The wait is too long on the weekends. Our group waited three hours on a Saturday early evening for a bay. Food was okay but the kitchen was slow since they had a lot if groups taking up most of the bays on the third floor. The problem is that you can extend your bay time and people waiting are never guaranteed a bay according to the suggested waiting time by the host, so you end up spending money on dinner and drinks before you get fed up and leave. Imagine going to a club and standing at the door drinking and listening to music but you can't dance. The host will tell you it's a two hour wait so they can get you in to spend money on food and drinks. Don't waste your time. Our party spent $150 waiting and never played. What a racket. The $5 they charge for membership is a waste when you can't even use it. read more

Pivot3, a Gartner quadrant leader in Hyperconvergence, had our 2016 Q1 success celebration at this event space. Marc Williams made it very easy to plan, shuffle plans because of local flooding, and when we got there Megan and Kirby and Christina kept us happy, fed, and libated. We had a great time for an amazingly low price point and will definitely be considering this venue for further Pivot3 celebrations. Topgolf is so much fun! I'm a golfer, so of course I like anything golf, but my non-golfer wife actually likes going more than me. We are from out of town, but always visit Topgolf as many times as possible when visiting family. The service can be a little slow at times, but that's the case anywhere that gets busy. Our favorite game on the most recent visit was some sort of connect the dot/gem game. It stated that this was a beta version game, but I really hope it becomes a permanent addition! read more

The cost per bay varries from $25 to $45 per hour, depending on the time of day you go. Also, each player must have a membership card, a one time purchase of $5. They offer a wide variety of menu options, from brunch to drinks, they have something for everyone. The venue is clean, the service is great. One of the main hot spots in Houston that's good for both locals and tourists. Houston has a vibrant restaurant scene, a great housing market, and plenty of energy (get it?). But let's face it, it's not the first spot tourists think of when they visit Texas. Top Golf might just be the thing that gets us there. The place is one giant driving range with several massive "holes." You can treat it like a typical driving range or play one of their many objective-based games where you aim at the "holes" and score points (there's a sensor in each golf ball and sensors all across the driving range/holes; the two systems work together to pinpoint the exact location, hole, etc. that the ball travels to). The nachos are good, the beer is great, and the atmosphere is excellent. It's one of the few businesses (the likes of Dave & Buster's) that offers hours of fun, food, and drinks. It's great for all ages: the managers have made sure that adults, teenagers, and children can all have equal amounts of fun, albeit in different ways. read more

Topgolf is my new fave spot in Spring. Had a blast here for a "Sunday Funday" last weekend. We started at the bar to wait for our group and were well taken care of by a super nice and friendly bartender. We tried a whole bunch of different apps and food as well- all of which were pretty good besides one that was some sort of burrito sliced up like sushi- strange.... Horrible Experience ! Had my trucks catalytic converter stolen Saturday and nothing could be done, we walked outside and talked for about 15 minutes with family and friend. Security passed over 10 times in those 15 minutes but couldn't see anyone snooping around cars while we were inside. Called top golf and they couldn't even give us license plate due to it being "too dark". Don't go here unless you want to end up with something missing in your vehicle. read more

Staff seemed welcoming when we entered however the lady that assisted me while I got a membership was rude. We were later taken to a bay where the computer screen lagged soooo much. Instead of changing us to one that actually worked they left us there and told us it hoped it worked. We wasted a total of 20 mins just trying to change something on the screen. She said it was due to the heat but both parties next to us seemed to be working perfectly. I love the idea about this place and I've always wanted to come but I will never return to this location due to that. If you (a worker) have problems with a screen and take about 5-10 mins moving the screen to input info then don't put customers there, it's honestly that simple. read more

I took my girlfriend and her son here last week to the spring location. We had a good time playing golf and trying to out drive each other and whatnot, but when it came to the good and drinks, BLAHHHH! It was a Saturday so we were having cocktails with lunch, we ordered some top shelf FROZEN margaritas! We wanted some floaters on top as well! A "floater" is another 1/4 oz of tequila or whatever liquor you want Floated on top of your frozen drink! The server clearly didn't understand what that was but I told her to ask the bartender and so she did...she came back in a minute and said they didn't have frozen margaritas!!! So we made do with rocks margaritas, which were HORRIBLE! Never order rocks margaritas from this place! Ever! Watered down and sugary! Oh and the "floaters" that she brought us were just shots of patron on the side! For 10$ each!!! When we got the bill I politely asked her to take those charges off as I would NEVER order shots of patron like that! I wouldn't pay 20$ for an ADD ON to my drink! No thanks! Food was mediocre at best, they both ordered pork sliders which were good...I ordered some breakfast sliders (chicken and waffle) they were bad! Straight out of a microwave! I just couldn't believe I paid 9$ for that plate!!! I can go to another breakfast place and pay 10$ for a GARGANTUAN chicken and waffle sandwhich! All in all I was disappointed, drinks were bad, my food was bad, and the prices were outrageous! I spent 140$ on an hour of golf, bad drinks, mediocre food and my little membership card...I will go back, but when I do, I'm going before noon, and I'm not eating or drinking anything other than water! read more

Great place for a family or coworker get together. I've been to the one on the west side of town so wasn't surprised by the ambience. Overall both locations are the same. The games are fun and there isn't really much of a substitute. The food and drink variety are just ok. I think this is a definite area for improvement to take it over the top. I went to Top Golf last night for a work related event that my husband was hosting. I've been several times before. We sat in a bay on the third floor which (in my opinion) is the best location because you can see all the holes really well. I had the farmhouse flatbread which is gluten friendly and is incredible. I had the apple pear mocktail which was nice alternative to soda and tea. The staff is very helpful although the service was a bit slow last night. I love the game itself...zero golfing experience is required and anyone can be successful at it. They also have foosball, pool table and shuffleboard (?) on the first floor which I hadn't noticed before. Overall, I recommend Top Golf for just about any type of event....office team building, date night, birthday party, youth group outing, etc. It's fun for everyone. read more

This was my first visit and it was all about the kiddos. The staff was nice and welcoming when we first arrived until we left. All of the kids were in the lower level where they had access to pool tables, video games etc. Before hitting the balls there was a brief explanation of the kids programs and summer camp. Outside we were given instructions on the names of each part of the club and how to hold it. Our instructor also showed us how to work the machine. I was probably more excited then the kids! The kids were able to hit the balls for two hours. The bathroom facilities were clean. The food satisfied the kids and we all made new friends. We really enjoyed ourselves and I'll be coming back for a date night and possibly sending the kids there for camp. read more

Went to this place for the first time ever this past weekend. Staff welcomed me in the parking lot and at the door which I thought was great. Ordered some apps which were good. The waitress I had billed me for my soda's but never brought them until I flagged her down. But that's just one person so I won't really judge them for that. In addition to that, the only other thing is the cost of playing. Its $40 for an hour and that's up to 6 people. Well if your party has 6 people, by the time each person takes turns, the hour goes by quickly so you end up playing another hour. It's a great marketing strategy if you ask me. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. Overall though, if you're willing to spend the Bucks then go have fun. It's $20 for the hour if you place at times before noon. Once settled in our bay our party of 6 adults and 3 children (all under the age of 9) were told only 6 guest were allowed per bay. 4 of the 6 adults were moved to the outside bar to abide the "COVID rule". Within this time we witnessed SEVERAL bays with more than 6 guest. We addressed 2 managers regarding the issue and asked if we could join our party since there were neighboring bays well over the max occupancy. Both managers responded in frustration, and stated " we've already addressed the issue". Unfortunately, the issue was never addressed, and 5 bays on the third floor had well over 6 guest. 4 adults within our party were not able to enjoy the top golf experience with their children. Top Golf Spring FAILED to adhere to their own "COVID" policy for ALL customers. This incident ruined the TopGolf experience for returning guest. Managers on duty within the hours of 1-3 PM handled this situation poorly. read more

Corporate or company events, parties, etc here is a GOOD idea. Food is good, price is good considering you are getting entertainment, food, a decent bar tab and a venue for a couple hours. We had a company gathering here and it was really sweet. Also the guy we had who was in charge of our event and making sure we had everything we needed was really fun and outgoing. Wowweewowwow! 1st time to TopGolf was a group date night and we initially went to the wrong location. 1st Impression of the one in Katy was "CRAZY PACKED". Had a major club feel , DJ/music was jamming and there were all types there and attire ranged from casual with kids to club night outfit "Jeans and Heels" for ladies. 2-hour wait time after we checked-in and I was over it before we even found a corner to stand in. On to the RIGHT (SPRING) TopGolf and upon arrival, it was much less crowded, I think a lot more casual though there was still some more "dressed" people and music mix was mostly country/old 90's rock mixed with some top 40 and Latin music. The atmosphere was fun. You don't need to be experienced or you can be a pro. They have a game style for everyone. I liken this to "Cosmic Bowling" back when it first came out and it was cool. While the place wasn't as packed as the other location they were still really busy and the wait staff was kind of.......impatient because of it. Our waitress was nice and she did spend a bit more time than the few we tried for the random odds and end questions. Be prepared, its fun for groups, group dates, just a date whatever but it is NOT cheap. You need a membership to get on the waitlist ($5/membership), $20/hr for a table and then food and drinks. For 2 of us, our first time there ~$90. If you're not drinking or don't drink you can knock ~$30 off that. read more

Didn't know what to expect coming here, thought it would just be another driving range. I was wrong. Excuse my language but this place kicks ASS! The balls have RFID tracking on the balls and in ground targets. It's all set up on a computer system with many game challenges. 3 stories tall. They even have a make your own Bloody Mary bar with allege thugs you could need, bacon too of course. The food was surprisingly amazing. I would say the turkey burger I had, I added bacon to, was the best burger I have had in the past 25 years since old grandpa made me a burger when I was a kid. This was the second time I had been to TopGolf but this was the first time I had been to this location. The service wasnt the best. No one offered to help us set up the computer and in the end we had to ask a random waitress to get our bill taken care of. The food was mediocre. I ordered their Classic Burger and while presentation was good the food left me wanting more. But the food at this place isnt why people come here. Also we parked really close to the entrance of the place but a man in a golf cart was very persistent on driving us to the front. It was pretty awkward, especially since none of us had cash to tip the guy. I am pretty sure that is why he didnt ask us if we wanted a ride back to our car at the end of the night. We all still had fun but between this location and the one off of I-10, I prefer the I-10 one. read more

Very laid-back and has a hybrid atmosphere perfect for families or a night out with friends. There's three levels to choose from and it just depends on your preference. I usually like the third floor cause it's arrange too but the first floor has neat couches and is closer to the VIP/bar area. It definitely makes for a twist on the regular driving ranges. At night the holes light up and the lights dance to the rhythm of the music. It's really fun and if you bring a group of friends, it's not hard to split the $40 an hour. So the idea of Top Golf is awesome, and the play is pretty fun. It's sort of like a bowling alley for golf. So, I'll start with the positives. There are different types of games you can play for all levels of golfers. It's pretty casual and the beers are a reasonable price. Now for the cons. While the targets are a cool concept, they sometimes don't register your shot, which can be super frustrating. Also, the cost of golf itself is really high, it's $40 per hour per booth, which can accommodate 6 golfers, but you pay the same even for just 2. On top of that, they charge you a non refundable $50 reservation fee, that to me is just unacceptable. That doesn't go towards your game, it's just a service fee. Totally beyond absurd. The only other con is the food, everything is pretty average. The food is expensive but for most items you get a lot of food. All in all I had a pretty good time, but Top Golf definitely has room to improve, and I hope they do. read more

This place is great for golfers and non-golfers alike. Food is good and reasonably priced, the service once you are in a bay is excellent, and the golfing is very fun. The worst parts of Top Golf are the service at the bar/dining area and the wait. The service is just soooooo slow at the bar area, it took 10 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order and then once they brought drinks we didnt see our waitress again, had to get another server to close out our tab. The wait on Friday and Saturdays has been 3 hours, although if you show up after 11pm the wait is much shorter. Something like 30 minutes. Much easier parking at that time also or you can valet for $8. read more

I was invited to an appreciation party from my awesome realtor, Dawn Beltrami, and the invite read that it'd be fun, no matter how little or much you knew about golf. I think the last time I played puttputt was about 10 years ago and I've never, ever done anything more serious than that, so I certainly had my doubts. Since food and drink were included, I was not going to miss out, and envisioned being a party pooper and just watching others play while I enjoyed adult bevvies and free food. Man, was I wrong! I was up enjoying swinging at those balls like a 3-year old. Some went a few feet and rolled across the green, but for the most part, my balls earned points and I actually got the highest score of my team! I read the numerous reviews here before going, but what no one seemed to demonstrate was that this isn't about hitting balls for accuracy or distance. There are numerous and large 'holes' to aim for, a few very close and a few very far. But someone like me who has no experience, it's quite easy to hit balls in a fashion in which has them bouncing into the holes with nets. The balls are chipped so they are recorded and you get points for the parts of the large holes in which your balls falls. Sometimes my balls bounced over the nearest hole and actually went into another hole further out. I couldn't get enough! It really was fun and Dawn didn't lie when she wrote that it would be enjoyable! The party was catered by Topgolf and all the food was good or better. Excellent salad with choice of ranch or champagne vinaigrette (the latter being the clear winner), southern style beans (not quite cooked enough and rather course), some sort of mac and cheese that was very good, sliced BBQ pork slathered in a tangy and not too over-powering sauce, southern style fried chicken nuggets and sliced potato rolls on which one could place the BBQ or the chicken. For dessert, our hostess chose mini cupcakes that were fresh, moist and delicious. The service was flawless and quick and always with a smile. The rest rooms were clean and even though nearly every slot was being used, it didn't feel crowded at all. Upon leaving, I was even offered a ride to my car in a golf cart. Every staff person I encountered were polite and helpful. I would never in a million years have thought to come to this fun experience, but thankfully, my realtor loves the place and her little soiree exposed to me a fantastic new place for parties and good times with friends. read more
