Went Wednesday night for college night with family... Barry was more than friendly and helpful! He accompanied us and made sure that we knew where to find him if we needed anything. Great experience for being our first time there. My wife is not a golfer and I am. We went as a group from her employer as a Christmas get together for his staff. The attendant we had did and Excellent job of taking care of us. The food was very good, the drinks were right on. We stayed for 3 hours since we all were having a good time. My only negative is that you are an hour time slot for the golfing experience and if you are having food, the clock doesn't stop for you to enjoy it or conversation that you are having with other people in your group. Maybe with the size of the group we had, it would be different with reservations but the person setting it up said they charge for reservations and it doesn't go towards your outing. But again, we all enjoyed ourselves and had a good time, even the non golfers had fun. Well worth trying it out. We plan on doing this again with family and taking my team from work. read more

Excellent time. Great concept- golf in a bowling alley atmosphere. No complaints about the service or product. What I will complain about is the reservation process. They charge $50 for a reservation. Just the reservation! It's not taken off your bill. It's just a charge, plus tax! Who does that?? I can see losing your reservation money if you don't show up but adding it to your bill if "morally reprehensible" as my friend said. Just go there and take a chance. You can always have a few drinks while you wait. Don't support this outrage! read more

Our 13U baseball team was in Myrtle Beach for a tournament and after it was over, our boys wanted to play some golf. We went around 7:00pm on Sunday evening (holiday weekend) and they were pretty crowded. We heard it would be about a 45 minute wait. We ended up bumping into Barry (one of the managers, who was a Redskins fan like my husband) and they started talking football and my husband told him about our boys and the team really wanting to play golf. He did everything he could to accommodate us. He shortened our waiting time and upgraded us to the top floor. They boys were so excited. We had a great experience and our server (unfortunately I can't remember his name) was amazing also! Definitely a great group of people who care about their job and giving you the best experience possible. We will definitely be going again on our trips back to Myrtle Beach! read more

First visit to a Topgolf. A lot to take in. You definitely pay "top dollar" for the experience. We reserved a bay, don't know if we really needed too. The bar type food was good and reasonably priced. Adult beverages are pricey $$$. Music is piped throughout, great tunes to listen to. Think they are still working out the kinks- some of the staff need more customer service training. It's a fun experience. read more

Even two stars might be too much for this experience at TopGolf. We gave Top Golf a try because of my son's birthday and the bay was nice that we sat in, along with the precautions that they took for Social distancing. But that's it! Our server Dartagnan C. was absolutely horrible! He came over to take drink orders and brought the drinks... then he didn't show up until I went to find him after about 45min, smh! He played golf right beside us instead of checking to see how the food was and if we needed anything else. Then he got an attitude with my sister-in-law when she asked for a drink. And of course once our game was over he popped up right away with the check. Not sure whether we were being profiled but it sure as hell felt like it! We will not return to the Myrtle Beach location if this is how service for a $168 tab is given. read more

We came in at 11:00AM and planned to play at the lower morning rate. We asked for 2nd deck and were told it would be a 10 minute wait. We sat there and noticed 2 bays not being used. We asked an employee and he came back and said they were reserved. (Lane 217 and 218) After waiting until 11:45 we were then sent to lane 217, which had been open since we got there. (NO WAIT NEEDED) We played for an hour and decided to extend for 30 min. When the bill came we were charged the higher afternoon rate. I was shocked. What a cheesy way to run a business. Our attendant told us that when we extended our game, it caused our ENTIRE rate to go up? Also it seems they have a policy that they want to you close out and pay your bill WHILE you are still playing? Can't we wait until AFTER the game? Food was a bit pricey, smallish portions and TGIFridays quality level. Like a bowling alley with golfin' sticks. The next day we all went out for mini-golf and some burgers. We had a BETTER time for 1/3 the money. Everyone should try this at least once. It was fun, and maybe it's designed for folks with a lot more "throw away" money than us. read more

Have been to several Topgolfs around the country. This one was, by far, the worst. To start with the positives, it's a new location, so everything is very nice and pretty to look at. The bays and the range operate correctly, the way they do at other locations. Also, our waitress in the bar area was very friendly, as was the front desk crew. Beyond that, it all went downhill. The food is TERRIBLE. We had a group of 6 and not one single person was happy with their meal. Definitely canned and frozen items reheated to serve, nothing being made fresh. Bread/buns so stale they crumbled in our hands. Chips so stale they could be bent and not crack. And for such lack of quality, exorbitant prices! We'd been told that if we ordered food in the bar while waiting for our bay, that servers would help us move everything to the bay should it become available. NOPE. We were told to carry our meals and drinks, and make our way to the third floor to claim our bay. Needless to say, we ended up with spilled sauces, etc. all over the elevator- and down two of our shirts. Our waiter once we got to the bay was not friendly in the least and clearly hated his job, not to mention that we were forever hunting for him to refill drinks. And to top it all off, the music was so incredibly loud- way louder than the lively level it usually is at the other locations- that it was damn near impossible to even enjoy our rounds. Definitely won't return to this location any time soon and would recommend for others to seek other golfing opportunities when in MB, which isn't too difficult considering it's a golfing capital of the east coast. read more

Soooo much fun!!! We went July 2020 in a post COVID time. I was satisfied with their spacing and cleanliness. I did bring my own cleaning wipes to wipe down the clubs & table before we used them. The food was good and my 10 year old absolutely loved the injectable donut holes. read more

I visited TopGol Myrtle Beach on a Wednesday evening, and we had the BEST time. From our bartender, Donovan, to our Bay Host, Rachel, we were taken care of with friendliness and enthusiasm. In times like these it's extraordinarily difficult for businesses to staff, and our TopGolf is handling it very well. They have asked employees to help in areas they have never performed in, and we felt they nailed it. With limited facilities due to distancing, accommodating guests is a juggling act. We were quoted a two hour wait, but after watching employees pitch in to help reset tables, we were in a bay in less than an hour. We spoke with two managers during our visit, Donna and Chris, and it was obvious their goal was to provide a great experience, and accommodate the best they could. I can't imagine the requests they're receiving during this pandemic, nor the regulations they need to follow in order to insure guest safety, but whatever they're doing, it's working. Food was great, drinks were great, people were great. My swing needs work. We'll be back soon. read more

Great place to go for Family fun. We had a group of 5 which consisted of 2 consistent golfers. We played for 2 hours and ordered dinner. Both were excellent. ONLY complaint would be that on some of my shots the ball would not register or sometimes it would give my points to another player. For anyone thinking about hitting it over the net, good luck. I hit it on average 310 and I was hitting it only halfway up the net. read more
