I needed two doors installed. I bought them through Lowe's and was connected to Toria for the install. Every part of working with Toria was positive. They were very friendly and professional from working with the office to the team during install. I called them for a quote on a different job outside of their scope, they again were very nice and helpful by referring us to another contractor. Far beyond the worst experience I've encountered in My current construction project. This so called "professional contractor" was Internally hired from lowes to do my 25 windows replacement. On October 1st I had a Lowe's representative come by my home to Quote me on the project .After my initial agreement to do the job measurements were take but needed to be confirmed by the installing company Toria construction. That same afternoon me and my wife met Vinny the owner of The company. After arriving Vinny mentioned to me after I had agreed on installation that additional work needed to be done or the job would come out "sh**ty".He was very rude and seemed bothered. He stated that my sales rep did not fully inform him what the job would be and that I would need to pay additional $3,000 so my job would come decent. After calling my sales rep while he was still in my home they tried to negotiate the additional work for $2,000. I did not feel comfortable on moving forward and requested to cancel the project immediately. Few minutes later the sales rep From Lowe's reached out to find out what had happened. I explained that Vinny is very unprofessional And has Poor customer service. Within 24hrs the sales rep stated that he spoke to a store manager and will do the "additional work" at no extra cost. I agreed to give it one more shot and placed the order from the sales person because it was not his Fault. On installation day 6 weeks later (which was projected to be 2-3 weeks) Vinny and his crew arrive. One window was missing from the order they picked up. I asked Vinny he state he knows nothing about it And stated "even if I did was I not going to come". Most windows were installed some with defects "factory issues" of course. The last window which was in my kitchen needed further adjustment to install.he did not install it because he stated was not part of the contract. My contract states clearly that all windows must be installed and Fully blow in insulation On the pockets next to the Frame. He disagreed and told me I should do it my self with my own insulation. Again I got my sales rep involved and he personally brought spray foam for Vinny to do what was agreed upon within an hr. Vinny seemed bothered by this requests while it was part of my contract. He started rushing the spray foam very sloppy to prove that it wasn't the right thing to do. He said he doesn't have time for this Sh*t. He then shouted at me using profanity in front of the Lowe's sales person and told me that I should be happy that i got the windows wrapped for free. $13,000 is far away from free my friend. He did not complete the Last two windows, insulation job and left a sloppy mess in the window pockets which need to be completely re done. I've opened a case with better business bureau as well as Lowe's corporate. This company is a disgrace and not professional. Lowe's should never hire anyone with this behavior to come into Customers home. Shame on them for having poor selection of contractors. I did some research on the company as well and they have Below average ratings. Companies like this should have proper training to deal with customers on a professional level. Vinny came out to measure for an interior door install that was scheduled through lowes. I took the the rough measurements and explained to the lowes associate what we wanted for the door that lead into the remainder of the walk in attic that I recently converted to a walk in closet. The lowes associate told me that they could make a door that size as long as the measurements I took were accurate. Upon vinnie's arrival he told my fiance that we shouldnt put a door there that we should just get some local handy man to install a panel. she told him that we dont want a panel we want a door. He proceeded to say lowes would never make a door for that space that's its outside of their scope. He then left without taking measurements. Then came back in and said he would take measurements just in case. However he was only up there for a few seconds so my fiance said there was no way he took measurements that quick. Three weeks went by with me calling lowes to find out why they didnt have measurements and calling toria construction to find out what was going on. Neither toria construction or lowes could give me an answer. Then vinny called me back after about 5 more phone calls saying lowes definitely wouldn't make the door and that he would give me the measurements he took. then after saying that he stated I didnt take measurements I guess I just took pictures to show lowes we wouldn't do it. You were contracted by lowes to take measurements for an install job. But you're thick headed set in your ways attitude lost you a customer and any future referral. Completely unprofessional tried to pass the buck on lowes not making a door when he was too lazy to take the job. Do not contact toria construction. Do not give them your business. read more

Let me begin by saying that Vinny and Diane from Toria construction were my saving grace in a window project from Lowes that went terribly wrong. My Pella window came with damage and with a screen that would not fit. The Lowes representative that I purchased the window from (Federich Glantz aka Eric) was aware of the problem and would not take our calls or do anything to help us once the sale was made. We were extremely frustrated and had no where to turn. Vinny and Dianne helped us to connect with the right people to help us. If it were not for their follow up and support the project would have never been completed. They truly went above and beyond to help us in every way, not to mention the excellent job Vinny and his crew did actually installing the window. Toria Construction owner Vinnie does not adhere to contract agreements. Paid $1,4000 for installation of a window. He is a Lowes contractor. He made this customer wait over two months gave me hard time for setting appointment for install. Agreement was before Thanksgiving. I DID NOT want a winter install. Its one week from Christmas still no install, i filed with jd power and associates against lowes and toria construction. The bbb of nj, nj dept of licensing and media news agencies. I feel his actions were due to retaliation, gender (female), and race bias in constructionn business practices. He and Christian Genea the Lowes salesman are working hand in hand in this conduct. Genea took $ 1,400 of my mone and i did not hear from him a month afterward..DO NOT USE TORIA CONSTRUCTION OF ClFTON NJ. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MR. GENEA OF LOWES SALES IN NJ.
