Please update the hours of operation. Very unfortunate to drive a long way to be ignored for 15 mins and then told they are closed at 1130pm
Place: The restaurant is well made well decorated everything looks clean and top shape. Food: if it was amazing favor was on point and everything seemed fresh. Service: everybody was friendly, they had a band playing. They sounded amazing and our server Jesus was very helpful. I recommended to everybody who likes a combo of Mexican food and Japanese food. They do a very good fusion.
Very interesting spot!!! My co worker took me here and I was amazed when I first saw the menu. The ambience was nice and pretty. Servers were polite, friendly and fast but I had a hard time communicating with them. Food here tended to be modernized not typical ones. Ceviche tasted good. I ordered Molcajete and it tasted just like ceviche. I wanted to order rolls but every rolls were made with cream cheese so .... Meh. What made it more interesting was there was someone who came to take pictures at the table then tried to sell it to us for $28 per picture the picture looked great though. One great thing was there was a mouthwash station in the restroom!!!! But the smell in there was so bad, my co worker almost threw up Mixed feelings....
I have had several dental appointments in close proximity to Culichi Town. Today I entered, I was parched and needed something soothing to drink. They have a full bar with Modelo Especial on tap. No brain engaged, I ordered a glass. Then I focused across onto the bottles they have that they can serve! Multiple Tequilas. Some can be VERY expensive for a shot! But then again Cuevo is cheap. So if you order a Margarita it most likely will not cost an arm and a leg. But if you have my taste preferences, Anejo in a shot glass is my preference.
DO NOT COME HERE DURING THE WEEKDAYS!!!! My family and I were waiting for more than 5 minutes to be seated. We had to wave down the bartender because there was NO HOSTESS/HOST in the front to let us know the wait time. Mind you, we would've been fine waiting the 7 minutes that we were there BUT there was no one to communicate to us that there was a wait time and we had to wave the bartender down to ask to be seated. We finally got sat down after 10 minutes of waiting, our waiter told us that the service time is unknown because of the promotion on sushi they were having and not having enough cooks. What is sad is that they were not able to tell us how long we would be sitting there to get our food and ultimately how long we would be there in the restaurant. I'm glad that they told us and gave us the option to stay or not. We left after that to a neighboring restaurant. This place was recommended to us for their food and we wanted to see if their food lived up to what everyone has been talking about but I guess we will never know. I would not recommend going if you have something else to do for the ENTIRETY of your day.

I couldn't talk to my daughter and she was sitting right next to me at the bar. I had to point at my drink to order another one. The funny part was everyone I spoke to walking out said the same thing. I know a couple of people that told me they went once and loved everything but the music volume, so they never went back.... I say play whatever music but just not so loud.
Pretty average experience at Culichi Town. The sushi rolls were good, I was looking for some more unique pairings or fusion options but what they had were the typical. There was a mariachi band there on a Saturday which was a nice addition. Service was good, my waitress was very sweet and attentive.
I was craving some sushi and since I had just gotten off work I decided to give this place a try! I was greeted by the friendly staff and my server was awesome! I went with the Norteño Roll, Guamuchilito Roll and they have been the BEST sushi I have ever tried EVER! I am hooked and can't wait to come back lol! I came in at a Monday evening and it was not packed and def got the chance to enjoy some great food and good music. Now if this is your first time ever like me and are decisive on what to get and like seafood but not a lot then I 100% recommend the sushi I listed above because you will be in love! Also the waiter that helped me and my fam said they have Banda Fri-Sun! Can't wait for that!
We ordered boiling shrimp, one octopus and one prime taco, and a tentation roll. The food took a while to come out. The server brought us some chips with salsa and refried beans as we waited. At first, they were blasting the music, they got some strong subwoofers hooked up, you can feel the vibration and umph. My booth was shaking and vibrating, and I got a warning from my apple watch that it was too loud. It was very difficult to hold a conversation. Then I realized there was a birthday party going on. Once the party left, the volume was lowered to a more moderate level. Chips were fresh and still warm. Refried beans was pretty well seasoned, smooth and creamy. Salsa was pretty standard, mild in spice. The tentation roll was packed with rice. The first roll they bought out, they forgot to add the smoked salmon. We notified the staff and they quickly corrected the order. When they bought out the roll, it was toped with fresh salmon rather than smoked salmon listed on the menu. The salmon was very fresh it was good. The ratio of filling needs a lot of work, it threw off the balance, more than half our roll was missing the shrimp and only had a large slice of cucumber and cream cheese. While the ones that did have the shrimp, it was overpowered by the huge chunk of cucumber. The roll lacked a lot of consistency. The sauce flavor was on point, but would have it give it a 1.5 out of 5. Octopus Taco was cheesy and tasted a bit like BBQ. I liked the octopus texture, nicely cooked a hint of heat. 3 out of 5. Prime taco was amazing, the cheese was grilled crispy, the beef was very tender and well marinated. Highly recommend. 4.5 out of 5 The Boiled Shrimp was decent, sauce packs a good amount of heat, we got medium. The sauce is different than your normal Cajun spot like boiling crab, but it was pretty good. You can taste a bit of the Cajun and had a bit of tang to it. In the beginning some of shrimp is boarder line overcooked, near the end the residual overcooked the shrimp. Good quality shrimp, the meat had a hint of sweetness to it. 3 out of 5 Overall, the food was decent. If I was to come back I would order a dish more focused on the beef and another shrimp dish. The beef there seems really good and tender. While I was walking to the bathroom, someone ordered a beef dish and it looked really good. The service was a bit slow, but everything came out was hot and fresh.

This isn't the first time we have eaten here; we're back to try something different, and we had a great surprise when we ordered a seafood tower (delicious). My wife ordered camarones rancheros (she loves it) and my son ordered sushi, the problem was the drink, this drink (kalavera) was the only thing with a bad experience (please don't order) the bartender tried to fix it, but I believe that the drink recipe is a bad idea I have to send this back ( the server didn't charge ). One more thing that I didn't like was that we were eating and somebody came to the table and asked us if she could take a plate from our table and we said yes but she almost took everything; it seemed like they were in a hurry or they wanted the table, PLEASE DON'T DO THAT. And this is to the manager: Next time a server returns a drink don't get out too soon to find out WHO sent the drink back because YOU LOOK SO OBVIOUS, that's why I looked at you every single time that YOU were looking towards my table read more

Came here for lunch and was amazed by how spacious and nice it was. They had live music, and our waitress was super friendly with great recommendations. I ordered the blueberry lemonade, which was huge, and two tacos that were delicious. The only downside was how loud it was. My friends and I had to practically yell at each other, and I did notice kids from the other tables covering their ears. Overall, it's a cool spot to check out. Just be prepared for the noise. read more

Where to start. Well oh well oh well. The name in itself explains it all. Culichi Town situated in Sinaloa, Mexico I believe. Flavors of Japanese and Mexican, what a combination. Their exquisite selection of drinks entices me when I browsed over their menu. Since it was my first time there, I always like to ask my host or hostess what is their most popular on demand item and what do they like. Sometimes you end up with an upside down or you straight. It can go any way. We've always enjoyed the recommendations we get. Exploring a menu is like looking up something in an Encyclopedia. lol. I need to know what it means and what does it contain. The ambiance is beautiful. Yeah I get it, we may had been the only Asian couple that walked in like we boss too. No, we really are foodies. Went there to enjoy our alone time, have some good food, good drinks that will keep you relax snd the best part of it all is live music. We live music and it don't matter to us whether we understand it or not, it is music to our ears. We love food and everyone's culture. Need to appreciate what we have around us. I'd come back again for round 2. read more

Came here for a special occasion. Came at a dawdle time, mid-afternoon. Not busy at all. Was asked if we wanted water mid-way through our meal. Water NEVER came. Ordered 3 type of tacos : fish, shrimp and octopus. The octopus taco was seriously drenched in sauce, hardly any octopus meat in it--excitement diminished from thereon. My Selena drink came bubbly with liquid nitrogen fog. I would have appreciated if there was an education part of service. Ideally we should be warned to wait until the bubbling and gas fades. It is actually dangerous to ingest liquid nitrogen. Even the expert mixologist would refuse to drink for their health and safety priority. I honestly didn't needed that show. I sipped during the liquid nitrogen was still active and might have felt a bit bloated. Was concerned when I got home and did some research. It was quite alarming read. Plus, they can also educate more on what is on the rim of the cup. I was not fond of the black stuff: BURNT tortillas and salt. Pretty sad about the first experience. Pro: chip and drips were good. read more

If you want to enjoy a happy place with Mexican songs and culture, this is your place. If your energy doesn't match this restaurant, I can totally understand but that's not their fault. I read a few negative reviews before I went there, and I'm glad that I went there and now I have my own opinion:) I loved everything there. The Banda, the service, the food, cocktails and ambiance. My friend and I ordered their Carajillo and Cantarito for cocktails, they were tasting amazing. Everything that we ordered for food was delicious, especially their tacos. The rolls are also pretty good. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the food, drinks and music with friends! read more

Definitivamente una linda experiencia,en el evento(Rincón de los dolidos). Muy buen trabajo,realmente todos,hacen su mejor esfuerzo para que uno,se vaya feliz! Pues son sorpresas tras sorpresas toda la noche!! Y que decir de nuestra mesera Kimmi,excelente servicio,súper entusiasta y súper amable. Para las personas,que no tuvieron la oportunidad de ir en esta ocasión,lo súper recomiendo. Three stars for; Great customer service from our server, he was very attentive and took very good care of us checking in to make we had everything needed. Nice interior and seating both indoor and outdoor Ambiance was very festive and outgoing employees add a cheerful atmosphere Great place to celebrate a birthday with some unique and creative drinks Food not so great. Culichi Town was on my bucket lists of places to try. I was sold with all the great photos of food with enticing presentation. The restaurant is undeniably beautiful, but unfortunately the experience doesn't match the setting. Service was extremely slow despite the restaurant not being busy and lots of staff on site. We had to flag down our server just to place our order, and later had to ask several times for the check. One entrée even arrived before the appetizers, and the rest of our table waited over 10 minutes for their dishes and appetizers to catch up. The drinks, though dramatic prepared tableside on a cart were all show and no substance. They're overhyped, weak, and lacking real flavor. Food was a mixed bag: the molcajete was genuinely delicious and the highlight of the meal, but the sushi rolls were packed with rice and noticeably short on toppings/meat. The tacos although had a nice look, were sadly disappointing, the marlin taco was greasy and overly salty, and the octopus cooked on a questionable sauce that took all the taste away. Overall, Culichi has promising elements, but it misses the essence and consistency needed for a great dining experience. read more

English: I had a really disappointing experience at Culichi Town. We were seated pretty quickly, but after that not a single staff member came to check on us -- no water, no greeting, nothing. We waited about an hour and still weren't helped at all. Meanwhile, people who were seated after us were already getting chips, salsa, and drinks while we were still sitting there wondering if anyone even knew we existed. They're known for their party-style atmosphere, but it honestly feels like that's the only thing they focus on. The music was so loud you couldn't even think or have a conversation, which just made the whole experience more frustrating on top of the terrible service. After a hour of waiting we just got up and left. It ended up being one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. A fun vibe doesn't make up for completely ignoring your customers. Spanish: Tuve una experiencia realmente decepcionante en Culichi Town. Nos sentamos bastante rápido, pero después de eso ni un solo miembro del personal vino a ver cómo estábamos, sin agua, sin saludo, sin nada. Esperamos alrededor de una hora y aún así no nos ayudaron en absoluto. Mientras tanto, la gente que estaba sentada después de nosotros ya estaba recibiendo patatas fritas, salsa y bebidas mientras nosotros todavía estábamos sentados allí preguntándonos si alguien sabía que existíamos. Son conocidos por su ambiente de fiesta, pero honestamente parece que eso es lo único en lo que se centran. La música estaba tan alta que ni siquiera podías pensar o tener una conversación, lo que hizo que toda la experiencia fuera más frustrante además del terrible servicio. Came here for my first time in a Friday night. I surprised by the food in a good way. I liked everything I ordered from the chips and guacamole to the salsa and bean dip that came with it. The fish filet was boneless and the sauce I like although my co worker didn't but agreed the fish was done. The fish was the Zarandeado filet. Our serve was very nice but didn't speak one bit of English, Spanish only. My only complaint and its significant was the live band. I assume the band is only a Friday and Saturday night thing but I've no idea. It was so loud the serve couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear him. I would yell at my co-worker sitting in front of me and we still couldn't hear each other. We had to text each other to communicate even though we were sitting 5 ft from each other. If they would just lower the volume, I'd given this place 5 stars. read more

The music, and entire atmosphere were amazing. The food was delicious and my drink was perfect. The only thing is that if you're not fluent in Spanish can be a language barrier, but they do have one person who translated a few things I couldn't speak in Spanish. However fun and luxurious inside everyone is friendly. read more

Been here a few times now and I really like this place! Definitely recommend reservation if you plan to go on a Friday/ Saturday night, but you should be good without one if you go during a time that's not as busy. When you're first seated, you receive complimentary chips, salsa, and beans. All were very good! I usually get their aguachile verde, it is soo good! Their horchata and horchata con coco were both good, but nothing special. I have also tried their La Doris drink, which was okay. We also got their lobster and steak which was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was really good too. I love that there is plenty of parking and I personally love the Banda. However, it is hard to have a conversation as it is so loud. I love how spacious the restaurant is and the bathrooms are very aesthetic too. Definitely recommend. read more

We had a family lunch and looking for something like sea food we got into this place. Amazing place nice and clean ,good and decorative . The service is amazing too. The waiters are very polite and friendly. For entry. We ordered nachos and guacamole followed by shrimp empanadas. I got a shrimp cocktail, my wife got a campechana little of everything. We were a party of 6. Prices are affordable. I highly recommend this place. read more

I don't know about the reviews and why their all over the place but in my experience it was a 9/10 Food was good besides the burger kinda meh Other than that everything was good Service was pretty quick maybe I just got them on a good day so I don't know where the complaints are from Lol Annoying part was how many times the birthday duck came out but it's part of the show and ambiance I guess but I was here for the food so f**k it California burger : 8/10 too raw for my liking and idk but in my opinion a in n out burger is better Fry's were good Shrimp taco : 9/10 something was missing can't point my finger on it but it was good Panchito roll : 10/10 no complaints Taco campechano : 8/10 not the best not the worst just alright if yk what I mean Cazuelita : 10/10 it was strong and good Kids cheeseburger : fireeeee read more

Atmosphere is nicely decorated with a huge separate bar area. Sat in bar area for an early happy hour. Service was a little slow and took awhile to order a drink even though we were the only ones there . Tried out place due to the interesting and fun drinks we heard about . Drinks looked good and tasted alright. Not worth the price . They have live band which was loud. If you are looking to converse over a few drinks don't choose this place. You won't be able to hear each other . read more

Yes, however last weekend we tried to go, all 5 of us kept getting excessive sound warnings on our Apple Watches and the manager said he could not (would not) turn it down so we left.
