I took my family here yesterday for another go around and I must say the experience was night and day compared to the last time. First, we got a different seating arrangement which was an L-shaped couch area. That was perfect since my daughter was there in a stroller and eye level. The table top options are nice but not baby friendly for me. I was concerned with the weather being too cold to enjoy the experience, but Top Golf had it covered. Right on the bay area were heaters on the ceiling that made you feel comfortable and required less bundling up. You could play outside and feel toasty while you wait your turn. As for our server, her name was Mackenzie and she was phenomenal. She answered all our questions, was sweet and super attentive. You can tell she really wanted to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and I did get the Mac & Cheese bites this time. Those were great!! It is a seasonal item and does sell out due to its popularity which I totally get now. My husband had done this a couple times in different cities, Las Vegas, Denver, and convinced myself and my BIL to do it here, so we figured whatever, why not. The set up was really simple, and they had various clubs at your station that you could choose from and it was actually really nice! The food was good, I got the nachos and my husband got a sampler of the wings that were good, and the beers of course were a must. I've been to this place a couple of times now. The first time I went with an extremely large group and they were able to split up over several different base. It was a fun experience and it's neat to watch everybody go up and take their swing and see what they can get. you'll definitely want to reserve bays in advance if you can. There is a holding fee so be aware of that. However, this will save you a lot of time having to wait for any of the bays open if you come on a first-come first-serve basis. They do have a full bar on the first floor that serves drinks and food. If you're looking to take a break before, during, or after your golf play. Or if you just want to enjoy the views and watch other people play you can do that too! One of the the last visits that I made here was for national women's golf day. They had a free class tutorial for ladies coming to learn more about golf. They taught us about our grip, posture, and swing. It was really fun and helpful and everybody really enjoyed the class. The instructors a lot of great insight and were able to give us tips and tricks to improve. Overall: A I find location for something new! I've been to Topgolf a few times since they've been open and its just a really fun atmosphere with friends. Surprisingly, they have really good food too and its not just like any old 'bar' food. Their queso was extremely melty and dippable if you know what I mean. The prices for the bay's itself varies from how business the place is with the weekend costing the most at 50 dollars per hour per bay. However, if you have a group of 6 with you and have it split, then it's actually not that much. Its perfect for a date night too since the bay can feel kind of cozy with its cushion. With this being in Florida, they really should increase the number of fans and maybe turn them off when its off season. It gets pretty humid and hot after good 15 minutes. Also, initially, anyone that wants to play, will need to buy in a 5 dollar 'lifetime' membership. Meh about that. I guess it helps you track your scores if you're reaaally into it. They have newsletter you can subscribe which will score you some discounts and promo codes once in a while. HAVE FUN! read more

Topgolf a fun and exciting outting with friends or family. We went as a group of 7 and my daughter called and found out you can do a reservation for $50. Upon our arrival we observed the price of $45 an hour which seems high but when you think about the price of a theme park visit then this is not a bad deal. I asked did the reservation fee get applied to $45 bay fee and the person said no. I was shocked and expressed my lack of understanding and it was explained that sometimes there is a several hour wait thus the reservation fee. I asked if there was a current wait and he say no so I requested my $50 be applied to the per hour fee and a manager was called and she graciously agreed. So buyer beware... I would not pay a fee and not have it applied to the overall cost. I do not agree with that practice. Moving on we went to our bay and we were greeted by a helper to show us how to sign on and get started. The process involved a $5 fee per person for a lifetime membership which seems wasteful when part of party does not live in FL. So some initial bumps for the newbies. The bay was nice and essentially you are outside with a cover and lots of fans. You can practice by hitting balls or do that the entire time and rotate hitting balls with your party. Or play a real golf game somewhat with par and everything. There is instant replay of your balls and a timer to let you know how much time is left. It is to fun to just watch. It is a big beautiful three story facility. The menu items looked good and this go around we just had appetizers. A beautiful pretzel with cheese, nut, sausage, prosciutto, and fruit in the pretzel holes. This appetizer was beautiful and delicious. The other appetizer was steak nachos served with guac and jalapenos. Another beautiful presentation! Fun, fun fun! This could be a nice work outing if your company has the funds. "Obviously, you're not a golfer." I think The Dude was referring to me back in the late 90's when The Big Lebowski premiered. No, I'm not a golfer. The great thing about Topgolf though is that you don't have to be one to have a memorable experience. The space is truly something else. A marvel in size, scope and design. It's more like a golf-resort-sports-bar-restaurant-entertainment-club on steroids. Let's just say you can hit your daily step goal here. I suggest making a reservation if you plan to utilize the driving range. We made one for 7:30pm on a Friday night and were pushed back nearly an hour and a half. The only reason why we weren't super upset was because we were able to land a table for 7 near the bar almost instantaneously, and we were extremely hungry. To be honest, my expectations were low when it came to the food options. Contrary to my initial thoughts, Topgolf has elevated the food and beverage program in comparison to the stereotypical sports bar. Mostly everything we had was solid, including the wings, bacon mac rolls, and the 40 oz. burger. The 40 oz. burger was a sight for sore eyes. At $29 it's a total steal. It was my friend's bachelor weekend, so everything in excess was had. Shockingly, the burger remained juicy throughout. It also comes with two pounds of fries and a bunch of pickles. Hot damn! Part of the reason our reservation was pushed back was due to a private party on the 3rd floor. Once it ended, we made our way up there. At each "lane" you are provided with a server, who will take your food and drink orders. There are couches and TV's, what else do you need? Golf-wise, it was a lot of fun. Being the odd duck out with a group of golf professionals was my overcoming, but that's the thing about the Topgolf concept--it appeals to the seasoned vet and the novice. I stuck with a driver and whacked the crap out of the ball. Anger management seminars should be held here! As fun as it is, this place adds up quickly! Similar to a theme park or sporting event, there's no other way around it. Topgolf is in a class all its own. They have zero competition, so I don't foresee prices going down soon. This place totally brings out my uncoordinated side. Saturday night was my second visit to Topgolf. My birthday was last month (January) and due to an unforeseen health issue, I wasn't able to plan a fun night out with my friends until just recently. If you don't know, when you subscribe to Topgolf e-mails, you'll get a $10 credit to use during your birthday month. SO, I had this credit I wanted to use, but the soonest I could get to the establishment would be February 2nd...just outside the month. I initially tried to inquire about using my credit as an exception (outside the stated month) using an online method via their website. I figured, why not ask, right? I did get a pretty fast automated response stating they received my message. Shortly after that, "Brittany" responded to my inquiry and said she would escalate this question to Topgolf Orlando and someone would be getting in touch with me. -no one reached out. Saturday morning I received an email asking how my experience was. Well, I had to tell them the truth- my issue/question was not addressed. I ended up calling Topgolf and after connecting with someone and asking my simple question, a manager came on the phone and said they would gladly let me use my credit! Awesome! They said they put my name down so when I arrived, there would be no issues. My family and friends met up with me at Topgolf Saturday night. I arrived first and checked in (we did not make reservations). I was able to reserve an "extended bay" which would fit 8 people. It was 3:45 pm at this point. The lady at the check-in quoted me a 30-45 minute wait. Alright- cool! Not bad for a Saturday afternoon. I asked her to check if my name was noted about my credit--she disregarded my question and just said my bay attendant would take care of it all. Okee dokee- no prob! 30 minutes went by, 40 minutes went by..an hour and 20 minutes rolled by. FINALLY, the text came stating that our bay was ready. YASS! We walk to our space and the party that was there...was...STILL there. We had to wait for the party to leave and for the table to be cleared of half eaten food. I forgot to add, while we were waiting for our bay, we grabbed a table by the bar. It was a large high-top table that seated all 8 of us. No one came and acknowledged our presence. After minutes passed, my friend's husband had to grab a waiter so we could place our order. In regards to the actual game play. It was tons of fun!!! The bay area was pretty clean and well-kept. The kids in our party got junior sized clubs for their use. As the sun set, it was fun to see the targets out on the course light up in vibrant colors. I suggest going at night for a cool experience. My friend ordered the Jumbo Pretzel Board. This was amazing- a perfect selection for a big group to share. It had genoa salami, jalapeno sausage, prsciutto, a selection of a couple cheese, apples, grapes, berries, nuts and two dipping options, a Dijon mustard and a cheese sauce. 10/10 At the end of our game play, the attendant came and asked if we'd like to extend our game. After declining, I reminded her about my 10 dollar credit. The checks game...and the credit was not applied, so she went back and FINALLY...the ten dollar discount appeared. Finally. I'm shocked that I ended up writing this mini novel, but my experience had to be shared. If it weren't for the frustrating moments of the day and the couple days leading up, this would easily be 5/5 stars. read more

Right across the parking lot from Andretti's is Topgolf, and I found myself there after spending time at Andretti's. Topgolf is fantastic if you are in need of an outdoor group activity but also want food and drinks. This Topgolf, being right on International Drive, is perpetually packed. But because we went in the early afternoon, we were able to get a bay on the bottom level. It might not be optimal for driving balls down the range, but perfect for practicing your chipping and short range game. Going to give it a 3.5 We had a work event and I had never been here before. It's a really large area where you swing golf balls into nets and there's an Angry Birds game where depending on where the ball hits you earn points. They initially put us on the 3rd floor but with my fear of heights, they graciously moved us to the 2nd floor. Still scary but a lot less fear of falling and killing myself. Yes, there is a small netting area right next to the green if you fall but let's be real.. a good trip or stumble and oops there you go. We ordered some appetizers: pretzels, cheesy mac bites, queso blanco and chips plus thr guacamole and chips. Did not try the pretzels but both dips and the cheesy macaroni bites rocked. As a meal I got their chicken sandwich with tater tots. The fried chicken came with two slices of bread and the sauce to dip it into. That was it. Very bland fried chicken but the sauce was decent. My boss ordered the veggie burger and it was accidentally mixed up with a regular burger one of the other guys got who took a bite and hated it. Service was good, event was fun. Went to Topgolf Orlando with 12 buddies. It was amazing. The service over the phone was stellar. Every person I spoke with to book my party was phenomenal. When we arrived at this giant facility a golf cart pulled up by the van to pick us up and take us to the door. They offer this cool pickup service. Once we got inside I was impressed with the décor and layout of the building. They have 3 different levels with many different bays for golfing. They also have a sweet check in system where they text message you once your lane is ready. The cost is decent. We paid about $45 for a lane. The cool thing about Topgolf is they let you split the cost up into separate checks SO it was literally around $6 bucks per guy and we played for an hour! On top of that they have a full-service bar with loads of sweet treats and foods to nibble on. The objective of the game is awesome. The restaurant is pretty good for arcade food and I highly recommend their cocktails because they do a fantastic job masking the taste of alcohol. The staff is very professional and helpful. From the hostess to your bay staff. They explain every step of the process thoroughly. I love that you can visit various times of the day and the prices reflect the time slot for which you're visiting. I also enjoy that you can play from 30 minutes to 2 hours and anywhere in between. It's delightful visiting in the evening as the place lights up and you get a nice backdrop of Orlando-we even caught fireworks from the Universal Area in the distance. 5 stars for an awesome experience for our midday date! We drove to Top Golf on a whim, as my fiance had never been, and I'd only visited the Las Vegas location. We were greeted while parking our car by a girl driving-you guessed it- a golf cart. She was super friendly and made small talk during the short ride. I gave her a tip based on that alone, and because it was crazy hot and she was driving all over. Once inside, you're immediately immersed in a Day club type atmosphere. Music pumping, pretty people everywhere, and children running around. Directly in front of the door is the golf merch. We're novices, so we kept walking. To the left, the bar. To the right, the check in area. The only con is the check in, I hate that you have to purchase a "membership". I get it, it's supposed to feel like an exclusive golf club, but as someone who doesn't really play, I probably won't be back as I'm barely a golf enthusiast. But I digress, we signed up for accounts & were asked if the first available area would work. I replied yes, and we were directed downstairs. Now, having been to top golf before, the best experience is from one of the upper levels, so I requested to be moved up. We were immediately moved to level 3, which I knew Shawn would get a kick out of. Once your area is available, you receive a text that you must respond to, then you have about 5 minutes to get to your bay. If you've never been to Top Golf, this can be a bit confusing and anxiety inducing as you weave your way through the crowds to your bay. Once there, we were greeted by 2 folks, one to set up the area, one to explain the game. Once that was figured out, we ordered steak nachos from the menu & 2 waters. The nachos were A-1, the smear of sour cream was a little depressing lol. We played 2 games of golf, 20 balls a piece, and of course I lost. Bill came out to about $70 including tip. I have been waiting what seems like forever to go here so I decided this would be a nice place to get some friends together to celebrate my bday! Day of was smooth sailing, they texted me a reminder and close to the time of the reservation I was text another update which asked if I was on time or needed more time. We were running late so I requested more time. A few minutes before that time the system texted me the bay number. I made my way up to the bay but they had changed the name on my bay but I was there before the other party so I insisted on keeping that bay bc I didn't like the new bay location. The hostess called the manager who made it happen! Cool! They go through your safety instructions and u determine how much time you spend there. $50/hr. We had fun but it started raining but the way it's setup we didn't get wet but it affected the balls when we hit them. We ordered the golf bag but for the price and size it was really just juice. We ordered a few other drinks but a lot the same. We ordered nachos,pizza, quesadillas, & wings. All of it was good except my friend didn't like her burger it was burnt. Pros: Fun, Different, Good Vibes, Good Food, Potentially Good Drinks, and the Two Waitresses (Knotty & Chastity) that was just passing by my table to get their tables but provided Awesome customer service and made my bday celebration fun and memorable!! Cons: We spent well over $300 for 2.5 hours so I feel like I should have left feeling like I had a 5 Star Experience! This place has the potential to be a 5 Star but these cons reduced my rating! $50 skip the line fee, The Rude Waitress I had assigned to my table, Watered down drinks for $15/ea, & DJ (WACK MUSIC) (I requested radio friendly songs and was told by the DJ that he couldn't play "HiPHOP music" I requested Cardi B & Bruno Mars! I've been to a few Topgolfs but this one in particular was super high energy - maybe because it was Orlando? Came here for a work event with my team and we had the last two sections with a nice buffet and drink tickets. The appetizers we added were really solid and I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite appetizer was the Asian wings - plump and juicy with an amazing sauce. Our server was attentive, fun and energetic which I always appreciate. Good vibes only right? This is a fun spot whether you've ever held a golf club or not. Three floors of driving bays are set up sort of like a bowling alley, and you can just hit balls, or aim for the giant lighted holes while playing a variety of games. The food and drink are quite good. In addition to small plates, they catered an entire dinner buffet for our office group, and everyone really liked it. There are also several bars if you just want to sit and relax and enjoy a game on TV, or watch people hitting balls out onto the field. read more
