Disappointing experience. Came with a group of friends to enjoy a night out. We came on a Sunday and didn't have to wait long for 2 bays so that was fantastic. After we got situated we ordered drinks and food and began playing. An hour and 2 beers in, my friend and I ordered a shot from our server & 5 mins later the manager came asking for our ID's which was strange because we had already been ordering drinks. 10 mins after bringing the shots we were told we were cut off because our server was uncomfortable taking care of us because we showed signs of intoxication. We were all very confused because we had not been there long and the manager couldn't give a reason or like who they thought seemed intoxicated. It was super confusing because we had just bought another hour and nobody wanted to serve us and I kept asking the manager the reason and she just kept giving us an excuse that didn't make sense. I have a lot of fun playing the game here. However the staff is always bad and not on top of anything. The checks always take so long. There's not a lot of food if you have dietary needs and the staff stops you when you bring in food that works with allergies. Overall my group of 12 had a good time. TopGolf is a blast, and if you've never done it before, I highly recommend it. I took two stars away because our service was just OK and the check in process this particular night was a nightmare. This was my wife's first experience and my second experience. When we arrived we knew that we would need 2 bays since everyone wanted to play and each bay holds a max of 6. We immediately went to the counter and asked for the two bays which they said they would give us after we could give them two players cards. We only had one (mine) so we went and stood in line to get the players card. There were 3 people in line ahead of us and 5 people standing behind computers. Not a single one of the 5 people recognized the 4 people in line. They may have been having a computer problem of some sort but they didn't tell us that. One person was literally yelling across the whole place for a particular manager who was no where in sight. We stood in line for about 15 minutes waiting for something to happen. Eventually the manager came over and resolved the issue. Still don't know what it was. Anyway, after we get my wifes card we walk back up to the bay reservation line, hand them our two cards and say 2 bays for 12 people. The wait was about 45 minutes. We were going to receive a text when the bays were ready. No problem, they were pretty busy and have enough to do downstairs to keep us entertained. About 30 minutes into the 45 minutes I get a text saying that the bays are ready. Awesome! I go upstairs to confirm and the person says that our 1 bay for 2 people is ready. Not what we asked for. I told the person that we asked for 2 bays for 12 people to which he looked terrified. It's now an additional hour 15 minute wait for that. Not cool. Lucky for us it was only about another 45 minute wait and I received another text. After that, everything went pretty smoothly, but as I said at the beginning, the service was just OK. We were there for a party and were looking to drink and were only served a couple of times. We will likely return as its such a unique thing to do, but I've been to much better locations before. read more

Went there with a few of my friends. Their limit is 2 drinks per hour, I had 2 drinks in the hour and a half I had been there. I tried to order a vodka cranberry before i left,( still had about 30 min left in our game.) Our waitress didn't even come back to tell me that i was not allowed to have another drink, but she did send someone else to tell me. Not sure if it was because she was new and scared, but it was unacceptable. They told me i was showing signs of alcoholic behavior. Need me remind u i had only had a beer and 1 vodka cranberry before that. Not to mention it took her almost 30 min to split our check, then had to call one of us over there to show her who's was who's. After she had asked us over 3 times, bottom of the line we had terrible service, and we were treated very disrespectfully. Would not recommend being treated by clarissa. After the night we went to the main manager and he told me that I was not served because of their "30 min limit" which none of us were aware of, but he kept blaming it on that. A little bit of everything! Top Golf in Spring has it all and is good for a date, families or just hanging out with friends. While many think you have to love golf and be an expert to play, I've had plenty of women and first time golfers top my score! If golf isn't your thing it's fun to just try and hit a ball into giant craters on a giant playing field! At night it's a treat because the giant targets will become lit up with different colors and even sync with the music occasionally. Top Golf provides clubs and balls so unless you're getting serious, don't worry about bringing your clubs. The food and drinks are great and if you're there in the morning make sure you check out their Bloody Mary bar. The prices aren't too bad. A bay will run you $40 an hour, not per person. During morning hours you can get bays for $20 an hour so even better! With pool tables, fooseball, cornhole, life size jenga and couches spread out everywhere, there is plenty to do if you truly don't want to golf. Even live bands! Disclaimer: This rating is based entirely on my experience tonight. It was my birthday and my family decided we would spend it at TopGolf. It started out great. We were able to get a bay on the 3rd floor, no wait. Our server was great! He was funny and friendly. However, the food and timing was horrible. We ordered the calamari appetizer and it never came. The manager came to us and apologized about the delay and gave us an extra hour of time at our bay. She also told us that they were sending us a fresh calamari appetizer to us. After ordering our entrees and second round of drinks, our calamari finally arrived. However, it came dry and without the sweet chili sauce it is served with. We asked the food runner for the sauce and he said he would be back. He never came back. Our entrees- pork sliders and buffalo chicken sliders came but without the ranch dressing we requested. At this point we asked our server for the chili sauce for our calamari we never received. We were also missing the crab cake sliders we ordered earlier. Our server told us that the kitchen served the last crab cakes to a different group and they had run out. They also offered to bring us new calamari -with the sauce- on the house. We decided to take the chicken & waffles sliders as replacement. My girlfriend & I ordered a Pineapple Punch drink from the bar to split for my birthday, but we were told a few minutes later that they were out. Which only added to the disappointment of the night. The manager came to us again and apologized for the inconvenience and offered us a free dessert- donut holes. These were excellent. Our party thoroughly enjoyed injecting our own jelly/cream into the donuts. Overall, my birthday night at TopGolf was disappointing. The wait staff and management were great and did everything they could to ensure our time was up to the standards they expect. A pretty cool experience. More of a place for the casual player, or the even non players looking for a fun night out with friends. The setup takes a minute to get used to, but they are very helpful about walking you through the steps. Service right to your bay as well, typical drinks and food. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the products, great stuff! As I said, not the typical environment if you're a serious player looking to work on your swing, but a fun place to go with some friends for a casual afternoon, or night out. I've been here twice now, both for a birthday party. This place is like a huge, multi level bowling alley... only it's a driving range kind of alley. Each 'bay' is set up with sofas, cocktail tables, golf clubs, and TVs. You set up each game at the bay just as you would for bowling. You also get your own waiter. There are bars throughout also, including a large bar and lounge area in the main entrance. It can get very packed with a long wait on the weekends, and also pretty expensive. The staff is really welcome and friendly. The only thing that sucks is that if you go on a weekend. Expect them to tell you a 2-4 hour wait. Now this can easily be cut in half for wait time bc the people in line before you either leave or cancel. I typically like to drink beforehand. The place is really clean. Also they have an area where there is a live dj or band performing. There is a nice seating on the 3rd floor. Oh Top Golf. I do enjoy top golf, and I've been to a couple of their locations in DFW, but my experience here, particularly the service at the one in Spring was pretty dismal. Firstly, my friend and her family wanted to get 2 bays together so that my family could play next to hers and they said the guy at the front desk said there were none available together. So they got to their bay and saw that all 10 bays to the left of theirs were empty. When my family got there, we requested the bay next to my friend's family and were granted it, no problem. However when we got to the bay, the ball machine wasn't working and it took us about 15 minutes to flag someone down for assistance. We ended up moving one over to the left. Soon after we ordered some food and drinks. About 30 minutes later our food came, but no silverware, no drinks, no waters. It took another 10 minutes for me to find our waitress and request silverware and she just kind of nodded and slowly walked away. About 10 minutes later she came back with silverware, and by this time, our food was cold. Also, still no drinks or waters. We ended up taking waters from my friend's table. Our drinks finally came another 15 minutes after that. The game itself was fine, but the service was exceptionally bad and I'm not sure that I would return to this location. read more

FUN! You do not need to be a golfer to have fun here. All you have to do is be willing to hit a ball with someone else's club. Yep, you don't even need clubs. It's like being on a patio with your friends, playing at golf. Hub is an old golfer and I'm finally attempting to play. We went here because it seemed like a great place to spend an hour and let me get in some low stress practice. The set up is a little confusing for a first timer, so talk to the person by the door greeting you. They can get you started. The prices are a little steep, unless you bring several friends. Up to 6 people can share one bay, so that brings the cost right down. Mornings are less than afternoons, so get there early for cheaper fun. You pay a one time fee to get your card and set up your profile. After that, you're in like Flynn. The bays have nice seating areas that are very comfy. There are numerous fans, so even the sultry Houston weather is more bearable, plus you are out of the direct sun. Nice. They have waiters that help you get food and drinks. They're really nice. Actually everyone there was very nice and very helpful. The person escorting you to your bay can help you get the players set up and get you going on your games. There are clubs at each bay for men and women and they supply the balls too. The playing is easy and fun. Don't forget that they have an ATM in the lower section, as well as A/C with couches, big TV and some pool tables. We have not had food here, so I'll have to wait to tell you about that. Nor have we used the bar. However, for fun and games, I cannot recommend this highly enough. read more

First, lets start with the Top Golf concept. You rent out a bay, play as much golf as you want in the time frame you pay for, while having a table at a full service bar and restaurant right in the bay with you. As far as the location goes, when the sun sets, you are driving balls directly into it. Bring sunglasses. Good sunglasses. This also means it gets HOT. Very hot. But its okay, because every two bays shares a reciprocating fan. $40 an hour for a bay (and remember, this plays typically runs at capacity), and they couldn't give each bay its own controllable fan. Priorities. The fans feel great, for the 50% of the time they are blowing in your direction. Did I say "when"? I meant "If". We have been put in a bay, in the blistering Texas summer, with no working form of climate control. I guess we were not the only people that asked to move, as the waiter told us he didn't know why they don't just close the bays. No one wants to use them without a fan, and for good reason. Service is always hit or miss. Very inconsistent. read more

I spoke to a manager to simply tell her about the issues so she could check on the delays before she had a lot of complaining customers. Her response (repeated at least 3x) was "we are very popular this evening. Finally, I just said "well I just wanted to inform you of the problems. But the opportunity to be outside in the Winter (I'm a transplanted Michigander), whack a few balls with family and friends plus dine on great food- I couldn't resist. We've had two great experiences at TopGolf. It's fun and innovative. It's not just for golfers. There are many family friendly activities; Wii, JUMBO Jenga and Pool, just to name a few. Great food and an extensive beverage selection. Seriously, the food here is fantastic. I always get the Turkey + Avocado Wrap. Outstanding. My only complaint- those STUPID TopGolf membership cards. I always lose mine. I'm NOT the only one who hates them. And, you'll get charged $1 to replace it. Get with the times. Develop AN APP like every other business. It much more user friendly than carrying around membership cards. That's so 1980's..LOL. read more

What a cool place! A group of 4 of us went in on a Friday night around 7:30. It was packed and we were worried it would take a long time to get in. We checked in and they told us it would take less than an hour for us to get a lane. We didn't mind and went to the bar to order some food and drinks. Less than 5 minutes later we got a text that told us our lane was ready! They just transferred our food and drink order over to the lane and we were good to go. The woman that walked us to our lane was so helpful and showed us how everything worked. You pay at the lane and it's easy to split payments between people which helps when you're with a group. There are men's and ladies clubs there to use. They play fun music and the servers were great and really attentive the whole night. We are so excited they have a location in San Antonio too so we can go back soon! read more

Love Top Golf! They started doing reservations which is awesome because it can get pretty busy. They also raised their nightly price but separated the day into 3 price categories. Before noon is $20 an hour (I believe), 12-5 is $35/hr, and anytime after that is $45 an hour. We went on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 and had a party of 6. The food was amazing and service was pretty good. The only downside is the poor planning on the direction that the bays face. It was already 95 degrees and humid out, but we had the sun pointed directly on us for hours, which made it 10x hotter. The fans have some power but they alternate so you don't have a constant fan which sucks. I know this is Houston but it still sucked. It was my first time coming here in the summer and I probably won't ever go again unless it's in the morning hours! Can't wait until cooler weather! read more

TopGolf is a truly unique concept and the employees do a great job turning it into an amazing experience. For some of us in our group, it was our first time coming here, so there was a slight learning curve; setting up membership cards, finding the bay where you will be playing and learning how to operate the game interface. However, the staff seamlessly walked us through every step. The food and drinks were first class; They also have 3 rotating local beers on tap. We enjoyed the Mushi, which is a Mexican-style sushi and the Pepperoni & Sausage flatbread pizza, chips with queso & guacamole and the Blonde Brownie Bites. You can pre-register your membership, view the entire menu and take a virtual tour; Basically, you could plan ahead and know exactly what to expect before you even walk in the door. My friends and I came on Sunday. You have to be a member of Topgolf. It's $5 dollars to join and if you lose your card, it's $1 dollar for the replacement. Then you have to a different line to get your bay. We had no problems getting 2 bays next to each other. It's pretty fun here. If you have your own set of clubs, you can bring them or they have some already provided. I need to remember for next time to bring my own set to practice with. Our waitress was great! She kept checking up on us every 5 to 10 minutes. I think this might be the next best thing that my friends and I are going to do often together. read more

Horrible Experience ! Had my trucks catalytic converter stolen Saturday and nothing could be done, we walked outside and talked for about 15 minutes with family and friend. Security passed over 10 times in those 15 minutes but couldn't see anyone snooping around cars while we were inside.
