$7.25 Grande Burrito +$2.75 green chile pork

We ordered a democrat, a republican (about as close to politics as we want to get), a grande burrito w/ pork, green chile queso & chips. Overall, we were happy with our order. The chips were broken to the point that you couldn't really scoop with them, so we had to get creative but the flavors were on point - so, a solid 4

Happy to be at torchy enjoying a great Margarita yummy ordered chips with guacamole, Bartender was attentive and is a slow evening . Guacamole is a little bit spicy but not too much even though I don't like spice foods I enjoyed this walking molecule because it has sis to it it's a little bit salty but I like that as well the Margarita was amazing also the barbecue republican taco I ordered it's amazing. Granted I really enjoyed the barbecue brisket is so good on the republican I would highly recommend this with the guacamole and of course the margaritas are amazing there is plenty of parking no problem here and highly recommend this location which is at area close to HEV across the street. Enjoy yelpers

Finding a place to eat while traveling late can sometimes be challenging. As I was driving around a cluster of restaurants, I spotted Torchy's. Coming from a place where amazing tacos are a dime a dozen, I decided to enter with an open mind. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile, and the super helpful staff took extra time to answer my questions, making the stop incredibly worthwhile. Plus, the food was truly amazing. When I asked for extra salsa, they generously provided one of each kind to try with my meal, which was awesome. I had more food than pictured and would highly recommend this location for a great meal. Baja Salmon Taco - A+ Salsa Sampler - A+++

It's been a few years since I've been to TT. Used to go weekly. Not a whole lot has changed. This place has a lot of seating inside, a whole separate bar area and outside seating too. The staff were very friendly here. The lady bringing food out and cleaning up was super nice. The young girl who took my order was friendly and helpful with all the modifications I wanted and everything came out with those mods correctly. Food was good. 2 normally is good enough for me. I got my used to be normal: democrat, good as usual with good flavors, the crossroads was good flavor but meat was a smidge hard/dry and the fried avacado, not good this time. Got the queso, always good chips a tad stale but not bad. It was a clean and organized location.

    Empty dining room.

So apparently, I haven't learned all the TT rules and regs even after eating at locations all over central Texas at least three times a week for the past several years. I'm at the TT in Lakeway and it is mostly empty at 3pm on a Monday. Two tables occupied in the dining room and three peeps at the outside bar. Ordered my regular Mr, Orange and small chips/queso. After waiting 10 min for the queso, I walked up to the manager sitting with two other employees and asked him to check on my queso since it's not good when it comes out with the taco. He obliged me and a few minutes later it showed up just before the taco. Ugg. Well, since I sat at the bar, apparently that wasn't allowed. The bartender informed me that I can't do that unless I order from the bar. "Just so you know in the future." Who cares and why bother correcting me. You're not busy." is what I wanted to say but I was nice instead. I won't be coming back here but will drive a little further to another store since this store doesn't respect my patronage. TT, may be put up a sign or just let the little things go since they really don't matter.

Receipt showing it was for take out.

The salad is one of the best. Service is great in Lakeway. Parking can be a challenge sometimes.

Absolutely, the most embarrassing website to order from ever. Not user friendly and cannot enter custom notes.

Cauntos Tacos was recommended to me by my BF, and we decided to go all in with the "1 of Each Kind"…read moremenu option. Boy, am I glad we did this--it was the perfect way to try a little bit of everything and compare favorites side by side. Sauderos - One of my top choices. Great texture and flavor with a nice richness to it. That said, carnitas and longaniza still edged it out for me. Cachete - Almost felt like a milder cousin to the carnitas. I personally preferred the milkier flavor profile of the carnitas, but this was still delicious and incredibly satisfying. Buche - Softer and mushier than I would typically like in a meat filling, but the flavor itself was undeniably good. Texture held it back a bit for me. Carnitas - A classic milkiness that's genuinely hard to beat. Rich, comforting, and probably one of my favorite carnitas I've had so far. Definitely a standout. Longaniza - I've never really been a chorizo person... until now. This completely changed my mind. Deep red color, intensely meaty flavor, rich without being overwhelming--easily one of my favorites of the bunch. Champiñones - More flavorful and spicier than I expected. The mushrooms had a pleasantly chewy texture instead of turning mushy, which I appreciated a lot. Great mushroom flavor overall. Revuelta - Not actually on the menu, but something we personally requested. Delicious combination of meats, though tasting everything back-to-back made this one come across a bit saltier. Still, the pairing worked really well and made for a satisfying bite. The sauces deserve a mention too. The green sauce packed noticeably more heat and leaned herbaceous, while the red sauce had a beautiful smokiness that completely won both my best friend and me over. Service was honestly one of the fastest and most efficient I've seen from a food truck. Everything moved quickly and smoothly despite the steady flow of people. My only real downside had nothing to do with the food itself--I hated standing outside at 8 PM dealing with bugs while eating, but that's more the nature of the setup than the fault of the truck. Overall, I was genuinely impressed by the meat quality and how distinct each taco felt from the next. Carnitas and longaniza were the clear winners for me, but there honestly wasn't a bad taco in the lineup.

5 Stars - So Good, Worth the Hype…read more We finally tried Cuantos Tacos and wow... it absolutely lived up to the hype. Food: The tacos were incredible--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality right away. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the tortillas tasted fresh and authentic. We tried a few different tacos and honestly didn't have a single miss. Simple menu, but done really, really well. Service: Service was friendly and efficient. Even with a line, things moved quickly and the staff were welcoming and patient. You can tell they know what they're doing and take pride in the food. Ambiance: It has that fun Austin food-truck vibe--casual, lively, and a little busy, but in a good way. It feels like one of those places locals love and keep coming back to. Overall: Easy five stars. Amazing tacos, great service, and a cool atmosphere. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to again and again.

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
