The Dirty Armadillo is such a fun spot and definitely worth checking out. There's plenty of parking, and once you walk in, the space is huge with tons to do. They've got arcade games, pool tables, live music, and even a whole area for line dancing. Plus, lots of table games to keep you entertained while you wait. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes...they do not skimp here! The homemade mozzarella sticks were absolutely the star of the show, seriously delicious. And the chili on the fries? Next level. They don't have draft beer (bottles only), just something to keep in mind. But honestly, the overall vibe and experience more than make up for it. What a great addition to this area! This building has changed over a lot during my lifetime of visiting the area but they did some work on this place and made it a fun, welcoming sports bar and music venue. The bartender and owner are friendly and will chat (bonus points the owner is an Ohio state fan). Everything is well priced and we really enjoyed watching Saturday football with cold beers and wings. read more

Discovered this bar while we were in town for the oyster festival and I'm so glad we did! A lot of bars in the area close really early so it was nice to find one that stayed open until midnight. The inside is HUGE with games everywhere. They had tic tac toe, jenga, a golf video game, and darts just to name a few. We went on a Friday and were so excited to see live music there, even without a cover. The live music was also great so that was a bonus. The service made our experience even better. We always got our drinks so quickly. The bartender (I think her name was Dawn) was so helpful and offered to make me a drink that wasn't on the menu when I couldn't decide what to get. A lot of bartenders don't make the extra effort to go above and beyond to make something o different from the menu so I was really impressed! The drink was delicious too. We went in October and there were so many Halloween decorations everywhere which was also really cool! Definitely recommend for a chill but fun night, & we'll be back next time we're in the area! read more

Another plus Is they have a lot more things to do besides drink and eat you could play pool you could join in on line dancing and they also line to book the best local bands in the area there always something entertaining going on. The place was nicely renovated with high top tables, booths and modern floors. Huge bar which seats at least 20 people. We were greeted immediately and got our drinks in a short period of time. The chicken wings were awesome, especially the teriyaki ones. Chicken philly sub was authentic and quite delicious. "Z" was our waitress and her service was excellent. Great place to eat, drink, dance, listen to music, play pool and have a great time. The owner and the people that work there are the best part of Dirty Armadillo. They always make you feel at home and do everything in their power to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Heard about the renovation and decided to take a chance for lunch. It was not busy, but we were really early on Sunday. The new place has great options for seating. They have booths as well as High Tops. Or you can just sit on the long bar. As for stuff to do, they have several pool tables and a couple of electronic dart machines. Looks like a good place for couples night, date night or even a boys weekend. We both got burgers and they were cooked perfectly. Stuffed when we walked out. The only down side was they charge extra for credit cards, but a lot of places are doing that now. read more

Fun little spot I look forward to visiting again. We had the appetizer bucket and the pretzel sticks with beer cheese both good and I'd def order again. Our waitress was a hoot! She was so friendly and talkative she alone would make me want to return. Prices were reasonable. While we were in they were offering line dance lessons which is a cool little bonus. They had plenty of pool tables and dart boards for those who like to game while out and a large dance floor like an old school honky tonk. Must be a fun place because every time I pass by the parking lot is packed. My only complaint is the menu is very hard to read. It's a low lit place and the menu is brown writing on a brown background. read more

Service is terrible Absolutely none of the bartenders made eye contact or asked if we needed anything. I had to get the manager 3 times over 5 hours to get service. We were staying close by. I called around 7 and said we were six and asked if we were okay bringing kids for dinner. The girl on the phone said of course. After chatting a bit more I again asked if we were good with an 11 and 14 year old. YES! We were there within 10 minutes. There was a guitar player who was pretty good. The girl at the bar totally ignored us standing just inside the door. I finally went and asked if we could sit anywhere. She was busy for a few minutes at the cash register as people were leaving. Five minutes later, we were still waiting for someone to look our way. The bar was not busy and there was no reason for us being ignored. A guy came out of the kitchen, looked our way and walked back into the kitchen. I would have appreciated her just telling me on the phone, "ah, it's not really kid friendly." We waited another few minutes and then left. No one met our eye as we left. read more

Don't go here if you're not a regular. Took 5-7 min just to get acknowledged for a drink...then another 10 for them to take my food order at the bar, and then waited over 30 min while others, who apparently were regulars, and got there after me, get their food super quick. The bartenders were not friendly at all and had no care that I had to cancel my order for waiting so long. I won't go again and recommend those reading this don't either. read more
