    patatas bravas

5 stars for the pompelo spritz (grapefruit + cava). It was an extremely busy day (maybe the norm for them on a weekend though) and we didn't have reservations. Fortunately they let us put our names on a waitlist and were able to get a table when we returned 30 min later around 230pm. However, we then proceeded to spend 2.5 hours at this restaurant despite only ordering 4 dishes. I know it's Spanish time but I think 2.5 hours is way too long for a meal. The waiter did apologize a few times stating that the kitchen was a bit slow that day. FOOD: Zucchini salad- thinly shaved zucchini, good but interestingly enough had like an Asian type of tangy sesame dressing Patatas bravas- maybe our 3rd favorite patatas bravas of our trip... so A-OK Scallops- ok, maybe slightly tough, sauce was good Pork chop- tasty but nothing amazing Overall, the food was pretty good but not mind-blowing and certainly not worth the slow service and waiting. I'm a bit surprised it's a Michelin restaurant so that probably upped my standards as well, and this fell flat. I'm glad we were able to try it though.

Right off a shopping area, this place is perfectly situated to stop and have a bite. We made reservations ahead of our visit and we're promptly seated upon arrival. Service was excellent and wine suggestion provided by the server was good. Pizzas were very good though one could easily feed two people.

Wow wow wow!!! I came here with my husband and 2 friends we all loved EVERYTHING that we tried. We had been looking for a more traditional tapas menu but passed by Torres y Garcia and loved the atmosphere so we asked for a table. They had just opened and were empty - but soon afterwards it was PACKED! I would recommend a reservation if you can plan ahead. We LOVED the Patatas bravas the best...they were the best I've ever had and I wish had more time to go back and order them again! The seasonal vegetables were also incredible - so perfectly charred with a really yummy sauce. If you are looking for top quality tapas then this is your spot - they may not be the most traditional but they shouldn't be missed!

We had an incredible time at Torres y Garcia. It's a bit tucked away compared to other restaurants but very central/easy to locate and the food is spectacular. Stunning decor - every room is a bit different so worth exploring. We were also served complimentary sherry wine (in tubes) at the end of dinner! Must try: - arroz cremoso - burrata/eggplant pizza - truffle arugula pizza - habla de ti

When you're done with all the traditional tapas restaurants in Seville (and yes, you will reach that point, trust me), you'll start craving fusion cuisine and more vegetables. That's how you'll know it's time to come to Torres y Garcia's. This place is so cool. Great location, modern but cosy interior, and a seasonal menu with fantastic wine selection. You will stay here for hours forgetting everything and immersing yourself in witty conversation fueled by great food and wine. We started with zucchini and mango salad in Thai dressing which was so fresh I almost ordered 2nds. We followed this great palette cleanser with roasted cabbage dish, which was so filling probably because of being covered in delicious Spanish extra virgin olive oil. The next dish was super generous portion of tuna glazed with honey. While not a winner for me because I didn't think the combination worked, my husband was happy he didn't have to share it with me. We finished it with cheese board for dessert and it was outstanding. Our waiter was interested in what we were ordering, available to make wine pairing recommendation, and really engaged and vested in us enjoying ourselves. We left feeling loved, what more is there to ask for?

SO delicious. Definitely had big portions so don't need to order a lot. We split a pizza and the buratta salad and it was plenty of food. Both were delicious!!! Super cute decor as well. Would definitely come back.

Zucchini salad is seriously light and amazing!

This was a wonderful find! The papas bravas and the zucchini salad had amazing flavors and is a MUST order. I got the Iberian Pork Chop and it was super flavorful as well. My husband got the fish of the day with a few fish bones at the end. He would have been happier without the fishy crispy skin. I recommend the Pork very much! There was no wait. The staff was courteous and attentive. Bread and olives are served with the meal. Have fun!

Fun dishes that are pleasant to your mouth. We got the beef tartare and iberian sirloin. Both were excellent. It's not too busy when you go around the opening time in the afternoon, but I recommend making a reservation beforehand to get one of the well-lit tables facing the big windows outside.

For some reason when I searched for restaurants near me this place did not come up. We stopped by first attracted by its remarkable design and sleek looks and it turned out that the food matched the attractive packaging. We were lucky to be sitter right away while a larger party of 8 was turned down due to the lack of space. We tried four dishes that equally dazzled especially the very unusual green risotto but glancing at the neighbor's pizza I regretted not ordering one of their flatbreads, it looked particularly good with a small mound of arugula in the middle a bit charred around the edges, just the way I like it. We decided to go back again the next day and try the flatbread but in the end decided against it opting for the dishes that promised something new. This time we tried spinach crepe that tasted like a vegetable lasagna and linguine with a beet sauce in lieu of tomato. Both very good. In the end we heroically wolfed down two desserts and managed to slowly take our distended bodies back to the hotel. I inquired with the waiter about the name of the place and it turned other to stand for the names of the owners. I learned that they have four of them in Seville. I intend to try all of them while visiting here.

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. We sat at the bar and I was able to practice my Spanish with the bartender. The ham was a generous portion and I loved watching them cut it behind the bar! Very fun and old establishment-y vibes. Wish we could've tried more on the menu if we didn't have other plans!

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

There was a show going on when we arrived around 10:50, so the main entrance was closed off, but we went through the side entrance and ordered drinks at the bar. I got a small glass of the orange wine, since I heard that was the specialty in Sevilla and wanted to try it. It was a sweeter wine but had a slightly bitter after taste. There were already a lot of people there, so it was a bit hard for us to see the performance, but from what I could see, it was really good. When it finally ended around 11, the lights came on. My friend and I didn't want to wait around for the next performance, so we finished our drinks and left. They also have plenty of seating outdoors in the courtyard, so if you want to just grab a drink but not watch the show, you can always sit outside and chat.
