out, so in I plunged. The store was busy, it being a Sunday afternoon in the winter. Still, I was approached within 45 seconds to see if I needed help finding anything. The guy asked questions about how I would use the boots, explained how boot ratings work, and brought me some options. 15 minutes later I was out of there with my new boots. Side note: The reason I remained bootless into a Vermont January was the utterly lacking selection and stock levels at EMS. I'll be coming back to Lenny's to outfit my kid.

Alert to all cross-border shoppers!…read more For clothes, yoga wear, shoes, boots and sandals, Marshalls is probably the best pit-stop you can make for your cross-border shopping fixes. I never go to Plattsburgh because I quite frankly find the malls there to be grungy and the selection of clothes look like they came straight out of 1985. Instead, I usually make a beeline for Marshalls, it's owned by the same company as TJ Maxx and if you diligently go through the racks, you will definiely find great deals and bargains, stylish also.

Not the place to go if you are looking for vintage or older style items. Essentially, this is not your moms resale shop- although next door is Style Encore: a similar style store for women, and on the other side is Once Upon A Child: a similar style store for children. The space itself is large with plenty of size options (xs-2x), and plenty of dressing room space. They sell everything from accessories, book bags, clothing, shoes, to whatever warmth you need to make it through a Vermont winter! The whole style of the store is meant to appeal to a young tween-20 aged crowd, and does a great job of it as many of the employees and shoppers seem to fit that age range.
