I loved the coffee from here! They have really good coffee and yummy pastries! The young man that took my order was sweet and got my order out to me asap! lol The vibes here are great, wether you have a love for coffee or love soccer there is something for everyone! They even had a couple card games inside if you're into that! They have a nice projector screen which they had a live soccer game streaming which was pretty cool! But the vibes outside on the fields are wow! I went to the top patio and sat down and watch a group of men divide in to teams and play! I was so concentrated and in to their game lol it was lots of fun, I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't!

Location: Crockett st Staff: friendly normally 1 person Price: average Food: no food just bake items and chip bags Drinks: coffee options, water and a few other drinks in cooler Seating: indoor and outdoor I really like how they are community involved. They have a great soccer field that is divided in 2 for smaller kids. They also have table games and screens everywhere to watch games. They have great decor, I loved how they used the coffee bags @ the place.

Okay, so after a good workout at Momentum, we drove by this spot to get some coffee. They have a soccer field and nice areas to sit and work/drink coffee. We ordered a Chai Latte and my husband got double shots of espresso. It's definitely not made there, and I got the vibe it's all premade which kinda stinks. Employee was super kind though, but I don't think I would go back.

To be fair it was choclate, fluffy croissant but it was old and so greasy. It's flat bc he tried to remove the oil.

Not a good place to eat or drink coffee. Cool place to play soccer tho. The croissants are so bad that both my husband and I didn't eat them. I had a cold sausage croissant that was gross. My husband had an old chocolate croissant. It was so greasy and old. I had a vanilla decaf and it taste like drip coffee with Splenda. It is by far the worst coffee I have ever had!!! The choclate moca was worst. It tasted like water. I was so disappointed that I returned everything back and told them I didn't want a refund or anything from them. Instead of an apology, the lady at the counter said the croissants were ordered today and that they had good reviews. I told her to taste it so she can see that I am not lying to her. I am so disappointed that I will never returned.

I was trying to venture out and check out any new coffee shops in the area and I came across Toros. Not your average coffee shop! This place is pretty nestled in the Sawyer heights area, right directly across from Buffbrew Attached to this coffee shop is a mini soccer field. I walked in and ordered a grilled cheese with turkey and a iced chai latte. The grilled cheese with turkey was thin and not as much cheese as I would have liked but it was enough to hold me over. Iced Chai Latte was really really good! Refreshing and kept me awake! I stayed long enough to see guys rolling in with practice jerseys and playing soccer. A good work session and a view. This place opens late so that's good to know for the next time I come by! Most coffee places closes at 9pm while Toros closes at 11:45. There's enough tables and chairs with outlets to just chill and study.

Nice little spot in the Sawyer Yards area, caddy corner from Buffalo Bayou Brewery. Toros HTX combines a coffee shop with an outdoor artificial turf field with futsal dimensions. The name derives from a semi-professional soccer team founded by the same owners of the coffee shop in the early 2000s, the Houston Toros. Judging by the lack of people present in the coffee shop, though, it seems the focus is still very much more on the soccer in the form of field rental and league play than coffee. Regardless, the menu offers all your standard coffee options, though it is strictly coffee with no food options. There is seating inside with a projector and TV showing soccer matches, picnic tables outside under an awning, and an uncovered upstairs patio which can both be used to watch the soccer taking place on the field. The building also has an interesting flair of its own, having been constructed from recycled parts from other buildings such as industrial freezer doors by one of the owners who is an architect. On the walls hang paintings of headless, armless, and kneeless players wearing jerseys of classic soccer rivalries like Boca Juniors vs River Plate, Manchester United vs Manchester City, US vs Mexico, and Brazil vs Argentina. Outside, there is also a large mural of legendary soccer players Diego Maradona, Carlos Valderrama, Zinedine Zidane, and Pele. In regards to the coffee, the butter pecan latte I ordered was excellent with a rich, creamy flavor and texture. As a lifelong soccer player and fan, it was also pleasant to sip said coffee while taking in the game being played on the TVs in addition to the "live" game taking place on the outdoor field. Given the lack of people there for the coffee, however, it didn't give off much of a coffee shop vibe, and the young lady working seemed a bit bored, having only to attend to the players on the field rather than many customers. As much as I did enjoy the soccer aspect, I think the only thing that would bring me back to Toros HTX as a coffee shop for my normal coffee shop activities of reading, writing and working would be the outlook of downtown from the upstairs patio, provided weather made it comfortable (often not a thing in Houston, especially in regards to heat and humidity). I would, however, definitely stop in with friends for a quick cup or to partake in the soccer itself.

Toros is a unique coffee/tea shop that has an outdoor soccer field connected to it. Very quaint, and rather quiet on a weekday afternoon, perfect for sipping on some high quality coffee while getting some work done. Their menu is rather simple, but I like that they have picture diagrams if you don't know the differences between different espresso drinks. Personally the caffe mocha is my favorite. And with their big windows you can watch the soccer field while inside the coffee shop if there's a game going on. There is plenty of tables and outlets for studying which is always nice. Plus free water station you can help yourself to, and free wife available. With how nice this coffee shop is, I'm surprised it was empty when I came here. It looks like they have soccer leagues here, but I'm not sure when they happen exactly. This is now my go to place for a quality cup of coffee while studying!

The front young lady is lovely and the coffee is super good! It has a soccer field next to it and i personally came to study and found it nice and comfy!

Not sure if it was because it was too much milk or that we had to choose soy because they were out of Oat Milk and Almond Milk, but the coffee wasn't coffee-ing. My sister hot chocolate tasted like warm milk. I did like the chocolate croissant. Cute space but it didn't hit the spot.

Great location and great staff! We went in as a big crew. They had several drinks to make for us. They also made several pastries and kolaches. I ordered a matcha latte with an extra shot of espresso. Yum!

Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

A couple of friends and I wandered in early on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the scrambled‑egg and turkey‑bacon tacos with a flat white, one friend had the chilaquiles (he thought they could've used a bit more flavor and some avocado), and my other friend went for the French toast with an iced coffee. We had a great conversation over a delicious meal and solid coffee, and the steady stream of adorable dogs around us was the perfect bonus. I'd read some reviews complaining about the service, but ours was totally fine--especially for an early Sunday morning. The $8 price point is a little hard to swallow, but worth trying at least once! Milk bread is soft and the brisket goes really great with sriracha. The hoisin was a tad too salty for me; I think it would work best if it had, in theme, the aromatics from actual pho, otherwise it's too heavy. The yuzu lemonade was citrusy and refreshing, definitely hits the spot during the summer. There's a bit of space in the back, and there's a patio area (though I'm not sure if it's 100% Koffeteria's, but it was set up for World Cup watching.
