I've been to a few different TopGolf facilities, and had nothing but great experiences. Unfortunately, this experience was awful. They were busy, so we were told that our wait would be 2-2.5 hours max. At the 2 hour mark, we were told it would be around 30-45 minutes. After 30 minutes, we were told it would be another 30-45 minutes. Their reasoning was a rain delay even though no bays had ceased operating during the rain shower. When we asked 1 final time, we were told we were 5th on the wait list, about 45 minutes to wait. At that time, we decided to leave, and asked for our name to be removed, with it being 7:30 and having a 1 year old with us. We were encouraged to come back in the morning when our wait would be "maybe 15-20 minutes". As we got in the car, we received our message that our bay was ready...somehow we were magically moved to the top of the list. We still decided to leave anyways due to the poor customer service. Our main issue is the lack of honesty with their wait times. The number of groups and specific lengths of time per bay clearly dictates a wait time for incoming groups. Horrible service. We were notified our bay would be ready shortly. 35 minutes later we got our bay only to find out that people were still using the bay. There were several bays open but nobody was using them. This is the worst Top Golf I have ever been to!! Stay away!!! You will only be disappointed!! read more

I love top golf, however I wasn't pleased with this location. The front desk wasn't very welcoming, and our server Jayla met us at our Bay and let us check ourselves In and said she'd be back shortly. We didn't see her for 35 minutes after that. When she came back we ordered an appetizer and did not see her again for 15-20 more minutes when by the time we had been ready to order our food but only had like 10 minutes left of our game. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but we saw the Nextdoor bays server at least 10 times, we almost asked her to place an order for us. i love topgolf, it's one of my favorite things to do--and i'm not much of a golfer but i do enjoy the range. i got really excited when i saw that there was a location in myrtle beach, so we decided to check it out. we walked in and we're told that the wait would be an 1 & 45min to 2hr-- not that big of a deal. it was a friday & busy, so we understood. we sat down at the bar/food area & ordered some food. our server who helped us was pretty kind & she made sure to check on us frequently. about 2 & a half hours of waiting we decided to ask the front desk how much longer on our wait & they told us we should have a bay shortly.. when we finally got our bay i was excited, but it was also let down that they didn't have the fun little games like angry birds. we still had a great time, and the food was still pretty good, but i wish it the front desk was a bit better with communication and that the range had a little more choices with gameplay. read more

I've been coming to this location for a few months and it's pretty mediocre. TopGolf is a well done operation but the staff at this place is poorly trained and managed. There are lots of options for food and drink and the complete lack of attentiveness is remarkable at this location. To be clear the staff is wonderfully nice but not attentive in a productive way at all. The floor manager comes by and talks to you for ten minutes when one minute is enough. You have the bay for 90 minutes and the server comes by every 20 minutes. It's frustrating and shows a clear lack of training all around. read more

The food was the only reason I gave it two stars. The burger was great. But our server was very inadequate to serve. Her name was Analise or something of the sort. She did not greet us with her name. Very hostile. I understand we have bad days but she did not even ask us what drinks we would like... she wouldn't start our service until we started the game time. She messed up the checks. And did not even give us a pen to sign with after she returned our checks. If you can't give friendly service at least do the very basic and get the checks done correctly. I recently here for the first time and I loved it. The atmosphere of the entire building was great and it was a great. Topgolf would be an amazing experience with anyone from friends to family to date night. The golfing was great and an amazing bonding experience. The food came relatively quickly (or at least I think so, I was having a lot of fun and lost track of time) and the food was also amazing. All of us ordered burgers with fries and they all tasted great. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend this experience for everyone. read more

First time at a top golf. No server came. Went to the bar to order, the bartender said, she would send a server. Waited 20 more minutes, went back to the bar, she said she called the manager. Waited another 20 minutes and said, enough is enough. Ordered at bar. Beer I ordered ran out, Bloody Mary mix ran out, and 2 food items we ordered were out. Bartender was nice and embarrassed. First time I've been and it was so much fun! I'm a terrible golfer who went with a very experienced pair, and we found it fit all our levels and was fun for all. Management and bartender were atrocious. Took 2-3 hours to have golf and food. On a positive note server Lizzy is definitely worthwhile in a management position. She was not our server however she helped us track down our food and get to our spot to tee off. She had phenomenal service. Great place for family fun. We were looking for things to do while it rained and this was a great option. The walk in wait time was really long but they take down your number and text you when it's ready so we drove around the corner to the indoor trampoline park and were done just as the golf station was ready. The play area is covered and heated but open to the course area outside so you feel like you are outside even if the weather isn't great. Night time is fun because the holes are lit up but then harder to see where your ball lands. We brought 4 teenage boys (varying levels of golf experience and interest) and they all had fun. Play area allows for up to 6 people and one fee for the hour(s) so good value for money. Highly recommend! read more

i Have been to several other locations and enjoyed myself so I was anxious to check this one out in Myrtle beach As golf is popular in the Carolinas. I had a good time and it was sort of as expected. Visited in December but just getting to review as couldnt get into my email to confirm yelp so I had to create new one. similar menu to other locations. Pretty good beer selection too. Enjoyed driving range as I love the digital tracking on ball. Improved my distance from my Virginia location visit in September so that's always a plus ! Staff was decent too as they were timely with food and drink order. prices were sort of as expected and i believe close to the same as other locations as golf game is more on the high end side so I dont mind paying anyway. overall I liked it and it passed the test and I will hit that location again on my next visit when to town when it gets warmer . read more

Won't be coming back here anytime soon. Came in with another couple Friday late afternoon around 4:30 to get an early dinner. Sat in a totally empty bar area on the main floor only to get passed by the server several times without being acknowledged. Waited for a bit longer before someone from our group went up to the main desk to see if the bar was even open....we were told the bar WAS open and the bartender would be right with us. We were passed by the bartender two more times, again without acknowledging us. As I stated...WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE BAR. We got up to leave and walked out the door!! To sum up, as best as I can, we visited Top Golf to play virtual GOLF COURSES around the country like in other Top Golf Facilities, and like with their competitor, DRIVE SHACK, in Raleigh NC. Before we were told that the virtual golf courses are NOT in their system, we signed up for 90 minutes and then were told that they don't have the golf courses in their system at the Myrtle Beach location. We were told that we would have to play the target games that they only have in their system. We tried to play them, but there was a severe lag in the scoring system and our time was running while the computer tried to update our scores as we played. Many times, the computer wouldn't even score the shots we did make into the targets on the course. We became very irritated and asked to pay out our tab so we can leave. The three of us only had a Diet Coke and maybe 30 minutes of trying to play and we were charged the full 90 minutes we had to sign up for while looking for the virtual golf courses. We were not even refunded for the time we didn't get to play. Also, to make the reservation, we were told it was a THIRD PARTY company that did that, independent of TOP GOLF, and that ran us an additional $26.25 for that. So, for 30 minutes of attempted play, the three of us were charged $31.58 plus tip with the additional $26.25 reservation fee. They also charged us $5 membership fees for those of us who hadn't played Top Golf and were not in their system. read more

Not my first Top Golf visit but my first Myrtle Beach location visit, I like Top Golf burgers and always enjoy a few good laughs watching the golf while eating. I have always found other Top Golf locations to operate like well oiled machines but the MB location needs significant improvement in the food service department, a lot of servers just standing around watching tv and talking while it took almost 15 minutes for someone to even ask if we had been waited on. I was in fact fixing to just get up and leave when someone stopped to ask. They were not busy at all and 2 different servers walked right by us without ever even turning their head our way. Got our orders and one of them was incorrect so one person was delayed another 10 or 12 minutes waiting on their food, there was only one other table occupied on the 2nd floor and one of them had received an incorrect order also. When they were building the MB location I commented to a friend that their biggest nightmare was going to be finding the quality of workers Top Golf requires. Looks like I was correct. Plenty of staff but a lot more training and enthusiasm needed! read more

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time on my birthday. We went around 10 a.m and enjoyed some mimosas. They also have brunch options, which sounded tasty but we had our kinds set on Calabash afterwards. The gentleman that helped is sign in and set up our player accounts was very nice and helpful. Our waitress was also great and we had an all around great experience. Even after we played our games we played foosball which was also fun. I'm definitely going back and tell my friends. We have been coming to Topgolf every time we come to Myrtle Beach. This is the first time the scoring of the games were ever explained to us. Our attendant, Timmy was amazing! Very attentive, supportive and again explain more than any other person has. Next time we go, we will definitely ask for Timmy. He is a keeper! read more

We made reservations or 6 of us for 7:30pm on a Monday night. We got there a little early to enjoy some drinks at the bar. We checked in around 7pm and at 9 pm we still had not been seated yet. People were getting bays before we were and we had been there way before them. We kept checking in and the guy said we were assigned to a bay that kept adding time. We were under the impression that it was first available. There were empty bays for hours and some were reserved already so they said. They had no care that we had been waiting so long with reservations. We were starving and all they said was "you could have eaten while you waited". We wanted to eat and play at the same time. We are locals and some of us had to work early the next day. We ended up leaving and they could care less. So disappointed. Probably won't be back. read more

The customer service here is horrible. The front desk needs to improve their attitude with people. Customers wait upwards of 3 hrs for a bay and the front desk needs to be more informative and they need an attitude check. One wor responses and a don't care attitude is embarrassing for the business. These are the people who first interact with customers. An update to the review is that I contacted the marking person with the email provided and over a week later still no response. This was super fun! The food was great, and it was very fun. Service was great. The wait for a lot of the bays were 3.5+ hours but we got on fast. You don't need any golf experience at all, I didn't know how to hold a golf club and still had a lot of fun! This is a place to definitely try and would come again! read more

Our church youth group was in town for a conference and we spent the afternoon at Topgolf. We had reserved several bays and had arranged for buffet style snacks. This place did not disappoint. The kids had an amazing time and the staff who helped us were wonderful. The food was fantastic and freshly prepared. The service was prompt and top notch. read more

Sounds like A company problem not mine. One of the things my family and i wanted to do on vacation in myrtle and unfortunately couldn't because of piss poor planing on there behalf. We went back in August while on vacation in Myrtle Beach and it was the best experience! A little pricey but in a tourist town that is to expect. I've never played golf before but our host gave us all the tips and help we could need. The drinks were delicious and the food just as good. We had such a great time on a tuesday in the middle of the day. We got there and they told us there would be a 2 hour wait. We debated leaving, but decided to hang out and have some food and drinks outside while we waited. Our server, Jess, was friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were good and prompt. When we got into our bay, we had a great time and our other server, Brittany was great too. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and they even offered me a room to nurse my 6 month old.
