This place is always a good time. Food is generally good (did not eat this time) just drinks this time. We arrived and were given a wait time of 30 minutes. Not a big deal. However, 9 minutes in I received a text stating our lane was almost ready. An hour later we finally got our section. Apparently I have a different concept of what "almost ready" means. FOOD: Food is your basic American fare, but the one thing that is a MUST (for dessert fans), is the Donut Hole-in-Ones INJECTED with chocolate. For private events, food is served buffet-style behind your bay. SERVICE: Our party had an early start at the bar, but service was so slow, our drinks were ready by the time our bay was. HOW TO PLAY: Top Golf relies on technology, and that includes the sensors in the golf balls. Once you arrive at your bay, you can choose to play however you would like. I had a disappointing experience at Topgolf in Clear Lake, Texas due to the behavior of one of the servers. When my ID was checked, the server noticed that it was from California and proceeded to make several comments about it. The remarks came across as unprofessional and unnecessary, especially in a customer service setting. Checking ID is completely understandable, but making comments about where a guest is from felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. A hospitality environment should be welcoming to everyone, regardless of where they live. Overall the venue itself was nice, but this interaction left a negative impression. Top Golf has become the unofficial go-to for me on business trips with fellow co-workers. We went to this one on a Thursday night after attending a business meeting near Houston Hobby airport. It's located about 20 minutes south of the airport and 30 minutes north of Galveston. The concept is combining a driving range with a bar scene. Instead of wooden signs displaying yardage distances you have light up colored targets around the pin flags. The balls are chipped with Top Tracer technology so an automated scorer can record where the ball traveled to and apply a score. Simply put, your playing darts with golf balls. Each "bay" is rented by the hour, not person. They are equipped with a set of clubs both men's and women's sizes. Left handed clubs are available on request. There is a seating area with a table, a television to watch live sports and a very friendly attendant to handle your food and drink needs. As for the food and drinks they are all good. The menu consists of bar favorites. I prefer the nachos. The bar is full scale so drink favorites are most likely available. It is outdoors so subject to the weather. We went in late September at night. Plenty muggy but a fan blowing did cool things down somewhat. I would normally rank as 5 stars but it's hard to say that this site mixed in with warehouse buildings matches their facility which has views of the Vegas Strip. Also this facility does not offer the replay of the ball's flight. It only shows the results thus some facilities offer a slightly better experience however minor it may be. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful! We did two hours of play at one bay. It was perfect for 5 of us. You pay by the hour, per bay. Prices vary by time of day and day of week. Weekends are increased prices, while Tuesday's are half off. I'd recommend aiming for a bay on the second or third floor. The first is just fine, but it's a better view and pre fun experience on the upper decks. The drinks were okay, we ordered some mojitos (original and coconut). We also ordered the buffalo chicken dip and it was really tasty! You get a good portion and it's got a nice little Smokey taste to it too. read more

Our servers name was Anthony so whenever you come to this location ask for him, he was excellent. We ordered some appetizers: The pretzel bites were delicious, and the cheese that came along with them was so cheesy 10 out of 10 We also ordered some salsa and queso queso was really good, but the chips were kind of cold 7 out of 10 Entrees: We ordered some cheese fries which came with green onions on top. Those were delicious and a side of ranch. 10 out of 10 I wanted to try the cob salad it was so good. It came with grilled chicken and bacon with extra veggies and balsamic vinaigrette on the side so delicious 10 out of 10! If you're allowed to request a server or a section do the third-floor with Jordan. It was our first time and she made the whole experience amazing. She made sure everybody had cold drinks and lots of food. We live in Southern California, California and only have one topgolf here and it seems poorly run if I'm honest honest. We've never been because of all the bad reviews so we're thrilled to see Lake City had one and it was easy to get a t time. Really cool energy there. Everyone is having a great time, including us. When did up renting to areas which was a great idea. The girls could practice and the guys who took it a little more seriously kept score and could be competitive without being obnoxious. My husband and I loved our experiences at the Katy location, we decided to try the Webster one. There was a promotion going on for $15pp unlimited play from 10a-12p on weekdays so we arrived at 10am on a Friday. It was a great time for numerous reasons: not super hot, not super crowded and discounted price! The facility is beautiful like all the other TopGolf facilities. We were on the main level... which is the middle level. We loved the lounge couches instead of the high top tables like in Katy. So much more comfortable! My husband and I had a GREAT time! The 2 hours flew by we had so much fun. We were disappointed that the ball tracker technology (like we were used to at the Katy location) was either off or they don't have it here. I always liked to know exactly how far we drove the balls, in addition to me not being able to visually see where the balls go. It's like, "There it is, there it is, aaaaaaaand I lost it." Bummer. Our attendant, Brian, was great! Good personality, helpful and attentive. We liked that 2 managers checked on us as well as our server. Makes you feel appreciated as a guest. We ordered the guac and chips and the tenders to munch on. The food came out quickly but was a bit disappointing. To be honest, I thought the tots with the chicken tenders were a bit too salty (and I like salt) and the chips were lacking salt. The tenders were a little off in texture , almost an undercooked texture, making me a bit nervous but we didn't send them back (crossing fingers we'll be ok). The food has been average. The first time we went in the morning they were out of most food on a he menu. The second time we were charged for coffee refills (but the soda refills were free). But I was attempting to do the responsable thing by making a reservation, untill I discovered I was charged a seperate reservation fee on the credit card. If you been to any Top Golf, they are pretty much identical. The only down side with this establishment for me was they didn't offer the other games like Angry Birds that many of the other Top Golf establishments I have been to offer. I had asked our waitress why they didn't offer the games and she kindly explained that their computer systems haven't been updated yet. Hopefully in the future they will update this place. I do like that I could control our bay TV from the Top Golf app via the phone. It really seems like Top Golf is trying to have everything done through their app. It definitely provides a nice convenience to setup a reservation without having to do it in person. The service was great! Our waitress ensured our drinks stayed full the entire time. We didn't order any food while we played here because we just finished eating dinner. For the adults in the party which was extra I ordered nachos, cheese fries, buffalo chicken dip and macaroni bites. I also ordered a pitcher of bud lite. The golf part of the activity was great. All the Kids had so much fun! My only issue with party was that the 3 nacho orders were burnt and overcooked and lukewarm. Went on a Tuesday night around 8pm to celebrate my nephew's birthday. Wasn't busy at all. Choose to be on the ground level since we had a rambunctious 3 year old that likes to run around a lot. Topgolf is a different experience than the norm. I've been three times over the years. And you don't have to be a golfer to enjoy it. I certainly am not. After parking in their spacious lot, we had to wait about 20 minutes before our pod was ready (even though we made a reservation). Topgolf is a popular spot and this was a Saturday evening so it's a peak time. I do recommend making a reservation at peak hours to avoid long wait times. The downside is that there's a fee for reservations which doesn't make any sense at all. Imagine if you were making a reservation at a restaurant and they charged you a fee. While you're waiting for your pod, or after, you can grab drinks and food at one of the bars at the facility. If you order food and it's not ready by the time you go to your pod, they will bring it there. Topgolf is essentially a driving range on steroids. You drive balls and try to get them into various areas. There are several games you can play and it's all electronic so your score is being tracked. It's basically a combination of golf and darts. There is seating in your pod so you can sit down when you're not golfing. You have a waiter, and generally, service is great at Topgolf. Beyond the wait times, and the bizarre reservation policy, Topgolf is pretty expensive. You can go with a group, and split things, that helps, but it's still going to come at a Premium. The food is pretty much your standard bar fare. Not bad but not amazing either. If you can go early on a week day, you can play at a discounted rate. Beyond that, I would only go on occasion because it is a little overpriced. With that being said, it is a lot of fun. read more

After 187 days of school, my daughter wanted to celebrate the end of the school year by going to Top Golf ! Today was a perfect day to end the year because guess what you guys? Top Golf's game play is now half price all day every Tuesday. 50% off Topgolf game play is valid only on Tuesday's. You can't beat that because it can get quite expensive and I have yet to go and only stay one hour. You need the first hour to get acclimated to hitting the ball if you're not an avid golfer! Bay 225 kept giving us issues, but Tanner and Kirsten were on it because they addressed every issue we did ask about and they did their best to solve it. We learned to add our own points because yellow just wasn't our friend today and for some reason it just wouldn't add our score when we hit on that area. We ordered the chicken tenders for my daughter and I had the lemon pepper wings and tater tots. Now the tots were on point. Maiya enjoyed her tenders and fries as well. I'm sorry we didn't get any pictures of the food. Yep we were hungry! My daughter and Daddy Herndon had a great time; I won one game and he won the second game. Who am I kidding he clobbered me! I am NEVER going to hear the end of it either! One major issue Dad had was the seating is so low. He asked for a folding chair; none available. She offered a bar stool; he said that's too high. Kirsten did her best to offer alternatives, and maybe in the future for our Seniors that visit, Top Golf will provide this type of accommodations. The getting up and down is a bit much for them. Heck it was a bit much for me to get these hips up and down. Oh yeah I do have a suggestion before you go; make a reservation don't just depend on going in and a bay being available unless you have time to wait. Better yet download the app! We came here for my sons birthday, we have been several times before. We enjoy the whole fun of hitting the golf balls and being competitive with each other. It's a fun place to go, a bit pricy though. Food was not bad, we just ordered some ginger foods, we weren't super hungry nor wanted to have a sit down meal while playing. We ordered boneless wings, garlic Parmesan and the Asian ones. I liked the Asian ones, my son and his friend liked the garlic ones. To whom it may concern (PLEAS READ) I was having a pleasant time at Topgolf Webster, location with family and friends We played for about (10am) two hours until we had 16 minutes left on our time. Our server informed us that we had almost no time left but if we wanted to keep swinging for a little extra time, she would let us. We proceeded to swing till our time was up. (Kris) " manager"came up to us and said that we had to go and that we weren't able to play for the last four minutes. He then proceeded to grab me forcefully, trying to get me out of the bay by the arm. I wasn't resisting what he was asking. We were just collecting our things. He then threatened to ban us, saying "you know I can ban you guys from here." While our server was apologizing for her mistake after telling us that would could "take our time and some".It was a very unpleasant time at the end. The service was mediocre at best and then having a grown man put hands on me as a grown man is unacceptable.
