Sometimes the bay attendants are nice:) I've been here a couple of times and the last two, the sensors must be bad because you hit the ball and it doesn't register:( which sucks because even if you try hard your points might not count. This is probably from poor equipment or poor maintenance, which speaks to a larger management problem. If you are wanting your pro hitting to count, just be prepared that a lot of the sensors are bad and it will be as if you hit zeros. read more

This place is seriously fun. Take it from me, I am AWFUL at anything involving clubs and tiny balls. But this is fun. I can laugh at myself, look at all my zilches on the scoreboard, and still want to give it another try. If you don't like the circles (probably known as targets), go for the golfball-collecting-reminds me of a zamboni- tractor-drivers. It'll be fun for everyone because chances are, your game is not any better than mine. Haha just kidding. Aim at him (or her) for fun, but don't actually do it. So how it works. If you've never played here before, you have to buy a card. We'll call it a gold card because I don't know the official name. Anyway, it's $5. If you can't afford that, just turn around and go home. You can't afford to play. Unless your date (good for you both for swiping right!) or your friends (who know you're a moocher) is down to cover for you. You get to keep the card forever, so relax - it's not going to waste - unless you lose it. Then you'll have to skip the next 5 dollar menu trips for your next go 'round. Anyway, remember the flight of stairs you had to walk up to get to guest services? Well that means you are on the second level, so if you want to stay (and not walk up or down stairs because you're trying to catch your breath from the last flight), then ask for a bay on the second level. Each little space where you'll play is called a bay. I don't think I need to explain further about where the second and third level are (if you still need an explanation, turn around and go home, you won't understand the game). Once you get your bay, go to it, pay $40 to play for an hour (yes, if you have multiple people in your party, each person pays less, you penny-pinchers) or like 40 balls...or something along those lines. I don't have to keep rrack of specifics because my score is usually a nice, round zero and we all know anything times 0 is *say it together now* ZERO! There is a server who will take food orders or turn off your fan if you get too cold (let's get real, we're in Houston - cold is not in our vocabulary because it doesn't really exist). I hear that there is a magical white area in the very far back of the field, court, space, grassy area, back of the net - you get the idea - where you can collect a whopping 75 points if you land there. Again, it's just hearsay, mythical stuff, because I've never been there. My balls like to stay safe on the grass and in the green as if the scoreboard is an indication of what my bill will be for the night. They also offer cool events, lessons, and specials. I haven't been to Top golf in years since I left Texas, but memories come back when thinking of this place. Last Saturday was my first visit to this location, however, but I enjoyed it even more than I can remember! I came here with 3 family members, and was greeted by the front staff, whom gave a breakdown of how Topgolf works for the newbies in the group. Then we were promptly led to a great spot on the first level which we chose. It was a 90+ degree summer day as typical in Houston, but the fans kept us much cooler. I ordered a beer and got it fairly quickly. We signed up for new membership and got the game going very quickly. For the next 1.5 hrs we enjoyed the games and the experience, which was enhanced by the help from each staff attending to us. The manager was so nice as well. My family will definitely be coming back often after this great introductory experience here. read more

I had great experiences every time from date night, to hanging out with friends, and even to throwing my son's 6th birthday!!! Everything we ordered was delicious and on point (chicken dip, burgers, fried chicken sandwich, and even the hummus was good and I don't even like hummus). It can be pricey but they have great bundle deals on the food and beer so it's not too bad if you split it. For my sons birthday, they were very accommodating and helpful, and all the children had such an amazing time! The event coordinator, Joseph, explained all the cost with me and was very patient throughout the process!! Planned a surprise birthday party for my hubby. I wanted to reserve 2 bays since there's quite a few of us. Each bay can hold up to a max of 8 people with 6 players. I couldn't reserve 2 bays in advance without getting one of their event packages which is really pricey. Because of the number of people we have (initially 16) I had no choice but to get a package which charged $90/hour per bay and a minimum of 2 hours each bay. So it's 2x the regular evening weekend rate. Not only that, there had to be a minimum of $300 food and beverage and $60 service charge (20%!) So a total of $750+ for a group of 16 people. There was NOTHING else included in the package except the bay rentals. The guests had to order and pay for their own food which covered the $300 food and beverage minimum. We had an assigned "event ambassador" who took care of us and personalized the area a little but by adding my husband's name. The 2 star review is by no means a reflection of his service because he took care of our section. Even though towards the end, the service was slow and some food were not handed to the right people so they ended up looking for their food and some eventually found it on the other bay table. Again, it wasn't the event ambassador's fault - it's just that they have different people bringing the food. I would rate our event ambassador's service at 4 stars because I didn't think he explained how-to's - the guests had to figure it out themselves or those who knew taught the ones who don't. The staff was friendly when we walked in. The manager took our cake back to where they can store it. Our guests had an amazing time that I had to extend it for another 30 minutes which turned out to be another $30/half hour, $60 for 2 bays. I would rate the fun at 5 stars because the guests had fun. We ended up having more than 16 guests but they were nice enough to allow us in those 2 bays we reserved and not required us to get an extra bay (although one of my friends booked 1 as a walk-in, for some reason she was never contacted at the time she booked it - 7:30, but guess it all worked out). But quite honestly - I could've just chosen to walk in and get 2 bays for their regular price of $45/hour because the place wasn't busy at all when we got there. But I didn't want to take a chance to I had to book a "package" which was REALLY PRICEY and had nothing special included except for the cardboard name in the area. Plus the "free" lifetime membership which would normally cost you $5. Honestly, not sure what it's for because you'd still have to pay regular rate on the bays and it's just an additional cost. The food is okay- nothing special. If you're having a party and it's more than 8 people, choose a day that's not busy and just walk in to get a bay. read more

I showed up to this establishment at 7:33 pm. I was told that it would be a 30-45 minute wait. After about 50 minutes I went and asked how much longer the wait would be and was told 20 more minutes. After 20 minutes, I asked again and was told my name wasn't put on the list until 8:20 and it would still be another hour. When I showed them proof of my text, they said that it would still be 20 more minutes. I understand that they are busy, but obviously when I went to check how much time would be left to wait the first time, they knew my name wasn't on the list and put it on the list then.. without saying anything. This place was a ball. Huge place that really covers it all for an entertainment experience. We booked this place for an event for some customers of ours and had around 16 people to play golf and eat and drink with us. Looked online to find the best packages then called marketing to determine a package we would go with. We opted for a buffet of beef and shrimp with open bar and run a tab. So we ended up three bays and this is first and foremost all about Golf. Entering the building there was a sign with our company listed and someone to lead us to our spot so we had 3 hitting areas on the top floor with the buffet and seating area behind. It is outside, so it was hot... really hot. So we loaded up on cold beer and drinks and started practicing. A pretty young crowd was hitting it to the 200 yd mark and all seemed to be having a great time but the heat . The food came out 30 minutes or so upon getting up there and we all started making plates. I have several pics but our buffet was was the surf and turf option- a fresh salad, roasted mashed potatoes, a huge great platter of grilled/roasted vegetables- asparagus, carrots, ... the works, then another large platter of grilled shrimp skewers that were also fantastic. The heated dish was marinated filet mignon and fresh rolls . The meat was really quite good and not what you would expect at a - well, I didn't know what to expect. It was upscale restaurant quality and very good food.! Desert I opted to get each table the donut holes with injectors. Large bins of cinnamon sugar donut holes- fairly dense- to where you could take an injector full of raspberry puree or type of jam, vanilla cream and chocolate creme. Wow. Im not a desert guy but kept finding one to jab and eat. Raspberry was my fav and all were just decadent. We all golfed and it keeps score for you based on targets to hit and had quite a good time. We had a bit to drink and more food was there than we could eat so no disappointment there. Time ran out for our 3 hour event and we slowly made our way out. Great time. Our service was fantastic as we had a great server - and the team we held the event for had a great time which was the goal of my company. The tab was right at $2K - noting we had nearly a $700 bar tab but in the budget we had planned for. So be sure you look online for pricing or call so you know what to expect. Highly recommend for small events but especially larger groups that is not the norm. This doesn't even cover there was a large outdoor bar with large TVS with the game on, TVS in all the bays to watch games while we played, and we didn't even go downstairs to the bar, pool area which as packed, loud and well managed.. the place is really huge! My dad and I stopped in for lunch today to try something different for lunch. It was peak time for lunch so we thought it would be a good idea. We sat near the bar at a table waiting for someone to come and take our order. We didn't realize they had menu QR codes on the table so we did ask for a paper menu. We did have to wait a few minutes to even be acknowledged for a drink order. Once we finally had someone come over to get our food order we placed that even though we almost just left cash on the table for our iced tea and water And went elsewhere for food because our waitress was extremely slow to come back to get our order. Slow service!!!! No silverware/napkins and the server didn't ask if we wanted a drink refill until we asked for our check. I also asked the person that delivered the food for ranch and she said she would bring it for my flat bread and she never came back with it even though she passed by the table several times. When we needed the waitress she was no where to be found. Just super slow and mediocre. Probably won't return unless I'm playing golf. Really left a bad first impression. read more

Our waiter kicked us out this morning. We arrived right when they opened their doors at 9am this Sunday morning. It was a bit chilly so my friend went over to turn the heater on, he was approached by a waitstaff member who immediately said "if you actually read the sign, you'd see this is for bays 217-218 and yours is over there." The tone was pretty negative off the bat, but whatever. He walked off into the bar area, we shrugged it off and started our hour long session. An hour passes by and I noticed the same waiter was standing directly behind our bay staring at us. We decided to sit down, I was thinking about ordering a coffee, my friend walks off to use the restroom. The manager comes over to ask if he can turn off the monitor, I inform him that my friend is in the restroom and we're not done yet. He turns off the bay and says to let them know when we're ready. Keep in mind, its early on a Sunday morning only half of the bays are full on this level and theres no one waiting- obviously. The same waiter is still standing there feet away and a younger waiter comes over to take the paper coasters off of our table, now I'm getting the hint! My friend comes back from the restroom, I feel the waiters eyes on us. A few minutes pass and he asks if "there is anything else he can get for us before we leave. We tell him we aren't done yet and are waiting on more friends. He then tells us to leave the bay and go into the common area to wait for our friends. We asked if there is a wait and he tells us no but we are taking up a bay, we need to leave since they closed us out and we now have to get logged back in to play again. We were shocked! We weren't being rowdy, or anything of that manner to be asked to leave, but we gathered our clubs and walked out. I spoke with the manager before walking out the doors. He said he would talk to his waiter and then offered me a card for $15 off "for the next time." I declined his offer. I honestly just wanted him to make it better, even after telling him that we were expecting more friends to meet up with us he could have set us up a new bay and a different waiter but he let us walk out with a bad taste in our mouths. I gave Topgolf Webster 2 stars because I did enjoy coming here since the location opened however this experience was not okay. read more

I had a reservation and was still forced to wait 45 minutes upon arrival because they were full. When I finally got to my bay they gave me one that was all the way in the corner against the wall. Then I had two friends with me and they had to stand because the people in the bay next to us took all the chairs before we got to our bay. I would only ever go here for the range but this place really has awful customer service for the price it cost to play here. Sure they might reply with a "please contact our manager" crap but I don't care to hear "I'm sorry about your experience." I prefer visit again and next time have a much improved experience. read more

I spend large amount of money at this place, just to be stalked like I'm a criminal by the security guard I moved parking spots 1 time to park next to my friends and family. and grabbing my purse from the back seat. . The security guard he has the audacity to pull up next to my car and say "what's your problem!" "Tell me" and said his "manager" said I was being suspicious. With two girls in the car we were stalked the whole time by this security guard. I understand your looking out for the place but these people need to have respect for there paying customers. This place is hardly ever busy during the day so I like to swing by headed to the airport for a quick lunch and swing a club for my cardio. The waiters and waitresses are nice and mostly females. No big deal. Girls run the world anyway Parking is plentiful. The food is closely similar to the one I go to in Austin. Nothing majorly different or unimpressive. The cost is slowly getting more expensive and there is no rewards for continuing to give your money to TG. We are a group of ladies that play fantasy football, and this was our second time meeting as a group here this season. On our first visit back in October/November, we had numerous problems with food taking forever/being overlooked (this was on a Sunday fro brunch...it was not very crowded). We decided to try again, and this time we we the only table in the bar area, but kept having to hunt down our waitress. Then when she was there, she was not very attentive. She couldn't stay focused long enough to even answer our questions about drinks. I love this place. I've been twice, and each time I have a better time than I had the last time. The beverages I'm consuming whilst playing probably help with that, though. However, we've noticed a few times lately that even though a score will show (the target will show where you landed and how many points it's worth), it won't get added to that round's score. topgolf is always great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It gets crowded here and wait times can be over an hour to get a "BAY" to play golf. So have some drinks at the bar while you wait. I highly recommend the "Mushi" its like mexican sushi. Basically a burrito cut up like sushi and super good! The martinis are to die for although they are not consistent with how many olives you get. no biggie. $40/hr to golf but you can split between how many people you have so 4 people can play for an hour for $10 each. TOP GOLF !!! One of my absolute favorite past times. Coming here is awesome , and you can practice your golf swing, eat some food, and get alittle drink on if you'd like. The staff is okay sometimes slow but understanding at time when they are busy. It's pricey I will say that but it's pretty and family oriented to say the least. I enjoy going to hangout and drive some golf balls and just relax and take in the peace and quit. It's setup at night also with lights and music and lights to go with the music which is very very cool to say the least. It also can be packed and a very long wait at times depending on exactly what's going on and the deals they have at the time. They also have a child areas with pool tables, gaming systems and all for the kiddos to play. There's also a full bar and you can order drinks and all while you play the good game of golf. read more

Came here on a Saturday night at 9pm, their prime time. Expected there to be a wait and of course there was, we were told 1 hr so we chilled downstairs. This is a newer facility than the I10 one so we're glad we came here. Free pool and Wii games, pretty awesome downstairs. There are also lots of comfy couches for you to hang out at before your bay is ready. Within half an hr, we for a message saying our bay is ready. We were estastic. So you're wondering why we are giving them a 3 stars instead of 5? Well, let's say we were pretty much forced out of our bay when our time was up. It wasn't our fault that the waitress took forever to come and get our drink orders and then took forever for it to be served to us. We wanted to hang out at the bay longer because by the time our time was up, we still have 70% of our drinks left. It was very unprofessional and very uncool. read more

From company parties to professional golfers to the novice golfer there is no judgement here. Decent drink selections and outdoor fans to keep you cool are a huge plus.
