Came here on opening weekend and there was a few things they could work on but overall it was a great time. Order at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready. Food was great! The fries were really good and crunchy and the burger and sandwiches were delicious and fresh. They have a variety of drinks and a few alcoholic beverages as well. When our number was called they did not give us everything we ordered we had to go back to the window and show them what we were missing. Having to wait for our missed items was a disappointment when others at our table were already eating. The view and atmosphere of this place is really great, right on the lake. There's live music occasionally and misters on those hot days. Food was great, hopefully they have improved because this location is definitely a great spot for a nice quick meal.

Santee Lakes has now become an even better experience thanks to Topwater Grill. The food was amazing and had us coming back for more! Service was fast and the staff were friendly making sure we were well fed. Would recommend to anyone in the area, especially after a long day of fishing .

While camping at Santee lakes we wanted to try the food at the Topwatwr Grill. It is located near the entrance of the camping ground. It was our last day and we stopped by for breakfast. You place your order at the front counter and they provide a buzzer device to notify you when the food is ready for pick up. So there is no table service. Top water Grill is an outdoor seating are on a very big deck over the lake with a very nice view. I was not impressed with their drink selections. I ordered a "boba" which was basically like a strawberry mango lemonade/ koolaid tasting drink with some bursting boba of choice. I did not like it at all so went back and ordered a caramel latte, I thought I'd be hot but it was cold and out of a premixed non dairy machine. The latte lacked flavor, it tastes like watered down chocolate milk. I did really enjoy the bagel Sandwich I chose, it is called the sunrise bagel melt and it was pretty tasty. You get to choose your protein and it's a bagel sandwich with lots of avocado, pepper jack cheese and a fried egg. I also tasted the spicy chipotle wrap, it was okay it did not have much of a chipotle flavor. If I'm ever back camping I'd probably get the same bagel sandwich but I'd bring my own coffee.

We came by for the music. Ashley E Norton entertained this Saturday on the deck. It was a great venue and really nice vibe and views. Set up by her Americana style performance. We ordered the Blue Moon on tap. Delicious wings which were on the Yelp menus and not the QR coded one. They were spectacular with the home rub. The sweet potato fries were enjoyed by my wife and nicely cooked. Thanks for a great Saturday evening.

Love that this spot is here! Had the Earlybird Breakfast & chicken quesadilla, which were yummy! Deck is huge, with fans & heaters. Restroom & a park is close by. They call your number over a speaker. Many drink options available. They had options such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, breakfast items, sides, salad, & beer. Thanks Alicia & Kevin for the nice service!

Service good. Location beautiful. Food terrible. Kid's hot dog says it's served on a warm bun, we received some weird nonsense on toasted hoagie rolls. The kid's menu is the same as the adults menu. I threw all the food in the trash but drinks were good though.

We visited today june 19th. The staff was kind and shared their favorite items off the menu with us. Which made it easier to order. Our boys got kids meals. There were like 7 options which was nice. My mom and I both got sandwiches and loved them!! The location was perfection. Plenty of covered seating, a nice breeze, and everything was clean and organized. It was amazing. We will be back.

    Smoothie menu

30 minutes wait for chicken tenders and a chicken burger with a short order line. If you want to know the calorie count of their smoothies they have them posted. No prices posted though. You gotta ask.

Garlic Fries not a basket like I paid for

I ordered $74 dollars worth of food. The fries and onion rings were under cooked. Paid $4 dollars for a literal handful of garlic fries, received 5 onion rings and a hanful of regular fries. All under cooked and had to put in my airfryer. Ordered the fries and chicken strips. Also, undercooked and had to cook. Not worth the price. Order#5755

We enjoyed a really good breakfast at Broken Yolk in Santee on a sunny Sunday morning…read more We arrived around 9:45 and the dining room was already hopping pretty good. We are bar sitters and found the "hook" open, so we took our seats. Luke was our bartender/server for the day. Luke provided excellent service. Super friendly dude. We hope that your knee is fixed Luke! A mimosa for Becky and a Modelo "NFL" for me to start. Bex ordered the Meat Lover's Skillet. Diced ham, bacon and sausage sauteed with bell peppers, onions, and home fries. Topped with scrambled eggs, Jack cheese and green onion. I chose a side of Biscuits and Gravy as I knew I would be sharing in the skillet. After about a 10-minute wait, our food was delivered. It was piping hot fresh out of the kitchen. Bex decided that she wanted a side of sourdough toast, Luke had it to us in less than two minutes, despite his bum knee. The skillet was a very large portion and easily fed us both with plenty to take home. Every component of the skilled was excellent. From the breakfast potatoes on the bottom to the gooey Jack cheese on top. The eggs were scrambled and seasoned well. The biscuits were super dense and really tasty. The gravy was thick and peppery. I did not need two biscuits. I only finished one. Only One biscuit with an additional ladle of gravy would have been perfect. It had been a while since our last visit to Broken Yolk. We were very impressed with the food and the service.

Inside the shop they allowed people to bring their own trading card collection to trade with each other. They had specialty drinks made specifically for the show, Pokemon themed. There's a good amount of seating inside and seems like a good place to hang out or study. They have different books and board games around the shop too. I tried two drinks when I came. I got the coconut matcha because it was one of the themed drinks but wasn't impressed with it. I probably should've known better than to order matcha at a coffee shop but I'm a sucker for coconut. For my second (redemption) drink I got the Samoa which was a mocha, coconut, and caramel latte. This one was delicious. It had a great coffee flavor with a nice smooth caramel companion. It wasn't overly sweet and not bitter at all. The baristas were all great too. My drinks came out quickly despite it being busy with the show. Definitely a great coffee shop to check out!

Becky and I are not well versed in the world of fancy coffee, so we typically rely on those we are with to provide recommendations. Saturday we were on our own. We wanted a late afternoon pick-me-up and Kaffee Meister is a very short distance from our house. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the pleasant young woman behind the counter (I did not catch her name). I asked for two caramel iced coffees. She very nicely and patiently explained to me the different options of my generic "iced coffees" term. Lattes, cold brews, espressos, etc. Her recommendation was Caramel Frappes, so that is what I ordered. One with whipped cream (for Becky) and mine without. As I waited, I looked around the room. It was really cool. Very homey, neighborhood cafe vibe. A few tables and a couch and comfy chairs along with some tables and chairs dotted the room. The room was really nicely decorated. I liked the spiral staircase shelving. They have some outdoor seating as well. In addition to coffees, they offer a food menu. Pastries, bagels, açaí bowls, sandwiches and the like. I drive by Kaffee Meister almost daily and often I will see that they have live music which is cool. I waited maybe three or four minutes for my name to be called, and I was handed my two frappes. I like a simple cup o' Joe. Black, no sugar, no sweeteners. At home I drink Kirkland brand ground coffee from a drip coffee maker. That said, I really enjoyed the Caramel Frappe. It was not too sweet and retained subtle coffee flavor. Becky very much enjoyed hers too. Neither of us had ever had a frappe before. We were surprised by the milkshake-like creamy texture. They provided the perfect pick-me up we were looking for. About 17 bucks after tip. We'd return for sure.
