just now I met up with a group of coworker's here for a night out (a Friday) I was very surprised that it was not packed but the wait for food and drinks here was ridiculously long. On top of that there were a ton of people working as wait staff but to get their attention was almost impossible short of walking up touching them on the shoulder and asking can I get some service you'd be hard pressed to get anything. Despite this we have a great round of golf, and drinks afterwards downstairs by the pool table. The poll table we were on is in poor condition with a rip down a portion of the table Separating the material from the table. It just seemed so carelesse to have such a big nice place and a trashy pool table. Also there was no shock for playing pool. They did have A DJ on the 3rd floor you could request music the theme for that night was Rock it was probably 1 of the best music playliste I have heard in a very long time that was a huge positive and one that my coworkers and I commented on between each other a lot! There is plenty of parking here a food is good but a little on the expensive side but that is to be expected for the type of place it is. The staff is not exceptional in any way. No one was friendly so if you're going for great customer service this is not the place to go but if you're going to hang out with friends and have an awesome time this is the place to go. read more

I asked where I can stay it, they said on reception, when I finish my game, I found that my personal bottle of water went to trash. I am very sad. Always a big fan of this place. I've always enjoyed golf but when you're able to be wined and dined with friends whilst hitting golf balls in any which direction with out any real consequences.. how can you complain? The staff is attentive, friendly, and always willing to help if you run into any issues with the computer or the golf ball dispenser. It might seem expensive, but the whole point about top golf is to enjoy it with friends and family. If you are lucky enough to split the bill for the bay itself you can find your self swinging for hours. I must admit that the food is A+ for the type of venue this is. I can see Top Golf quickly becoming the hang out staple in The Woodlands and surrounding towns. The only reason I give it 5 stars is because the valet/ pickup service in the parking lot could be a little more attentive. We were there tonight, and were all 17, and 18. They told us we needed a shaparone over 21 so we got our aunt to come who lives in the area. When we left the building after being told no, one of us said "wow that's ridiculous". When our aunt arrived with Our uncle. They pulled our uncle aside and said that "her" one of our friends, the only female of the group, isnt allowed in. He asked why they said because she said "fuck that black..and I'm not gonna finish it". Both her and myself were blow away from the lies that were created to not let us in because we were kids, there for our friends 17th birthday, mind you we drove an hour to this establishment. We talked to the manager and the one of the women who made theses alligations, and simple said we are so sorry, we never said that, if that's what you heard we deeply apologize. After that the manager said give us one second, he came back and said "no you are not welcome". It was embarrassing for the people who work there and our aunt and uncle, who knows we are not thoses types of people. We have contacted the corporate office of Top Golf and they were blown away from the staff for asking us to apologize and then not letting us in. Excellent serving staff but management is very unprofessional (Bailey and Dennis). Had to deal with a manager for some issues that occurred, she was very vocal and rude. Spoke with operation manager shortly after about her who was also very rude and unprofessional. My group and I were only trying to express to the operation manager about how their supervising manager treated a situation that occurred and nothing more but he still treated the situation in the same manner as the supervising manager did. We were in our bay for about 15 minutes before we even had a waiter ask if we wanted anything. We placed our drink and food order and almost nothing came out right as ordered or in quantity. The Topgolf staff were all very courteous and customer-service oriented. This rating is a result of one of the security guard's unwarranted behavior. While I appreciate Top Golf prioritizes safety, my friends and I were approached by an extremely disrespectful security guard at closing time. The guard announced Top Golf was closed and it was time to go home by yelling at all of the customers. There were several other parties in the bays around us, but the guard approached our group and proceeded to command my friend to put the club down at 1AM on the dot. If I recall correctly, he then asked what we did not understand about what he said. In response, we politely and promptly left. We clearly had prepaid minutes displayed on the screen. We were not doing anything wrong. The yelling was uncalled for and rude. This behavior took away from what I thought would be a fun and friendly atmosphere for my birthday celebration. read more

So I am not much of a golfer but I did enjoy my 1st visit. Went for a company Christmas Party in which we had an entire bay. I can't give it more than 3 stars because I feel like once the hostess was told it was our 1st visit she should have helped us figure out how to use the monitors and how the game play worked. I cannot fathom how this place is rated 4 stars! I have been to Top Golf in both Houston Locations and in Dallas a few times. For those looking for a night out let me help you out with some things I have experienced with this location (this was on a WEDNESDAY, expect the weekends to be even worse. Some of the below apply to ALL Top Golfs): Check in is just ridiculous. Wait in line, forced to buy a $5 card EACH. Can't pay for the game there, have to do that at the bay. Then go from that line to another line to "check in." Then be told the wait will probably be 1-2 hours! I have never waited less than an hour and a half at the probably 8 times I have been. Ohh, and them asking for cellphone, email, full name etc. just reeks of selling my information. They are VERY pushy to get this info. And they have to swipe my drivers license too?! WTF is that? So fine, head to the bar. The service is HORRIBLE. I have to constantly flag the one waitress down to order a drink (at first I thought it was not her fault, but read on). We also ordered the strawberry short cake and it literally was as hard as a rock. I couldn't even cut it. I returned it and the waitress said "oh, yeah that thing is always bad, I don't eat it." Well thanks for the heads up! So two hours of some of the worst service goes by, I ask for my check with LITERALLY 6 waiters/waitresses standing around the bar talking. Ask one for my check and he leaves for 5 minutes and I see him serving other people and clearly not getting my check. So I ask another waitress(my original), she gets it (while carrying on a full conversation with another waitress about personal crap) and then I try to give her the booklet and shes so busy talking she can't hear me, so I just toss it on the bar and head to my bay. $40! $40 freaking dollars for ONE hour of play! Are you kidding me? So I have to pay $40/hr, PLUS a card for each person, PLUS food, PLUS drink, PLUS tip, and PLUS valet if the lot is full! An hour seems like a while but with two people we didn't even finish two games in that hour and we didn't even have time to relax and bullshit. It just felt like a huge rush to spend your moneys worth. This night can EASILY run you over $100 for some driving range with lights. I can go to the top courses in Houston and play for 5 hours for that kind of money. Probably even with a caddy. I know this review is long, for those that have never been I say try it out, but this place is not worth the time, money, and frustration it provides. It's expensive, has bad service, it's just a driving range with GPS balls and lights (you can go to a range and hit 100 balls for like $10 BTW). It's kind of fun but the rush to play as fast as possible takes the joy out of it even further. That's why it gets 2 stars from me. read more

Topgolf is a great hangout place for all ages, but most importantly, it's open late for those young at hearts! ;) It can get busy but nothing too crazy. Think of it like going bowling but golfing with friends. You have your own lane or share lanes and hit balls into the whole. There are clubs there that you can use or you can bring your own. You can tweak the scoring whichever way you want, but someone from your party has to have a membership card, not everyone needs one unless they want to keep their own score. This is great for groups because everyone can get a turn, no real process just kind of winging it as you go. They charge by the hour so just chip in. What I love is the lounge area... comfy seats and if it's cold, there are seat warmers or heaters around. You can order food or drinks as you please since there's a waitress nearby. Nachos are not what you think, does not serve a table, the ingredients are on top of the chip and will only come with like 8 (learned the hard way hehe). The queso and chips are good for the table. Looking around the area, they also do catered lunches and dinners for a group, it looked fancy but very chill, a great place to bring a group around. read more

I'm not a golfer by any means, but I love coming to Topgolf. You don't have to have your own clubs, fancy golf shoes, or even any prior experience at hitting a golf ball - you can still have a ton of fun here. The concept is kind of like darts combined with golf - you try to hit your ball into one of the many "target" holes, and you get points depending on a number of factors. The one with the highest points at the end of 20 balls is the winner for that round. What makes it interesting is that hitting the ball far doesn't necessarily mean you'll get more points than someone who only rolls it into a close goal - you can get double points if you get your balls scored in a row. The staff is always friendly, the place is clean, and the pricing is decent ($40/hour per bay, for up to 5 people). They do have discounts if you come early in the day, and pricing may vary depending on the weekend or holiday, but overall it's a really fun and different way to spend some time outside. Sad to say last night put the nail in the coffin for top golf for us. Maybe a different location would be better as we love top golf. I reserved a bay online for my husbands birthday. Some of our friends got there sooner than we did so they checked in for us which was nice but one of the biggest hassles ever. The girl couldn't fine our reservation even after I screen shot the confirmation and sent it to her. Disaster number one. Secondly after waiting over an hour or so for food and approximately 30 min for drinks we were served and started playing which was fun. However it was extremely hard to find our waitress at all times. When she was at the table she was kind and prompt and did her job. I think she was overwhelmed by the amount of bays she had. Which isn't her fault. I would be overwhelmed with 4 bays of 6+ people at all times. When we asked for checks things were very messed up. So I made it seamless for her by numbering the checks and things after that we're still messed up. Like I said prior I think she was very overwhelmed. So we paid and waited for our cards back and change and in that time another lady from the front brought an entire new group to our bay to start their game before we were gone. She had the audacity to come up and ask us if we were going to leave or just stay and hog the table. So rude. The other group was staring at us like it was our fault. I said we are trying to but we are waiting on our checks. Needless to say we left feeling pushed out. I'm not saying things were horrid but things definitely could have been better.
