You'll find this Pub & Driving Range on the Intercostal Waterway side of the Barefoot Resort. It's a bit hidden and tucked away in a remote area but there are signs that will direct you there. What an outstanding idea! A restaurant and a Driving Range all connected together. The menu has all the usual pub grub suspects but don't be fooled, the food quality here is exceptional, try the Ruben, you will be pleasantly surprised. It's set up like a sports bar with many huge HDTV's. Right next door is the Driving Range. It's affiliated with the Barefoot Resort Golf Courses. When you have a tee time at one of the four courses, they will shuttle you over and offer a complimentary bucket of balls. Since it's 'off the beaten path' you'll find that it's not crowded and in great condition. They have a card reader system set up so you just swipe you card and no need to deal with an attendant. read more

Pizza review: brick oven bar pie. Good ingredients, came out piping hot. Need to let it set a few minutes or the roof of your mouth will suffer the consequences. Pizza was not super tight and probably could have stood to be in the oven a few minutes longer to firm it up, but it was fully cooked...just my preference. Once it set it had minimal flop on a few pieces while others limped along. Crust was crispy and tasty. Overall taste was good. I would rate this a 7.7. Very good bar pie. If you are in the Barefoot Landing area of N. Myrtle Beach this pizza is worth getting. Stopping and hanging out is also not a bad idea. Nice atmosphere and little hang out. We had been going to Putters for multiple years, as it WAS a good place, but after last week, we will take our business to the many other options. The last time we saw a room of over served people by a staff that was more interested in in flirting than service. Limited menu, which is ok on a busy night. To make it better, we had to confront the over served patrons as they were leaning against car and decided it was ok to put hands on my wife. When asked to remove them they said it was our issue. The bruises on her arm from being held by them tells elsewise. Not entirely there issue, but a dark parking lot in remote area, seems if interested in safety they would address this. This was a good place, but seems to headed in a way that at least for us, is not a place to be anymore. read more

The waitress was awesome, but we made previous reservations for a "rehearsal dinner" of sorts. When the manager was requested, she refused to come out from behind the bar. Terrible, terrible management. This restaurant was completely aware of the number of people coming in and what time we would be arriving. We placed our orders around 7:30 and did not receive our food until 9:05. When it started coming out, it was one sandwich at a time while the rest of the customers received theirs before we did. The sandwiches were hot which tells me they didn't even start them until about 8:50. Multiple items were missing, or done incorrectly and after every other item came out, then we were finally told they were out of turkey, something we ordered. Over 2 hours of waiting for food and no apologies or even recognition of the issue. What a disappointment from a place that had done well previously. read more

This place is "hit or miss" . . . Although they have daily specials, they also have some of the rudest waitresses you will ever experience. My wife and I ordered a large pepperoni and spinach pizza yesterday. When the pizza arrived at the table it was burnt, and there was only pepperoni on it. When we brought it to the attention of our waitress (Lauren) she first told us the spinach was "probably underneath" . . . when we showed her that was not the case she then checked with the cook and returned to inform us they were "out of spinach" . . . I'm a huge fan. Eat here most every time we are at out beach condo. Love playing the Barefoot courses and then having a beer and pizza here. Are you waiting for the but..... My wife is the most laid back of the laid back crowd. But even she has a pet peeve. Almost every time we order a vegetarian pizza at Putters Pub, the pizza comes out of the oven and sits on the counter before being delivered to the table. Sits long enough to cool. She loves her pizza piping hot and gets so agitated waiting for the waitress to deliver our pizza. Happened again last week with a golfing buddy, he said his pizza was cool by the time he got it. Solution, a designated food/drink delivery employee. No food sits longer than thirty seconds with every staff member pitching in during a crunch period. It's a simple solution fora real problem, been eating here for almost a decade so cool pizza has been the norm. It's 7PM and we are still undecided as to where...finally PUTTER'S PUB was suggested. At 7:30 the place was happening, we grabbed a table for 6 people. Our first waitress took our appetizer and drink order, and then a second waitress Michelle took over. She was fanatastic, bringing pitchers of beer, drinks, advising us on our meal choices and knew (without looking it up) what channel the game we requested was on. 21 TV's in the place. The apps were good, the meals great, all for a reasonable price. This is my 3rd visit there over the last two years and this place needs to be in a heavier rotation of visits for us. I've been gnawing on this for a week and have decided to leave my opinion in some forums. Putter's Pub has very good pizzas and I have been consistent in recommending them in several public forums. Most of the food I've tried is above average as well. I will continue to be a customer, albeit a customer that has bumped Putter's down a notch. To the point, I called in an order to go that was going to include some wings. They had price points for six & 12 wings with a decent savings if you ordered the dozen. Thing is, I wanted a dozen with two flavors and they wouldn't do that for me. The order would have to be entered as two separate orders of six. Putter's isn't the first place I've been to that wouldn't customize an order of wings, but I've been to many other wing joints that have no problem mixing flavors; typically a minimum of six of a kind. I understand this isn't a big deal in the whole scheme of things, but Putter's wants to be a "neighborhood pub" of sorts for the Barefoot residents, yet they told me "NO" to a simple request that they could have easily replied, "yes, of course we can do that." In the second scenario everyone is happy, especially me, a regular customer that would have appreciated the consideration. Rant over. read more

Came here while I was back in town visiting and I loved it! Being from the area I've been to just about every place and I had never tried Putter's. It was so refreshing! I loved the atmosphere and the "at home" kinda feeling. More than enough TVs to watch the games! Awesome drinks to try. Best lemon martini I've had in a while. My mom and friends tried some of the food and it was good as well! Never seen fries quite like theirs, but they were delicious. Definitely going to be a must go-to from now on when I'm back in town. The menu has some nice unique selections - like a french dip panini - and the food came out quickly and was totally fair. I went to Putter's Pub while on vacation with my family and friends. We went for Trivia Tuesday and were really excited about being able to play trivia while on vacation (we love going to trivia spots in Pittsburgh). Anyways, the trivia was awesome - would highly recommend going on a Tuesday to play. As far as Putter's Pub goes, it was also great. We got the appetizer special for Tuesday which were chicken quesadillas and tacos, and we also got the hamburger sliders. Everything was delicious but I would order the hamburgers sliders again over anything else. I got the chicken sandwich for my dinner while the others got a hamburger, salad, etc. All of our food was delicious and not one person had something negative to say. The server was also sweet as can be. We were a pain in the butt table, there were 8 of us, with 4 different checks but she made sure we were all taken care of at all times. We had won a gift card during trivia, so on Friday night we had decided to go back (just my boyfriend and I) to get pizza to go. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice, we informed him we were going to order a beer or two and also place a pizza order to go. He got the order to go quickly and we were in and out in 20 minutes. I would definitely go back when we go to Myrtle again. P.S. used to be good. New owner. Some night they have 2 great servers. Some nights 2 immature servers that are more interested in dancing than serving. New pizza maker lady first pizza was great. Second onky had ingredients in the middle. Nothing close to the edges. Third time forgot the garlic and olive oil sauce. We normally go 3-4 times in a week. So this Monday or maybe Tuesday we drove there for lunch. We were told the cook didn't come in so no food till 4pm. I totally understand. Hard to get help these days. So that was fine. Today Saturday sept 10. I called at 11 am to see if they were serving lunch. Young lady answers and I said are u serving lunch today. She answers very rudely. Of course we are serving lunch today we serve lunch every day. I said that's not true we came earlier this week and you were NOT serving lunch. So we wanted to call before droning ther for nothing. She said well that was one time. I said yes it was one time so I simply wanted to call before driving there to nothing again. At that point she lost it. Got loud because I was nothing her to ask if they. We're serving lunch. Tried to make me look stupid for asking. But fool me one shame on you. Fool me twice In the same week. Shame on me for. It asking. But she got very rude on the phone when I wanted to double check to make sure they had food. No reason for her attitude. It will be a longggg time before we go back again. And I will call and make sure they are open before I go. Place use to run well. Since the new owners took over it's gone down hill. Used to alway have popcorn in the machine at dinner.
