    Bbq ribs

Me and the wife drove by this place the other day so we decided to spin the block and give them a try. First thing we noticed is that its nice and roomy inside. Plenty of tables and the music was great. Staff was real nice and answered all of our questions. My wife ordered the bbq ribs and our server recommended this spicy habanero shrimp dish for me to try. My wife said the ribs were good, nice and flavorful and the sauce was a great pairing with the ribs. My shrimp dish was delicious, great flavor but not that spicy. Overall we have a great experience and will be returning to try some other specialy items they have on the menu.

Supposedly to be a chicken tortilla soup

We had a very disappointing dining experience. We first ordered a tequila drink, and it was terrible--poor flavor and what seemed to be very low-quality tequila. We then ordered two chicken tortilla soups, which were not good at all. To make matters worse, the soups arrived with meat that did not appear to be chicken. When I questioned the waitress, she responded that it was chicken and that only the condiments had changed the color. Unfortunately, the explanation did not match what was served. Overall, the food quality, drinks, and service were very disappointing. What should have been an enjoyable dinner turned into a very unpleasant experience.

Well it was certainly a festive environment but unless you're deaf or a teenager, or you're okay with locking yourself in the bathroom for the evening, the noise level is simply unbearable. This includes speakers, a karaoke singer and a tuba player. We even used ear plugs and you still can't avoid the 100+ AVERAGE decibel level - think of it like having a chainsaw running by your ears constantly which alters your ability to make simple decisions like 'what would you like to drink?' Speaking of drinks, the bar is spacious and showy. We did order top shelf margaritas to dull our senses, and they were solid. After a long waiting period, we also received a yummy ceviche appetizer. They offer different hot sauces too. Unfortunately, we decided not to stay for more dishes and risk damaging our ear drums. It is noteworthy that this was opening night and there's a lot for the management to consider if they want patrons to return. One star plus bonus points for effort and an a generally cheerful staff - so rounding to a 2. That's all...

    Having fun!

The food was good. The mango margaritas were wonderful. Jocelyn was our server. She was the best. Family owned business that needs the community support.

Great vibes, but a total service meltdown I really wanted to love this place after seeing it on Instagram, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment for my husband's birthday. The atmosphere is lovely, but the restaurant was severely understaffed with only two waiters running back and forth between both sides of the building. I actually felt uncomfortable and embarrassed for them, but it made for a stressful dining experience. The food arrived cold, and while the Chicharron ($19) was the only tasty thing we had, they only had one left in the kitchen, so we couldn't even get a full order. The "surprise" birthday churro was put together right in front of us (so much for the surprise) and was also cold. To top it off, we had to ask three different people twice for the check before eventually giving up and walking to the front to pay ourselves just so we could leave. If you need a to-go box, forget it; you'll be there all night waiting. All in all way OVERPRICED not coming back

The cocktail menu is inspired by records, and you can feel the creativity in every sip. These aren't your standard bar pours -- they're clearly thought out and crafted with personality. If you're someone who appreciates a drink with a story behind it, you'll be in your element here. The live DJ on weekends takes the whole experience to another level. The music isn't background noise -- it's part of the atmosphere, and it hits right. What makes this place truly special is that you're getting two completely different vibes under one roof. Walk into Still OG up front and you get a casual, laid-back energy -- easy conversation, good company, no pretension. Then slip into the speakeasy in the back and the whole mood shifts. Alter Ego is a proper intimate lounge with their full bar, and it feels like a world away from the street outside. The transition between the two spaces is surprisingly seamless and genuinely fun to experience. And they're open late, which puts them in a rare category of places actually worth staying out for. Whether you're there for a chill night out or a proper evening, this place delivers both without making you choose.

My husband and I had a baby free night out to celebrate my birthday and haberdasher did not disappoint. I was even wished a happy early birthday. When going into the bar, you walk down a staircase into a space that makes you forget you're in downtown San Jose with beautiful reds and burgundy decor. The staff is all smartly dressed; the bartender and bar back were both sweet and funny. I ordered a jack rose (my all time favorite), their seasonal watermelon waltz (this may be a new favorite for me, nice and refreshing) and one of their zero proof cocktails called a Mariposa which was soooo good as well. My husband ordered a couple old fashioned and a watermelon waltz for himself. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back in the future.

The Andean ascent was a nice drink to start with, refreshing with a bit of fizz.

Very warm and cozy interior with a small amount of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and people watch. Burmese cuisine is new to us so or waiter really helped us make some great decisions. We started with Palata with Chicken Curry Dip. It was a flat bread that was moist and soft, a very light coating of oil. The Curry sauce was very flavorful and was the perfect match for the bread. Everything is a shareable size which is nice so you can try more things without breaking the bank. The String Beans were the bomb. Nice mellow spicy kick that kept you coming back for more. The Garlic noodles were cooked well very reminiscent of Pad Thai. The garlic flavor was there with out knocking you over. The Burmese Chicken Curry rounded out the meal. It was a very hearty curry with large pieces of chicken and potatoes. Hubby really liked it but wished it had been spicier. I on the other hand thought it was a bit on the sweet side. I'm sure we could have gotten it made spicier if we asked when we ordered it. As a side note...if you're a vegetarian you really need to come here. You can have any dish made truly vegetarian.
