First time ever going to Topgolf. I met up with some friends and my friend had reserved a Bay for 2 hours. So, we got to enjoy hitting golf balls in the hole on the fly or bouncing into the edge, etc. You don't need to play golf per se, as you can play different VR games, etc. It's a fun time to hang out with friends/family/SO. They have simple bar food and a extensive drink menu. The server was nice and friendly. Her service was nice and attentive. We ordered some Nachos and chips with guacamole/salsa. Topgolf completely missed the mark. The staff failed terribly-- unorganized, inattentive, and unhelpful from the start. I made a 2 hour bay reservation since it gets insanely packed and wait times are ridiculously long without reservations and paid $40 pre-arrival. After checking in, we ordered 5 drinks and waited close to 45 minutes for drinks to arrive to the bay after checking in with the staff multiple times. Because of the inconvenience, they offered an extra 30 minute gameplay, which couldn't be met because there was another reservation after ours. Which, I understand however, if the business was organized enough, they would know to not offer something that isn't feasible. Instead, they rushingly offered a $50 discount off the $160 gameplay charge ($80/hour). To make things worse, staff showed up 20 minutes before our session ended with the check, stalling us and cutting into our gameplay. They told us to check out through the app, which sounded easy enough with Apple Pay, except the check wasn't even ready to pay. More time was wasted because of the staff's clear disorganization and lack of training. For a business that charges premium prices, the least I'd expect is a smooth and professional checkout process. Instead, the staff's incompetence made even the simplest part of the visit frustrating, leaving a terrible final impression that completely overshadowed the entire experience. read more

Went here for their 50% off on Mondays. It can be pretty busy so make sure to get a reservation on their website. The workers there were very attentive and kept on checking in with us. It was super fun and a great introduction to golf. Just keep in mind that you would have to pay additional $5 per person if it's their first time. read more

Pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy and parking was fine. The tater tots were tasty and the friends got the platter that served 4-6 people. Their sliders, fries and other items were good. Nothing was cold or had been under a heat lamp for a while. The only official thing that is vegan is the fruit- you can get other stuff modified or if you are okay with potential cross contamination you can get fries or tots. The server and his manager were great. When a sundae got lost in the shuffle and we had asked a few times and waited for thirty plus minutes they gave us free tots and did some comps. Huge thank you! Other than the sundae getting lost (one eventually found its way into the girls' stomachs) drinks were consistently refilled. More like 2.5 stars. This review is for their New Years event which was a whopping $500 for a bay upto 6 people. For that price, i was actually expecting more of a new years atmosphere-it was just like regular game play with some hats and stuff for new years kept in the bay. Some food was promised and offered-queso dip,artichoke dip,extremely hard pretzels,donuts holes,cookies and brownies. Tiny quantities (barely enough for 2) if hummus and pimento cheese was kept in the bay. Really not worth the $500 we spent. They had said there will be surprises throughout the night which was just 2 bays winning a draw for something. I have been to this top golf probably 9 times. Don't get me wrong, it's a great place to hit the range at night. But should definitely only be a place to hit golf balls. If you order food, it won't come. But you will get charged for it. Last time I was there someone hit a sprinkler and caused an evacuation. Yet they made us pay for our drinks even though we had to evacuate and leave them. This place is just a mess. I was planning a graduation celebration and the graduate wanted to celebrate at Top Golf. I wanted everything to be perfect as our law graduate spent the last three years slaving over her books. After requesting info, Samantha immediately responded. I'm a perfectionist and wanted to cover every detail of the food, bays, parking and you name it, I asked for it. Samantha's patience was beyond measure. We had several correspondence and she answered every email I sent to her promptly. I wanted the best bays for the celebration and she did not disappoint. The food was delicious with lots of options. The drinks were excellent as well. We ordered wings, burgers, fries, pretzel bites, hummus, nachos, chips and salsa and all were tasty. We had 2 bays side by side at the top floor and everyone enjoyed the spacious and perfectly located bays. The couches were comfy. EVERYONE enjoyed themselves and most of all the celebrant was happy. Our server was good. She was a little slow but the kitchen made up for her shortcomings. Also we were early. They won't let us check in even 15 minutes early. The bays were empty. We've previously had good experiences here but after today's experience I don't think I'll be returning. Like usual, I made a reservation online with a 25% deposit. The employee with a man bun said we needed to have a credit card tab open. He said he's been working there for 3 years but we've been playing at this location for a few years and we've never heard of that requirement. Topgolf is just fine. Been here plenty of times for birthdays, get togethers, etc. it's an easy activity with convenient drinks and food to get the buds together. I think it's overpriced but I guess you're paying for the novelty. You can try and reserve bays on the app but anytime I've done that I've gotten bays on the 3rd level which I don't prefer. Food is typical bar food but pretty good. We like the nachos and the cookie sundae. Service is very mid, almost kinda bad. They'll round but they aren't overly pleasant and often forget essentials like utensils when food is served and water refills even when asked. We went on oct 5 at 8pm for a group of 7. We made a reservation which is highly recommended as we had not wait and just checked in and went to the bay which was really nice. It took about 15 mins for our server Bella to come over which we understood because it was busy and we were getting settlers in with the names and signing up anyway but waters would've been nice. What we didn't understand was why waters took about 20 mins and when we asked for refills we had to ask someone else because Bella was no where to be found. We ordered the donut holes and some nachos and drinks. The drinks took about 15 mins which isn't bad since they are bar drinks. The donuts took about 20 mins and the nachos took over 50mins!! We ordered our first round of drinks with the waters which all came at once even though the bar drinks probably took longer and she just didn't want to make two trips to our bay. When she came back with the drinks that's when we ordered the food. When the donuts came someone else brought them and we asked for refills on water and after waiting 20 mins he didn't come back. I then had to go down the bays looking for a worker to ask them to cancel the nachos because of the crazy wait time and we needed more water refill. She canceled the nachos right away and refills came our 10 mins later. 5 mins after the water refills came out from another server Bella came back and said she was waiting for the nachos but we canceled them and asked if we wanted them since they would be ready soon but we said no because we only had 5 more mins of playing time and just wanted to leave after and she brought the tab super fast. We spent more time waiting on food and drinks than actually enjoying it. I wish the drinks and food were settled as quickly as she wanted to settle the tab with us. Not going back for a while due to the horrible and chaotic service. It's a fun experience just eat and drink before coming here on a weekend and bring your own water at that point too! So overall the experience is fun but for the price point i definitely expect more. Eat before for sures and bring your own water and don't order food or drinks here unless you like waiting ages for both and never expect refills! I had a mixed experience at top golf in Burlingame today. First let say I enjoyed the golfing experience, my server, and even the nice bartender on the third floor (thanks for the espresso martini ). However I had an issue with one of the team members at the front desk. Maybe he was new but he was not very helpful and a bit dismissive which was unfortunate. Early mornings are best. Low sun, not intense. Easy going. Food starts cooking around 11:30 maybe 11:00am. If you don't want to be tempted from purchasing food that''ll interfere with your session, steer clear of noon and definitely 12:30pm when guests flock in for their lunch break. Good quiet times are to be had if you go early in the morning. 9:30am is your best bet for a reservation on a Monday, if reserved an hour and a half prior to attending. They fill bays right to left starting with west to east on the third floor. By the time I left at 12:30pm only the third floor terrace and a portion of the second was occupied. As bays become vacant they backfill or refill the vacant bays that were previously occupied with next inline reserved guests. Efficient. The smell of developing food from the kitchen is tempting. Resist, if you can. Food and golf grips don't mix personally. Bring your own clubs if possible. You'll be hitting from astroturf and rubber raised tees. Also in the morning they have overhead heaters to keep the spectator area warm, if needed for those who don't dress warm. I personally kept with practice mode and made up my own games by hitting the ball wherever i wanted. You get the most balls if you make up and play your own games. Just playing for skill, not points. Just hit balls where you want, develop patterns and learn the terrain to see how the ball rolls. A slight slope is apparent around the large holes, all holes in general if you prefer to roll the ball in. There's ridges and slight variances if your preference is to run the ball to the hole. That's why going early is prized because the range is clear and your ball can run freely. Go early and enjoy. They also have a football end zone goalpost upright in the center of the range about 50 yards out. See picture. Tried that and that was interesting. They have an onscreen game that goes along with it. Roblox is my other favorite game, but I just kept with practice mode for this occasion. Overall a good experience, but also be aware the talkers, the help arrives around 11:30am to noon to hustle you. They become obnoxious when they crowd together with four, five and even one or two when they have nothing to do. Look! I'm wrkng. It'd be so nice to play your own music in your own bay and bring hearing protection if you prefer filtering out some of the chaotic crowd noise that sometimes presents itself. Initially two hours, extended to three. Two and a half hours should be your max, otherwise you're pushing it. Just to let you know. Grouchiness and irritability sets in. Be forewarned because the fresh ones are too eager to interrupt, interfere and bother you because they're looking for pay. Also you may have credits from past reservations that for whatever reasons you were unable to attend that was probably due to anxiety from all the people you unknowingly found out recently were getting free money that they've been seriously working on to get them caught and found out. The hammer falls with order. The scenes seen with reveal. Things to know: Stay behind the yellow line One person in the swing zone At all times. Do not test the netting by falling into it. Attending at the slow times, is the best times. Peaceful I enjoyed my experience for the most part. Good weather until the sun came out from behind the clouds. Then it got hot from standing in it constantly whereas before there was cloud cover. And furthermore... You only tip the help a percentage of the food purchased and not the cost of the entire session. Get REAL!!! Which reminds me one time I purchased a lemonade from the bar and got a solid full tasting glass to drink. Whereas the drink I ordered from the help was watered down. There maybe some type of stacking that occurs where you have to tip the WAIT, the TENDER and the they're looking at the full tally (golf included) in which they draw their perceived tip from. Somebody may need to bring this up and clarify. I'll check Reddit or ChatGPT possibly. I just want hit balls and watch the ball roll. read more

great experience last night celebrating a birthday at topgolf. I booked a two bay bundle online a week prior. The day of I received a text to confirm that the bay will be ready for me. About 10 minutes prior to my time I received a text confirmation that my bays are ready and I can head straight to the bay. I thought this was convenient as we did not have to go to the check-in process. As soon as I arrived to the bay, there was an employee there to greet me and help me get set up while I waited for the rest of our group to arrive. We ordered food directly from the bay with our hostess, and we also brought our own cake which was a non-issue. Personally, the only part that was a little bit confusing was setting up each player for the game and having to register folks. We ended up just skipping that part and everyone played off of 1 players account. If you want your name to populate on the board, you have to register your account using your phone number and pay a $5 one time membership fee. our group was not too particular about tracking each person's score we just sort of skipped that. I felt like setting each person up would take another 10 to 15 minutes. The crew came in with a big sign to sing happy birthday to my friend, which was a nice touch. The scoreboard also showed us exactly how much time was remaining in our booth, which was helpful. Overall, highly recommend for a fun night out with friends. There was lots of children and families there as well. I probably would not recommend children under 5 for safety reasons. There are space heaters in each booth and it stayed nice and warm for us on a cold night. read more

And also there are cars parked at the EV chargers that weren't even charging, where were their fake rule reinforcements??? I've been to Topgolf a few times, but I haven't really been to one for 6 years, even though I work right next to one, and I never been to this newer location, this is my first time here. I'm in Silicon Valley this Afternoon. I really like the atmosphere here. I got a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwhich, but this time with Tater Tots. I really like and appreciate Tater Tots. It looks unreal. The Fried Chicken Sandwhich came out scorching hot. The Tots were out of this world, extra Crunchy, and the dipping Sauce was somewhat smoky. I give this 4.3 stars. OMG, I'm amazed by the quality of food at Top Golf. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive to play as well as to eat. Not to mention that their portion size is a bit small. Aside from that, it's worth the experience. My boyfriend and I had 3 drinks each, and 4 different dishes. We ordered these items: Steak Nachos: (10/5) : These are so worth it !! I love that each chip had their own topping and they were so crunchy. The style wasn't like the traditional nachos where the chips are piled up and the ones at the very bottom don't have any cheese or toppings. I was absolutely shocked with how much i loved these nachos. Definitely a must try ! Hot Honey Pepperoni Flatbread (5/5): I'm not a huge pepperoni lover, but this was pretty good. The hot honey complimented it so well, and it was so good. The crust is thin and crunchy which made it even better. Buffalo Wings (3 /5): I was a bit disappointed with this. The chicken was cooked well, but it lacked flavor. I wish i had a picture of this. They only give you like 6 wings and i don't feel like it's worth the price. Some of the drinks i've ordered: Strawberry Skinny Marg (): This was like a strawberry lemonade. It was very sweet, but once i let the ice melt, it became more enjoyable. Watched this Top Golf location come up during the pandemic as I was living nearby the Guadalupe River trail. Always wanted to experience since then. The stars finally aligned! This is a huge venue with three floors covering around 110 all weather bays. There is ample seating area inside with bars, board games and beer garden style long benches. We were 5 of us and booked the appointment initially for 2 hours. We ended up extending further by 30 min to finish the ongoing game. We were all amateurs in playing golf ranging from played a couple of times to never. Block Party game was a fun warm up before moving into the popular Angry Birds. We finished off with the Fan Favorite game which was a step up as it counted the misfiring shots as well. In the future, I wish Top Golf integrates Augmented Reality glasses/headsets like Vision Pro into the experience especially for games such as Angry Birds. Coming to the food/drinks, the menu has a decent selection of beer/margaritas, appetizers and handheld flatbreads/burgers. I enjoyed the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich with Tater Tots. I've been here a few times and usually love it, but last Saturday was really disappointing. We came for a couples' date night, ordered food, two pitchers of beer, and a cocktail. When we tried to order another round, our waitress told us about a "2 drinks per person per hour" policy I'd never heard before. The confusing part: there were 6 of us (so technically 12 drinks allowed). We only had 2 pitchers (6-8 beers depending on what employee you ask) plus my cocktail. That's still under the limit. Yet the waitress followed the guys to the bar, loudly told them they couldn't order, and embarrassed them in front of everyone. Another staff member then threatened to kick us out if we tried to order at the bar again! Only to later admit the policy was more of a "control measure" and eventually brought us another pitcher. Got asked if we wanted to extend our time only to find out there was already another reservation so we couldn't extend..... so why waste our game time to stop and have that entire conversation without first checking if it was even possible to extend? Also in our party the only 2 of us that ate there got gnarly food poisoning and we're still going through it. This is even after we had to send a drink back for being made incorrectly.
