They also have a monthly deal where paying $20 gets you one hour of free golf and a free appetizer! Speaking of the food, I got the Mediterranean plate last time and it was pretty subpar. I liked the pita bread and the hummus, but I hated the other sauces. The veggies weren't cut thin enough, so they were actually pretty annoying to chew at some points. The gameplay itself is fine! It's fun to just hang out and learn a lot from the people around you by checking out their form. The ball machines do malfunction sometimes, which happens. Also, if you're left-handed, you can just ask a staff member to bring you a left-handed club set, which is nice. As for the venue, parking is easy and there is EV charging right out front (though the charging is kind of expensive). There's a cool store in the front, and the vibe is great--there were lots of people hanging out for the FIFA games. Most importantly, the managers here are really nice. We had a couple of mishaps, but they refunded me some money and are very generous with giving out coupons to make things right, so it was all good. They have a cheaper option too- $199 for the same length of time, but walk ins only, no reservations. The time allotted is 2 hours for up to 6 people. We've been going about once a week and it's so worth it! When you order food or drinks, you also get 10% off for having the summer pass. Our favorite games to play are angry birds and sonic. Service is alright. We get a text when the bay is ready so we go straight there. They recently changed to QR code ordering so we don't really interact with people there (only when food and drinks are being delivered). Overall we have a good time here and still have about a month left of the summer pass. Highly recommend! read more

One weird thing I will note, however, is the mandatory charge for a new membership. It feels a bit unnecessary since you don't really seem to get any actual perks out of it. Such an underrated hang out spot. I haven't read the other reviews, and I'm guessing it has to do with expensive food/drink and the kids serving not being up to people's unrealistic expectations. The biggest problem I've ever had in 4 lifetime visits here is one of the kids forgetting to bring my soda 3 times, and even then he was polite, apologetic, and brought it after a few reminders. First, golf: don't worry. Almost everyone sucks. I do. It's a great place to learn and have fun with friends. The food and drink taste great. Yes, the prices for food and non-adult beverages are absurd. That's true. I had a wonderful company party here. The staff was within the vicinity ready to take orders at a moment's notice. We had a buffet style setup at our section and the trays were kept relatively clean. First time checking out this specific Topgolf (I've only ever been to the massive one in Las Vegas). We had a team offsite here recently and ended up with two of the middle bays up on the 3rd floor. It was nice to be right in the middle for the golf. It was perfect for a work event because everyone got into the friendly competition...even folks who have never played golf. You just log into the tablet at the bay and pick your games - it was hilarious watching everyone try to outscore each other. Food-wise, it's pretty standard bar food, nothing too special but it does the job for a group. We ordered a big spread of pepperoni pizza, nachos, wings, sliders, chips & salsa, and some shrimp. The drinks were solid, though. Most of the team stuck to beers and margaritas, but I went with my usual Old Fashioned (had one with Bulleit and another with Woodford) and both were well-made. Parking was super easy since they have a huge lot. The EV charging stations happened to be out of service when we went, but it's good to know they actually have them for next time. If you reserve ahead they will charge you a fee to hold your reservation & they will not refund you or put that money towards the tab but you will have a bay ready for you at the time of your scheduled reservation. We hosted my Uncle's Birthday here, many of them were experiencing the TopGolf experience r for the first time - and they all had a great time! Let's start with customer service, The Floor Manager Tokyo was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Our servers Hector and Jorge were great and on top of everything! Great service can make or break a party and this was huge. We had 2 stalls, where you have a maximum of 12 players - 6 per stall. You are also allowed to have guests that are non-players. We did the 2-Bay Flex Package where it includes a total of 2.5 hours of game play, 30 minutes is free as part of the package. The F&B (Food and Beverage) is up to $150 that's included in the package. What that means is spend up to $150 in F&B because it's included and if you spend less, there won't be a refund. Anything over the $150 will be added to the total package. We had at least 3 platters which was more than enough for a group of about 12 players. Looking forward to returning. One of the attendees was already planning to also celebrate his birthday here in November! read more

It was New Year's Eve and the wife and I were wondering what we would do with our boys. I've been to top golf but was the families first time and it turned out to be a great time. We started out with our amazing Host David, he took the time to explain rules, and even got my boys some left handed clubs which helped a lot. Getting signed up and picking our game was smooth and each time David gave us the time and help we needed to ensure it was a good start. Once we got settled, it was time to order!!! - pretzel bites - warm jams fresh as soon as they came out 5/5 Fries - missing more melted cheese or some nacho cheese over the top 3/5 Burger- man I enjoyed every bite of that burger it was good and the tater tots were perfect. The ambiance was amazing, spacious, and comfortable. We got a booth dead center so it made for a great view, but even when I looked behind me, everything looked very spacious and people all had a place to relax, wait, or just enjoy the scene. Overall this was a great New Year's Eve experience, and my oldest definitely wants to come back again. Do I love top golf... yes. But sometimes it's so busy and things start to lack! I've been to this location multiple times now and have had the same experience multiple times. Food and drinks are not a make it or break it thing when at top golf but waiting for a drink is kind of a let down when your food is at the table! Food orders tend to come rather quickly especially with how many people are at top golf. However, drinks especially mixed drinks, often take the longest. The wait time to get a bay is also killer. Note to anyone reading this, join the waitlist from your phone before you go. It'll give you a pretty accurate time frame and even if you aren't there when your bay is available, they'll let you extend the window 30 minutes to hurry and get to top golf before losing your spot. The price is not bad especially if you have a bay with the max amount of people, 6. It's a great time and 2 hours here flys by. I am not a sports person, nor do I think I care for golf, but it was a great venue for a small birthday gathering with a small group of friends. We were so excited to visit top golf for first time with our party of 12! When I booked, I specifically mentioned that our group included elderly guests and a baby in a stroller. I was assured that the setup would work well for us. However, when we arrived, we were assigned two bays with high-top seating that was not appropriate or comfortable for our group. I went to speak with staff about switching bays, but the information kept changing. First, I was told we might need to wait 30 minutes which I was willing to do, then later it became two hours. As a result, our group spent the event feeling cramped and uncomfortable and not able to sit together. We were also told that our bay time would begin when we actually started playing. We didn't begin until much later after our reservation started troubleshooting the Bay's, yet a staff member came by after only 1.5 hours to tell us our time was ending, despite having reserved two hours. They were able to reimburse us $25 for the time we didn't play. So just know the phone lines, people downstairs, and the waiters all give different Information. Overall, this place has a lot of potential, but I wasn't able to relax and enjoy the time unfortunately. If you're visiting with kids, elderly family members, or anyone who would benefit from the lower couch seating, be sure to specifically request it in advance and confirm it again when you arrive. The golf was fun though and wish we were able to actually enjoy it, not sure I'm willing to pay 300-400 to take a chance again. read more

Very disappointed about our most recent experience here. We ordered the funday platter which came with chips, pretzel bites, Mac bites, and chicken sliders. When the order came, it had mini corn dog bites, chicken sliders, and chips. Half the platter was filled with chips. When we asked about the Mac bites and pretzels, the server just said "oh we're out." Why did no one tell us prior to giving us our food? If that was the case, we would've ordered something else. We asked if we could replace the corn dogs for something else since it wasn't part of the original order and our server said no. He said we had to order something else... We ended up ordering cheese fries and there was barely any cheese. When I saw barely, I mean barely. It looked like regular French fries. Since we are health care workers, my friend asked our server about the healthcare discount. The server didn't even look at my friend in the eye. Instead he let out a big sigh and said okay. My brother was visiting and he's a big golfer so I suggested we check out Top Golf. Neither of us had been before. Overall, we had a good time. Because we arrived on a Tuesday, prices were half off. We didn't make a reservation and just walked in and they had one bay available. And lucky for us, it was on the top floor. The staff on the third floor were fantastic. The girls were friendly and helpful. We only ordered drinks but we needed some help figuring out how everything works since it was a first time (plus we're old people). I wasn't happy about the $5 membership per person especially when it wasn't mentioned to me when I walked in. And I don't remember seeing that on the website or price list. But the main reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because of the staff person when we first walked in. The young man at the counter wasn't friendly or welcoming. He could barely say two words. I said, "hi!" And even that didn't trigger him to start doing his job. So I said, "how are you?!" Like the guy was totally out of it or couldn't give two shits about his job. Normally in that situation I would just turn around and leave. Bad customer service is my big pet peeve. But we had driven far to be there and my brother really wanted to play. So we stayed. Note to management: please make sure your staff at the check-in desk have some training. They are the front line of your company. You want your customers to feel welcome. That guy definitely didn't make us feel welcome. I recently went to Topgolf for a networking event on a weekday evening. I've been here before, but this experience was excellent. There is plenty of parking, as well as charging stations for EV vehicles. We had a private suite where we networked while enjoying appetizers and drinks. The appetizers included a charcuterie spread with cheese and fruit, as well as a vegetable plate. The soft pretzel bites were outstanding, as was the dip that came with the vegetables. We then received a lesson from a golf master who was amazing--funny and knowledgeable. He showed us how to hold the club and how to swing, and later walked around while we were playing to answer questions and provide tips. Dinner was served when we went out to play. The chicken and beef were very tasty, as were the vegetables. We were able to take our food outside to the bays that were reserved for us, and servers came around regularly for drink orders. I had a prosecco and later a chardonnay with dinner. The food and drinks were a step above what you would expect at a place like this, and the service was very good. We had two hours to play, and since this was the week before the Super Bowl, we also enjoyed the sunset and the view of the lit‑up Levi's Stadium. Arrived at TopGolf SanJose with grandson at 10:45am. When asked for a booth we were told there was an hour wait due to staffing of the facility. What?! isn't topgolf a retail service to customers? We were placed on a wait list and told we could go to the restaurant as they are open. sitting in the restaurant for 25 minutes not one employee present and no one has approached us. Now it is 11:30 and an employee shows up in restaurant and starts setting up the bar area. Apparently I was lied too as they were not open for customers. This experience was absolutely not enjoyable to share a moment with family's or with friends. Samantha was made aware of our issues and was able to get us access immediately. I've visited Topgolf on many occasions, including multiple trips to the San Jose location. Overall, the experience has usually been very positive--the food is great, the service is typically friendly, and the facilities are clean, organized, and well-equipped with provided clubs. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing due to the service. Our server, Thomas, was rude and did not demonstrate appropriate customer service. Our conversation was private and conducted in another language, as we believed we may have been undercharged and were discussing how to address it. Despite this, he appeared to eavesdrop and made inappropriate comments that implied we might not be able to pay, even though we were fully able and willing to do so immediately.
